EPISODE 52: A Reunion Like No Other (The third and Final Part)

"Y-you lied to me?" my voice stuttered. Jenny did not reply, she was speechless, surrounded by two women who were both angry at her.

"I just thought... I wouldn't have any friends if I told you the truth so I kept it from you, Luna.

Courtney, please do not do this. Team Magma is up to no good. Do you think Groudon with help the world be a better place?! Worse! I've researched everything Courtney. Whoever Maxie is, he seems genuine when in fact is an idiot. Do expect Groudon to obey a creature less superior to it?! For Pete's sake, Groudon is a deity! It is superior to men, superior to us. One powerful blast might burn the whole region." Jenny addressed both of us.

"There is nothing you can do about it, big sister. Hee hee, Leader Maxie's dream will be a reality and I won't let anyone keep it as a fantasy. Fight me, and I will prove how loyal I am to him."

"I'm not. I've been fighting you for many years, and I'm tired of hiding who I really am. Perhaps, I must admit." Her voice declined as she muttered, "I was trying to be rambunctious and all when in fact this is how I am. I'm sorry Courtney."

"Great. So, um... I guess your family mystery is solved. I'm heading back to Slateport City." I uttered with an expressionless face when deep inside me is boiling rage for Jenny. She should be lucky I spared her for now at least including her sister. I was walking away, not daring to look back when suddenly someone from behind hugged me. It was Jenny.

"I'm sorry to Luna."

"You're lucky we had a truce. If not, you're dead meat." I mumble back, releasing her grip from me as I walked further. Suddenly, we heard a buzzing battle over the distance so I and Jenny decided to return to Courtney.

Oh my. I walked away for merely a minute with Jenny following from behind and when we returned, Courtney was fighting with an admin from Team Aqua, Shelly. Their battle was intense, and I wondered if it probably started when the two of them locked into each other's eyes. So this is how immense their rivalry is towards each other.

"Ah! So even I, Team Aqua Admin Shelly, have been made a fool. …Fine! You Team Magma brat who don't know how to watch your mouth must be punished! I won't forgive you if you cower in fear either! Wahahaha!" Shelly exasperated as the battle between them raged forth.

"Don't. Get. In. My. Way." mocked, the admin of Team Magma. Both Camerupt and Sharpedo clashed to the very end while me and Jenny watched in the distance.

"We have to help Courtney."

"That is your problem, not mine."

"Please Luna, you said we had a truce."

"The deal was I help you solve the case of your family! It's finished, and the deal is done. Go help her, is she not your sister?"

"Yes she is but Luna, don't go yet. I know the only reason your leaving is because I lied to you. Now that you know the truth about me, will you please accept who I truly am?"

"Team Magma and Team Aqua, let the fight like two chickens in a cockpit arena. Look how childish they act, thinking that the dream they long for will ever happen. Just look at how they fight, both are making a fool out of themselves.

They have their own purpose, I, as an Elite Operative have one too. We only bother them when they bother us first."

From the fight arose an intervention when suddenly a tired-looking woman walked from the grass to Shelly. It was a woman who had a bob-style short hair with glasses. The pigment of her air is violet and just by the way she walked, I realized who she was.

"You imbecile! You left me in the city with the leader's coffee to carry?!" The woman complained.

"Not now. I still have a bigger fish to fry. Sharpedo, use...!"

Seeing the woman, I flinched and remained stagnant. Beside, Jenny tried to shake my body, earnest to awaken me back to reality. I did not notice her but continued staring at the infuriating woman. I thought she was dead but it turns out I was wrong after all.

The very same woman who scolded me for arriving late, the very same woman who acted like an authoritarian. Goal-oriented, she will accomplish her goals at any cost, no matter how reckless her methods are. She is a cold, harsh woman. She is loyal and faithful to Giovanni during the evil schemes of Team Rocket. Who could it be but the infamous secretary? Matori. Seeing her, my world is completely up for a shuffling.
