We returned to the ground level and sealed the manhole for good before other problems arise. We were glad all three were safe but who is to thank for the success of this rescue mission? Then that would be no other than Virgo. Without her, Zeal and the rest would drown which is a terrible fate.
We were heading back to headquarters. The four were in front, I was behind. Seems like a pretty normal early morning to me if one might ask. Though, I completely forgot about the person who attempted to shoot me with a sleeping bullet. It was completely erased from my mind and because of this, I wasn't quite aware.
Then from the left, I saw a light heading towards me. The light belonged to a motorcycle for I hear the galloping engine noises. It even caught the attention of the four as they too looked at the light heading towards me. I couldn't move and the next thing I knew, my leg was shot with a hook of a grappling hook. The motorcycle came forth and passed me and I was dragged from behind.
"Luna!" the four were alerted as they try to chase me by heading the direction the motorcycle went but then it was too fast for anyone to catch it. They have no choice but to follow the trail carved in the snow.
I didn't want to remove the hook which was piercing me because it would make me bleed. I could feel how deep it was piercing me and as the motorcycle dragged me further away from my team, I shouted like hell.
I was able to take a glimpse at the driver but still, I was uncertain if the gender was either a male of a female. He or she also didn't seem to care about me for he or she continued to drive endlessly without pausing. The driver only paused in the middle of nowhere, shrouded with trees of pines. It was a dark area, I think the driver brought me to a forest for not even I could sense the moonlight.
The driver parked her vehicle and went to me. He or she then pulled out the hook piercing my leg without even taking any precautionary measures as if the driver was eager to see me bleed. It was at that moment when the driver's identity was revealed when he or she threw his or her helmet on the snow.
I was stupefied, seeing Jenny for the countless times. Well has she been following me? For every region I've been through I would always see her.
"Long time no see, Jenny." I greeted sarcastically, trying to stand up but then with her foot she pinned me back to the ground. She was pinning me so tightly, I could barely breathe.
"I've been looking for you for so long and here you are at Snowpoint City. For your information, Team Galactic was my prey and you came to interrupt."
"So you were trying to shoot me! This was your bullet!" I yelled, showing her the bullet from my pocket.
"Of course, I haven't taken my revenge yet." she pulled me up from the ground and bashed my back on the nearby pine tree. "You're a murderous idiot and this time it's my turn to claim revenge for killing my sister." she blew a punch at my abdomen as I stumbled to the snow because of this.
"I didn't do anything. She killed herself." I spat blood out while trying to explain. I could hardly breathe.
"You think I'll believe you?! I risked my job just for you and finally, the moment I've been waiting for has finally arrived." then she picked me up again, holding me by the neck and slowly tightening her grip on it.
"You've gone insane, Jenny." she neglected my words, clenching her left fist. She then blew a punch on my face as she released her grip from my neck. That was just not any ordinary punch. Her rubber gloves had spikes on the knuckles and those were the ones that went to my cheeks.
"You made do this. We would've been friends if you've never killed my sister!"
"I didn't do anything to her. She pulled the trigger of the gun."
"I'm doing believing in your lies." she proceeded with a powerful kick. I could've fought but if it wasn't for the hook that pierced my leg... Because of this, my pace got slower as I exerted all efforts just to stand.
"I may be a liar but I'm telling the truth this time."
"Ever heard of the boy who cried wolf?!" she wouldn't stop kicking me as if she was confident enough to end my life for good. The once white snow is now painted in my blood flowing throughout the wounds cloaking my body.
"Well, if you wanted to fight you could've just told me! You didn't have to use a hook to tell me." I was having a difficult time breathing though I remained sarcastic. I tried standing for the last time but my spine was too feeble after being bashed at the timber of a pine tree.
"You didn't have to kill my sister for this to happen." another fist was heading towards me when suddenly Jenny was shot in the leg. It was one of those Team Galactic paralyzing guns that electrocuted her. From the distance came Zeal, the one who shot Jenny in the leg. She must've stolen it from the base.
"Luna?!" Charlotte rushed to me with pity and concern. She was stunned by the wounds encompassing my body. Alongside Vizion and Copper, they aided me to stand by holding my arms and supporting me when I walked.
"You're that officer!" Zeal grumbled and shot Jenny another time but this time in the pelvis. This further intensified the pain Jenny was feeling.
"Come on, let's get out of here." Zeal then tilted to us.
"Take your time Luna, there's no need to run. It's not like she's going somewhere else important. She'll have to remove those bullets first." said, Charlotte who was glaring at Jenny. Those who knew her like Zeal and Charlotte were shocked to see Jenny's demeanor changed. Trust me, I'm as shocked as they are.
