Mudkip strengthening Plan- Complete!

Ace looked at Corphish and raised his brows, "Oh, you learned Waterfall?" Corphish patted his chest with his claws, "Cor!" Ash picked him up, "Good Job, Corphish!" he rubbed Treecko and Pikachu too, "You guys did great!"

Swampy looked at the time and smiled, "Well, hows about you come stay in my home for a while and dry off before leaving?" The group agreed and Brock looked at the large Mudkip that followed him, tilting his head, "Mud?"

Brock smiled at him, rubbing his head.

Ash leaned on Swampy, "Hey, old man… Can I catch a couple Mudkip?" Swampy laughed and said, "Negative!" Ash pouted, "What? Why not?" Swampy explained, "All these Eggs are from the Alliance, they will be going to Rookie trainers!"

Ace rubbed his chin and said, "What if I give you more Mudkip eggs?" Swampy asked in confusion, "You have Mudkip Eggs?" Ace nodded, "Oh… yeah… A LOT of em…" Swampy blinked and muttered, "Then I suppose it's not a problem."

Ace nudged Ash, who smiled happily, "Thanks, Old man Swampy!" as he ran off. Swampy waved and Ace asked, "Do you have an incubation room?" Swampy nodded, "Right this way."

Ace followed him with Brock as May and Max chased after Ash, "Wait Ash!"

Swampy brought them to the incubation room as Swampy explained how he operated here. Brock listened carefully, writing it down. Ace nodded occasionally and felt his plan was feasible…

He was checking the System as Swampy talked.

Now let's think about it here.

Mudkip, someone at Gamefreak definitely had a grudge against whoever made it. They gave it such booty cheek abilities. But if you want to make strong Pokemon and improve them, they can't be insane so…

Sap Sipper is out!

Mega Swampert+SapSipper=Invincible!

He wants them to be strong, not invincible!

Drizzle could be a good idea. It has Damp for the Hidden Ability, how useful is this? There's negative use! Even if you ask the enemy to use explosion, they'll tell you that they forgot that move and erased it from the Game data entirely using hacking skills.

Nobody uses Damp, okay?! I don't care how thematic it is! What are you going to do!? Make a BombSquad from Mudkips?! That'd be ridiculous! They don't have hands, how are they supposed to stop the bomb?

If you keep the Swift Swim on Mega Swampert, but have Drizzle on Swampert normally, then you can create a combo easily. Plus Swampert would be an Ace on Rain teams. You can set up and profit at the same time, who wouldn't use it?

As for Huge Power…

Well, you must be joking, buddy!

150 base in Mega Form, doubled to 300 is a bit insane. It's a starter Pokemon, not Mewthree!

Thinking about it, Drizzle is probably best. Don't look down on Drizzle, not wasting a turn on Set up is a huge advantage. If you don't bring a single Drizzle Pokemon on a Rain Team, you must be a troll, right?

Ace configured all the Eggs to have Drizzle/Swiftswim. Water Absorb is a good choice too, but you really can't beat the Drizzle/Swiftswim combo with just Water Absorb.

If Ace was really crazy, he would just put every ability as Wonderguard and then laugh. But obviously, that won't do. First of all, that was boring and secondly, he can only choose 1 Wonder Guard.

So Ace handed out a hundred Mudkip Eggs with Drizzle to Swampy, who was so shocked he nearly fainted! Swampy asked in disbelief, "You have so many eggs?!" Ace replied with a shrug, "I tried to breed a Shiny Mudkip, it never worked out. You're a professional Mudkip Breeder, they're far better in your hands."

Swampy was speechless, "A Shiny Mudkip??" Ace coughed, "Different Colored Mudkip…" Swampy looked at him strangely, "Why would you want one of those…" Brock shook his head and Ace rolled his eyes, "Don't worry, Swampy! Just take care of these little guys!" Swampy nodded and Ace added, "Maybe you can even keep a Male and Female to breed more. After all, this is my gift to you."

Swampy looked troubled but Brock nodded, "That's a good idea. Mr Swampy, we came to this place by accident, but if there's actual Thieves, then you'll need to protect your Mudkip, right? I'd suggest training a pair of Swampert for protection." Swampy sighed and smiled, "Thank you both, I'll think about it."

Ace shrugged and smiled, "It's not like anyone will say anything, so maybe it's not that dire. But Old man, really think about it, okay?" Swampy nodded and Ace touched a Mudkip egg, "It's so cute!"

[Infect Mudkip Egg with Pokerus?]

Ace confirmed and smirked. Soon the entire Hoenn will be infected with Pokerus!

As Ace and Brock were chatting with Swampy, Ash, May, and Max returned, seeing all the Mudkip eggs, "WOW!" Ace looked at Ash, who showed him two Baby Mudkips. Ace rubbed the two Mudkips.

[Infect with Pokerus? 1000BP each]

Ace chose immediately and rubbed them all over. The Mudkip chirped, "Mud Mud!" while rolling around. Ace laughed and squeezed them, they turned and squirted May with water, "I didn't even do anything…" Max pushed up his glasses, sighing, "Looks like Mudkips don't like you…"

May almost burst into tears, what did she do!?

At the end of the day, Ace didn't see Team Rocket at all. He closed his eyes and his lips twitched…

These guys knew he was here and decided to take a vacation until he left…

So… realistic!

He shook his head and turned back to Ash, holding the Mudkip. Ace touched them and changed one of them to Drizzle. The one for Ash, he thought for a while before his lips twitched and left it with Torrent.

With Ash's play style, he would probably proc Torrent anyway, there was no need to change. His style didn't fit with the Rain team. If anything, he only used rain for Thunder and Hurricane. Other than that, he didn't even think about it.

Luckily Swampy had a Pokemon Teleporter in his house.

Ash called Misty again and she answered happily, "Ash!" May leaned over and looked, making Misty's eyes twitch, "Who are you?" May snorted, "May. Ash's companion!"

Ace and Brock stood on the side, looking at each other. Swampy sighed, "It's good to be young!" Brock nearly exploded, what do you mean?!

In the end, after some sparks, Ash sent over the baby Mudkip with Drizzle, "Here, Misty. I caught a Mudkip for you." Misty looked at Ash with a gentle smile, curling her hair with her fingers, "You sure do think about me often, Ash…"

Ash scratched his cheek and nodded, "Anyway, I'll see you later. I gotta go." Misty got the Mudkip and waved, "Bye Ash!" Ash waved and hung up, as he turned around, he was faced with May's suspicious eyes.

He blinked in confusion, "Huh?" May complained, "You don't catch Pokemon for me." Ash was stunned and replied, "But Mudkip don't like you." May was speechless… what you said makes sense, I'm speechless!

Ash rubbed his chin, "But there could be some Pokemon that are good at competitions, we'll find some, May." May looked happy inexplicably as Brock sighed, biting his shirt!

Ace patted his shoulder, sighing, "This is a great pick-up skill, Brock. Remember that Frontier Brain, Lucy!" Brock paused and burst into flames, "Yeah! I got it!" Ace added, "Also, you have to watch out for friends, they don't speak for the person. If someone tries to block you from talking to a girl, then you just ignore them!"

Brock nodded and wrote it down as Ace continued giving him tips on picking up girls, even though the only girl he's ever picked up basically picked herself up for him… Or maybe… she picked him up?

Anyway, there was experience of watching videos on how to pick up girls from his last life when he was 12! Of course, he learned after that these were not useful at all…

At any rate, after giving Brock some tips, he looked at everyone and brought them back to the beach as Brock took the Big Mudkip with him.

When they arrived, Ace decided to say goodbye.

Ash looked at him and sighed, "You're leaving, already?" Ace smiled and nodded, "If I don't go back now, the Gym Inspector will actually murder me." Max wiped his glasses, "Mr Ace, when I become a trainer can I come to your Gym?"

Ace rubbed his head, "If Norman doesn't mind you going to Sinnoh, sure." he looked at May, giving her a thumbs up, "Train Hard, May. I know you can be a great Coordinator!" May smiled and nodded, Ace turned to Brock, "As always, Brock. Take care of them for me."

Brock nodded with a smile, "Of course." Ace looked at Ash and stretched out a fist, "If you don't win this conference, don't call me Teacher!" Ash chuckled and bumped fists with Ace, "I'll win, I promise!"

Ace nodded and rubbed his head, handing him a booklet. Ash took the book and Ace smiled, "That's my personal Training advice. Don't copy everything in there… Most of it is based on Dragon Pokemon. Just take what you need and put your own feelings into it. If you want to surpass me, Ash, you have to train your Pokemon your own way, you know? But maybe this will give you some ideas."

Ash held the book and nodded seriously, "I got it, Teacher!" Ace rubbed his nose and nodded, "Good boy! I'll be waiting for you in Oreburgh!" as he jumped up, landing on Noivern, who swooped under him, flying off into the sky, disappearing in an instant.

Ash and his group waved goodbye as May sighed, "You have a nice Teacher, Ash." Ash smiled and nodded, "Yeah." before turning around, "Now, let's do some high intensity training before challenging Brawly again!"

Drizzle is probably the best. Unless obviously you put Sap Sipper... Or if you're really just mental and do As One with Huge Power+Sap Sipper... But then again, that's just a bit too OP...
