CHAPTER 21 – POKEMON, THE MOVIE (PART TWO) (Fixed)

With Ash.

The hologram of what appeared to be Nurse Joy spoke.

"Greetings Pokémon trainers, I bring you an invitation, you have been chosen to join a select group of Pokémon trainers in a special meeting, organized by my teacher, the best Pokémon trainer in the world, in his New Island Palace, a special ferry will leave from a pier in Vermilion City to take you to the island this afternoon, only coaches who present this invitation, will be admitted, if you decide to attend, you must answer immediately, my teacher is waiting for you" – explained the supposed nurse Joy.

And then it disappeared.

"What do you think, should we attend?" – I asked the girls.

"Obviously, I want to see the person who proclaimed himself the best trainer in the world" - Nancy nodded.

"Plus it'll be pretty fun, so why not?" – Verity nodded.

"I'll go with you too, of course" - Leaf added.

Well, there's just one problem here, and I know where this leads and who is the "best trainer in the world", Mewtwo, a Pokémon created from the DNA of the Singular Pokémon Mew, and I also remember perfectly that this was the first movie, which by the way, I saw a long time ago so I do not remember it perfectly, but if I remember a part, the issue here is that this is not an anime and much less in a movie, plus I also remember that Ash played a key role in the movie that, in the end helped Mewtwo understand that the cloned Pokémon were the same as the normal ones, so I have no choice but to accept.

"Then let's pick things up and go to the port" – I nodded.

When we went to the port what we saw was a lot of coaches, I bet what you want that were also invited, the problem is that the storm did not let the ship sail.

"How is it not going to sail?" – asked a young man.

He was a slightly fat young man, with brown hair and a blue vest.

"Well, because there is a storm that prevents navigation, that's why" - said agent Mara.

"Ha, I don't care, I'll go by myself, my Pokémon are water type, it will be a piece of cake!" – said the boy.

"Then I'll go too, I have a Pokémon that can take me flying!" – said another.

This was a young man with blue hair and orange clothes.

"I also have a water Pokémon that can take me" - one girl nodded.

"They can't go, the storm is too strong, the legend also talks about it!" – said another blue-haired girl next to agent Mara.

"So it was true?" – asked the agent Mara surprised.

"Of course, years ago there was a storm that took the lives of many people, I strongly recommend that you do not go to New Moon Island," said the woman.

"As if that's going to happen, I'll go on my own" - said the guy in the blue vest.

"And me" - said the one in the orange clothes.

"Me too" - said the girl.

The girl had brown hair and blue clothes.

Despite the insistence of Officer Jenny and the other woman, many of the trainers ignored it and used their own Pokémon to go to the island, I could see a Gyarados and a Blastoise disappear into the distance.

When we were weighing what to do, what I expected came, Team Rocket was in disguise and waiting with an unreliable boat in the harbor, besides, they seemed to be waiting for us because they called us right away.

"Excuse me, I couldn't help but hear that they need to go to an island, but that the ferry doesn't leave for obvious reasons" - James said, pointing to the rain.

"Sure enough, the storm has made us unable to go" - I nodded.

"No problem then, as you can see, here we have a boat that can take you" - Jessie said, pointing to her boat.

But at that moment, Nancy and Verity grabbed me and whispered to me.

"You realize they're Team Rocket, right?" - asked Nancy.

"Of course, their costumes are pretty obvious" - I nodded.

"Then why do you talk to them like you don't know them?" - asked Verity.

"Well, because there's an incredible storm and nobody wants to take us to the island, at least we have a way to go, so let's pretend we don't know them" - I replied.

"Excuse me, but did I hear that they are Team Rocket?" - asked Leaf.

"That's right" – I nodded.

"What are we waiting for then? We have to call Officer Jenny" - Leaf said.

"Wait, they can take us to the island" - I said as I grabbed his arm.

"But I have a Lapras, it could very well carry us" - Leaf added.

"We don't know if your Lapras could take us, the storm is too strong and we can't risk something happening to it" - I denied.

"Okay, we'll go with them, but if they try anything, be careful" - Leaf nodded.

Then I turned to "Team Rocket" and smiled.

"We have decided to accept your offer, how much do you want in return?" – he said with a smile.

"Nothing, we just do it to help, come, go up" - James said.

Without further delay, the four of us boarded the boat, which was a little larger than the original, enough for two more people and set sail for New Moon Island.

How did we know the location? The hologram had a map that I showed James and Jessie and they headed for the island.

It didn't take long for what I expected to pass, the storm was terrifyingly strong, the waves were huge and it was raining down to seas, the hurricane wind making it even harder.

"Watch out, a wave is coming, hold on tight!" – James warned.

But the wave was too big and caused the boat to break and we shot out to sea.

"Lapras, I choose you!" - exclaimed Leaf.

"Phione, help me pick up Nancy and Verity!" – I said.

Phione got out of his Pokéball and went out to find Nancy and Verity while I also tried to look for them my way while staying close to Leaf's Lapras, luckily, Pikachu managed to get on the Lapras in time.

Soon, Nancy appeared clutching her Quaxly and Phione managed to find Verity and brought her in.

"Get on, quick!" – hurried Leaf.

We all nodded, I took Phione and Pikachu and sat on the Lapras, the girls also sat down while Nancy put her Quaxly on her lap.

"Lapras, please take us!" said Leaf, stroking Lapras.

"Pras!" – nodded Lapras.

It was not very difficult to arrive, to tell the truth, pulling everything forward in the end you ended up seeing the island without any problem.

By the way, we also tried to help Team Rocket, however, we did not have time and we did not find them either, but when it comes to them, they would arrive in their own way.

The island was practically a gigantic mansion, luckily, there was a kind of port, where the supposed nurse Joy was waiting.

"Lapras, come back" – said Leaf returning Lapras to his Pokéball.

The so-called Nurse Joy came forward when she saw us.

"The pass please" – he said without any hint of emotion in his voice.

I nodded and gave her the pass, to which she nodded.

"Well, please follow me" - he said as he turned around.

"Are you sure you're not Nurse Joy? The truth is that I've been thinking about it since I saw you in that hologram and you're practically the same" – Nancy suddenly.

"No, I have always been here in the service of my master and I never left this island, now follow me," he said as he began to walk.

On the seabed.

A creature known as Mew awoke from his sleep, looked up and gestured while emitting a small scream.

Soon, another smaller Mew appeared.

"Mew!" - said the adult Mew.

"Mew!" – nodded the little one.

And the latter flew out of the water.

On the other hand, Team Rocket somehow arrived on the island after Ash and the others had already left.

With Ash.

"Nurse Joy" guided us to the supposed place we had to go, to tell the truth, it was a bit sinister, the stairs, and even the huge black door we had to enter.

When we passed through the door, we saw a huge hall with numerous rather expensive decorations, in the center, there was a table, where three trainers were sitting with one of their Pokémon next to them, namely a Wigglituff and a Pidgeot.

"Now that we're all here we can start" - said the supposed nurse Joy.

"Start? If there are only three, in the port there were more than 10" – Verity said confused.

"Only those trainers capable of passing through the storm are worthy of seeing my master" - replied the supposed nurse Joy.

"Kind of a test, curious..." – Nancy said.

"Now if you are so kind as to release your Pokémon from your Pokéball and wait, my master will soon delight us with his presence" - said nurse Joy.

With Team Rocket.

"Great, the door is locked, how are we supposed to see what's going on inside if we can't get in?" – James said disappointed.

"Easy," Jessie said.

"Do you know any other entrance?" - asked Meowth.

"Sure, look there" - Jessie nodded as she looked at what appeared to be a conduit from which the water was coming out.

"And how do you think we'll be able to get through there?" - asked Meowth in surprise.

"And I know, imagine you're a Magikarp" - Jessie said while shrugging.

But suddenly, Jessie felt as if something was staring at him, yet when he turned he saw nothing.

"Come on, let's get going" - James said.

With Ash.

After taking out all our Pokémon, we headed to the rest of the trainers.

"How is it possible that it took you so long to arrive?" – asked the boy in the blue vest.

"We had some problems" - I replied.

"Well, I didn't have with me, my Pidgeot brought me, it was the safest route" - said the one in the orange clothes.

"I came with my Blastoise, it was a piece of cake" – said the girl.

Apparently, they all had quite strong Pokémon, the one with the blue vest, had Gyarados, Vaporeon, Tentacruel, Ludicolo, Palpitoad and a Clauncher.

The one in the orange clothes had a Pidgeot, a Leavanny a Ryhorn, an Amoongus, a Cherrim and a Skuntank.

And finally, the girl had a Lopunny, a Wigglytuff, a Heliolisk, a Lurantis, a Steene and a Passimian.

For our part you already know it so it is not necessary to mention it.

"By the way, what you have there is a Phione?" – asked the boy in the blue vest.

"Yes, why?" – I asked in confusion.

"I've been looking for one for a long time, can you tell me where you found it? They are very rare water Pokémon and I would like to have one" - said the boy.

But when I was going to answer, suddenly the light went out, and a kind of blue light came out of the ceiling, through the huge spiral staircase, through it, something or rather someone came down.

With Team Rocket.

This was passing through what seemed to be the sewers of that site, although it did not smell bad or there was sewage, only normal and running water.

The three of them were walking aimlessly, forward, hoping to find something, not noticing that someone was following them, that's right, our friend, little Mew was following them from behind, Meowth seemed to realize that something or someone was following them so he turned, but Mew became invisible and disappeared from anyone's sight.

Little by little they went deeper until they finally found a way out.
