EPISODE 59: Bored*

We left Jenny to suffer in the snow while we returned to headquarters which took more than an hour but I expect a skilled officer like her knows how to remove bullets which means this was just a prelude to whatever conflict may arise between us. Her aggressiveness is leveled to mine and if it wasn't for that hook!

In my room, Charlotte aided my wounds and so she was unable to sleep. I feel happy to have a caring friend like her who sacrificed all that was left of the night just to help me while Zeal and the other two went back to sleep. She aided me wind bandages and even prepared some orange juice for me. It was only when the clock struck to five when she was given the opportunity to have a moment to sleep in my chair.

She didn't want to sleep in her room and even volunteered to be my helper; thus she stayed in mine instead. I wasn't able to sleep since she was busy aiding me. It was only at ten in the morning when I woke up, seeing her face an inch away from mine.

"You feeling better?" Charlotte inquired.

"A bit," I answered with a smile.

"Then, here." out of nowhere, she placed a tray of french toast with a glass of orange juice on my lap as she lifted my upper torso.

"Wh-what time did you wake up?"

"Nine. We're done eating breakfast by the way so it's your turn to eat. Don't mind nor think of Jenny for a moment, it will only make you worse."

"I know."

"Great, now spend the day off. I'll be heading out with Zeal today."

"H-huh?"

"Nothing. Just a little stroll around. Zeal volunteered to help me catch a specific Pokemon I'm looking for. I'll return with it, I'm sure of it! I only have three Pokemon which is unfair. Make sure you stay here in the room! Don't you dare leave or go somewhere else. Your leg is still wounded."

"Relax, I ain't going nowhere. Go ahead and catch your Pokemon while I rest here."

"Cool, I'll be going now. Remember my instructions and try your best to sleep. Don't worry or focus on anything else for the moment."

"Gotcha."

From there, we waved hands at each other as she closed the door, locking it with the spare key I gave her. Whoa, she really is that serious about not wanting me to leave. Now what to do with my leg that was injured? My face that is filled with bandages as so as my abdomen? Hmm, I can use my phone and play some games. If- I- If only I could reach it... there, gotcha!

Now, what to play? Let's see. Nothing much, never mind. If I can't use my phone then there is always my laptop. I could watch movies! Oh, wait, my USB is outside. I guess I'll be watching some videos none stop from the internet instead or!

"Gardevoir, Absol, Lily, Shelgon, Mawile, Mismagius, come out!" I tossed out all my Pokemon! They know what to do. They all looked to me and wondered why I sent them out in the first place.

"There's an emergency!" upon saying those words, all six of them were suddenly alerted.

"Help me, I'm just really bored," I told my Pokemon as they responded back with an expressionless face. All of them sighed and instead they all leaped to my bed and cuddled me closely.

"Thanks, but I want to do something. I can't go out or else Charlotte will scold me literally. Do you have anything in mind? Anyone? Please..."

<Gardevoir!>Gardevoir stood up from the bed all of a sudden. She teleported to a place I know not where but after a few seconds, she returned with something on hand. It was a plate with a slice of cherry cake on it.

"Th-thanks. When did you know how to bake Gardevoir?"

"Oh, you stole it from the bakery? Well, at least it's delicious." these were the only words I could think of for I was speechless but thankful for her actions. It made me full but the boredom always remained inside of me.

Then I gave up with following Charlotte's instructions and with Gardevoir's help, since she's the only one as tall as me and Lily is short by an inch, they helped me walked to my door. I'll just get my USB and that's pretty much it. I'll return and she'll never know I ever left my bed.

I took a grip of the doorknob and opened the door with a smile that immediately turned into a frown after seeing Charlotte glaring at me just outside my door.

"That was quick or was this a whole experiment to test if I'm obedient. Hehe."

"It was the Flying Pokemon Festival in Snowpoint City, I was able to get a Pokemon for free after winning in a carnival. Anyway... why are you planning to leave your room?!"

"Relax, I wanted to go to the... um, restroom since I can't hold my pee anymore." the excuse came up.

"Hmm? Okay then, but first, I want to play a game of Chess!"

"Great, that would be fun!"

"Liar! I thought you said you couldn't hold your pee!" she became furious again.

"F-fine, I got bored okay." I rolled my eyes at her.

"Humph, anyway... I got a Starly in the carnival but then I traded it for a Gliscor. The trainer agreed for some reason." she cooled her voice and sent out her new Pokemon for me to see. A Gliscor? It looks so feisty.

[Gliscor! The Fang Scorp Pokemon. A ground and flying type! Its flight is soundless. It uses its lengthy tail to carry off its prey... Then its elongated fangs do the rest] stated the Pokedex.

"I wish I could have one like yours," I uttered with a bit of jealousy.

Gliscor is a large, mainly blue-purple vampire bat-like Pokémon. Its legs have two toes and a slightly darker circular coloration on the underside, and its tail has two barbs, giving it is tail the resemblance of a vampire's fangs. Its arms are red with thin striations, and are completely detached from its black wings, and each are ended with large pincers.

Its ears have discernible, red, chambered ear insides, and its eyes are yellow. It has six visible fangs in its mouth, and its waist, like its arms, is red and striated. Gliscor's body resembles an open mouth, with the pointed protrusions coming from its upper torso resembling fangs, further illustrating its vampiric qualities. It appears to be partially covered in an insect-like exoskeleton.

"Luna, you got six Pokemon already!"

"Well, my PC is linked to Professor Olive, I can catch a ton more! But no luck so far. I don't want a Gible nor a Riolu."

"Well, you'll probably be able to catch a Pokemon when you learn how to obey orders! Now go to your room and rest. Oh and here's your USB. Watch some movies on your laptop oh but don't start it without me, I'll just get the popcorn!"

"That's music to my ears," I replied, excited to have a movie marathon with Charlotte.
