CHAPTER 53 – POKEMON THE MOVIE: HEROES LATIOS AND LATIAS (PART FOUR)

On the night after Bianca accompanied our heroes to the Pokémon Center.

The two girls from Team Rocket who had been monitoring Ash all day were jumping from roof to roof in a particular direction.

Meanwhile, our favorite Team Rocket trio, Jessie, James and Meowth were watching the scene.

"It looks like we're going to have to follow them across the rooftops" - Meowth said.

"Well, for me it's no problem, I was always a good gymnast" - James said.

"Well, let's go to the charge!" - said Jessie.

"Let's go!" - said James and Meowth.

The three began to quickly follow the two girls, and at first they were fine, without any problem, but the girls were very nimble and following them became very difficult until finally what everyone knew was going to happen happened, they fell from the roof, the good thing is that they managed to stop their fall in time thanks to a lamppost that seems to be there.

"Uff, we are safe" - Meowth said.

But he could not say anything more because the weight of the three caused the lamppost to break and fall to the ground.

"TEAM ROCKET HAS BEEN BEATEN AGAIN...!" – but they couldn't finish the sentence as they crashed to the ground.

Luckily the height was not much and they did not suffer any damage, only the fright.

With the girls again.

They had arrived at the garden where Bianca's grandfather was working in one of his canoes, at least until a Speon arrived.

"Wow, who are you? I don't know you" – said the grandfather.

But before he could say anything else, Espeon attacked him causing him to fall to the ground fainting.

"Very well done Espeon" – said the blonde.

"The party begins" – said the silver-haired woman.

Then both entered the garden, there were both Latios and Latias there sleeping.

The girls tried to enter quietly, however, they were immediately detected by Latios who attacked them without saying anything.

"¡Espeon uses Psybeam!"

Espeon used his attack, but the invisibility of Latios gave him the advantage and he could not hit the attack.

But the girls did not seem to be discouraged by this and simply put on glasses, which allowed them to identify the position of Latios without any problem.

"Espeon, is there use Psybeam!"

Espeon attacked using a powerful Psybeam that almost hit Latios.

"We're close, use Swift"

Latios tried to dodge the attack, but hit it squarely suffering damage.

"¡Ariados use String Shot!"

Ariados' attack hit Latios squarely who fell directly to the ground.

"Lat!" - shouted Latios.

Upon hearing the cries of Latios, Latias woke up and seeing the situation, tried to help his brother, however, Latios shouted as if indicating not to come, to go get help.

"Tias!" – denied Latias.

"Tios!" - said Latios.

"Enough talk, Ariados uses Night Shade"

"Espeon use Psychic"

But just as both attacks were going to hit Latias, Latios got in the way receiving both attacks for her.

"Tias!" - said Latias.

"Tios!" - said Latios.

Latias hesitated, but flew away leaving the girls and Latios behind.

"Very well and now the Jewel of the Soul" – said the silver-haired woman.

After a couple of minutes of searching they found the Jewel and kept it.

They then checked the soil murals for information.

"Are you sure about this?" – asked the blonde.

"Yes, and surely the reason they do not use the jewel is due to an absurd legend ... well here I have it" – said the silver-haired woman.

"What does that stone slab say that I have already seen in the book?" – asked the blonde.

"It's in an ancient language, luckily I can decipher it, let's see... It says that the defense mechanism should only be used in case of danger and as a last resource since it will cause all the water to be removed destroying the same jewel of the soul" – explained the silver-haired woman.

"The water thing doesn't matter, but we have to make sure we don't destroy my precious jewel" - said the blonde.

"OUR jewel, besides as I said before sure that everything is an invention so that nobody starts that mechanism" – said the silver-haired looking at the jewel.

Then both left taking a semi-unconscious Latios with them.

Meanwhile elsewhere, Latias kept looking for something.

In the garden a while after the girls left.

"You were right, Grandpa, It's not there" - said Bianca.

"I suspected it," said Grandpa.

"Should we let them know to help us?" - asked Bianca.

"No, they have nothing to do with this" - he denied.

"Maybe I should have heeded Ash's warning and taken it more seriously" - Bianca said.

"Don't worry, now is not the time for regrets," said the grandfather.

"You're right, but we must go to the museum now" – nodded Bianca.

"Walking" – Grandpa nodded.

In the museum.

The two women had arrived together with an already unconscious Latios, which Ariados deposited in the center of a kind of drawing of a sun.

Suddenly, the drawing lit up a greenish color and Latios began to float with circles of metal (or so it seemed) floating around him.

"It works" - said the one with the blonde hair.

"It looks like that" - nodded the silver-haired one.

At that very moment, the metal claws that wrapped around the Defense Mechanism were removed, revealing the machine completely free of ties.

"Perfect, just like in the book, now there is only one last thing to do" – said the silver-haired woman.

But at that moment, Bianca and her grandfather walked through the door and saw in alarm what the two women were doing.

"What are you doing?!" – said the grandfather alarmed.

"Wow, with you have light sleep, but it doesn't matter, it can be solved, Espeon, Psychic" – said the blonde.

Espeon attacked and knocked both unconscious on the ground from the attack.

"Well, and now that they've shut up, let's see..." – said the silver-haired woman walking towards the machine.

Then he placed the jewel on a kind of pedestal, which caused the machine to activate and start moving strangely.

"Hahaha, yes!" – said the silver movie.

At the same time.

Latias found the Pokémon Center where Ash and the girls were staying and entered through an already open window.

With Ash.

I woke up in the middle of the night and as I suspected, Latias had already entered through the window, which I left open on purpose to enter, I must say that I am following the film rather because I do not know what would change if I changed it, anyway, I already have a plan to avoid the death of Latios, so in the end it will be a happy ending, don't worry about it, why let him suffer then, instead of stopping his plans before they carry them out? Well, to be honest, have you ever had the feeling that there is something you should do yes or yes, as if something or someone pulled you on a specific path? I know it sounds strange, in fact, I wanted to help too, however, something told me that I should let the original story continue and save Latios at the right time.

As for what that feeling is, I wouldn't be able to say it, but I knew it was what I should do, that's all.

*Note: this is not because I want to, everything has its reason and in later chapters it will be revealed that what is that "feeling" that I assure you makes all the sense in the world and you will understand why the actions of the protagonist, normally I do not like to give spoiler, but there are always people who will ask questions or insult the protagonist for not having avoided the tragedy if he already knew, That is why I make this, so that you know that everything has its reason and will be revealed in later chapters.

Latias entered through the window already transformed into human form and "woke me up", I say this because I was already awake.

"Latias what's wrong?" – I asked.

Although I already knew it, I can't let you know.

Listening to me, all the girls and even Pikachu woke up from their sleep and we sat down to talk to see why Latias had come here in the middle of the night.

"I see... Don't worry, we'll help you" - I said.

Latias nodded and hugged me, almost crying... This made me wonder why that feeling didn't let me intervene? If I had helped beforehand, Latias would not have to go through this, the only thing I know is that, if someone or something intervened in my decision, that someone or something will pay dearly.

Back at the museum.

Bianca and her grandfather had been imprisoned by Ariados' attack to prevent any escape attempt on their part.

"Latios, open your eyes, so Latias can see what's going on, Latios please!" – Bianca pleaded.

Answering their pleas, Latios awoke and looked around in confusion as the two women climbed into a kind of capsule that the same machine offered them.

In the end she only raised her silver hair because there was only room for one, however, she began to handle a screen that had emerged in front of her.

"Well, let's ask for reinforcements first" - said the silver-haired.

"Are you crazy or what?! You're going to destroy the whole city!" – said the grandfather angrily.

"Kabutops, Aerodactyl, wake up" - said the girl.

Suddenly, the fossils of the museum began to glow and from them came a Kabutops and an Aerodactyl completely revived, however, it seemed out of itself, they were not revived as they would on Cinnabar Island, but something else, something very strange.

Meanwhile, Ash and the others were seeing everything that was happening through the eyes of Latios himself and thanks to the connection that Latios and Latias shared.

"It has revived fossils" - Nancy said.

"Those are the fossils that that evil trainer used, but they look a little different" - Verity agreed.

"That's right, I've seen a fossil resurrection process before on internet and the resulting Pokémon didn't look like that, it's like they've been revived badly" - Koharu nodded.

"Damn, I think we're in trouble" - Ash said with a drop of sweat.

And indeed what I feared most happened.

"Please don't do it, think about what you're doing" - said Grandpa.

"Go ahead guys, bring me that Latias" – said the silver-haired.

Aerodactyl and Kabutops roared and hurried off to find Latias.

Meanwhile with Ash.

These had returned to their room, although theoretically they never left, the problem is that the connection between Latios and Latias was cut and that weakened Latias a little.

"Are you okay Latias?" – I asked with concern.

"Lat" - Latias nodded.

"Well, what are we supposed to do now?" - asked Nancy.

"I don't know, but we can't just keep our hands crossed, we're in danger, those two fossils are heading here" - Verity said.

"And not only us, but all the inhabitants of this city are in danger" – I said somewhat nervously.

In the museum again.

The silver-haired girl smiled.

"Hahahahaha, from here I can handle the whole world if I wish!" – he laughed evilly.

Then the sphere was raised and the girl handled the screen again.

"Starting to close the whole City, hahahaha, we'll see where you can flee!" – said the silver-haired girl.

With Team Rocket again.

"We'd better get out of here" - Jessie said exhaustedly.

"Do you remember where we left the boat?" - asked James.

But then, the three of them saw her.

"Yes, there it is!" - said Jessie.

"Arrivederci!" – said the three.

However, due to the closure of the City, the streets were closed with a kind of fence leaving them enclosed.

But that was not the only street, all the streets of the City were constantly being closed.

"No intruders!" – said the girl in the museum.

And the streets continued to close but with even more security than before, they were now closed with three layers instead of one.

With Ash.

We were seeing how all the streets were continuously closing, I didn't remember this part of the movie to tell the truth.

"Are the streets closing?" - asked Verity confused.

"What's going on?" - asked Koharu.

But before I knew it, my window was also closing so without thinking I threw myself into the water, after all if we stay locked up we will not be able to do anything, besides I threw myself reflexively.

"Ash!" – said the girls.

"Don't worry, I'm fine, Latias and I will get ahead of ourselves!" – I said as I surfaced.

"Good luck, we'll try to get out of here and go to the museum!" - said Nancy.

"Well, we're leaving!" – I said as I left with Latias.
