However, this was just a short episode.

Elesa continued to stay at Ace's house for the next week!

She just came to see him after all, she was still very busy!

As for Roark, Byron was training him and handed him his 'Starter Pokemon', a Cranidos. His previous Cranidos was actually Byron's. But finally, Roark had his very own Fossil Pokemon.

Ace sent several Fossils to Byron, who revived them and sorted them out, handing over a Kabuto to Roark.

So, now, before even leaving Oreburgh to travel… Roark had a team of 5!

Cranidos, Hisuian Arcanine, Coalossal, Alolan Golem, and Kabuto.

At the end of the week, Elesa left sadly.

Ace waved goodbye and sighed, feeling a little uncomfortable. Elesa looked back and said "I'll be back soon, okay?" Ace nodded before saying, "Bah! Who wants you back?!" Elesa giggled and smiled sweetly as she flew away on Zapdos.

Ace sighed, clearly upset. Bea patted his back and said, "Well, all's well that ends well!" Ace's lips twitched and Bea hugged his arm, twisting, "Can you make dinner tonight?" Ace picked himself up and nodded, rubbing his chin, "What do you want to eat?"

Bea touched her cheek, "Hmmm… Grilled Farfetch'd? It has a lot of protein." Both Sirfetch'ds dropped their leeks in shock as Ace looked at her strangely, Bea looked at him in confusion, "What?" He shook his head and laughed, "Nothing. I can make something similar."

The Sirfetch'd looked at him with emotion.

Thank you… We don't have to be eaten!

There seemed to be a communication issue somewhere here…

Ace made Grilled Chicken which was actually a Gift reward from a while ago, but since nothing aged in the Sub-Space, it was still fresh!

Actually… it was still Farfetch'd!

After a nice meal, they went to bed.

Ace laid down when Bea walked into his room and jumped on him, hugging him tightly. Ace was dumbfounded, patting her back, "Are you okay? We haven't slept together since we were kids…"

Bea tightened her grip, "I have to leave tomorrow…" Ace was shocked and shouted, "What?! Why?!" Bea didn't answer and just mumbled, "Can I just stay here tonight?" Ace looked at her and sighed, rubbing her back.

He hugged her in his arms and stroked her back, "Sure. Is it the Dojo?" Bea nodded in his chest and Ace sighed, "That guy is getting old after all, he probably can't handle the apprentices himself…" Bea just stayed silent as Ace pulled over the covers, kissing her head, "It's gonna be okay, sis. I'll be fine here… Make sure the old man is resting, you know! That guy, if nobody stops him, he'll try and pull off moves that he couldn't do even when he was young!"

Bea trembled and made a 'pfft' sound as Ace smiled, "Plus, Mom told me once that he pulled a muscle trying to show off in front of her." Bea laughed as Ace continued with a strange expression, "Then she had to take care of him in the Hospital for 3 months!" Bea looked up and giggled with puffy eyes, "What? Hahaha!"

Ace wiped her tears and nodded seriously, "Oh, apparently after he pulled his muscle he was determined to show off and separated his shoulder." Bea burst out laughing and laid her head against Ace's chest in silence.

Ace fell silent, stroking her hair with a gentle smile as she closed her eyes, "Bro?" he smiled, "Yeah?" Bea smiled sweetly, "Thanks." Ace grinned, "Anytime." 

The next morning

Bea wiped her face and Ace smiled at her, "Alright, if people knew that the Famous Bea was able to cry, they'd be shocked, right?" Bea wiped her eyes, laughing, "Shut up!" she looked at him and her lips trembled, "I'll miss you!"

Ace hugged her and complained jokingly, "You make it sound like I'm dying! Aren't you just going home? Call me whenever you want!" Bea hugged him and nodded, "Okay!" 

Before she left, Ace gave her an Egg. Bea looked at him and didn't even ask where it came from anymore, saying sarcastically, "Another ruin, huh?" Ace's lips twitched and he rolled his eyes, "Just take it!"

Bea wiped her nose and smiled, stretching out her hand, "For Mom and Dad?" Ace was dumbfounded, "Do I look like a vending machine??" Bea nodded with a smile, making him speechless.

He grumbled as he took out a duffle bag, putting all sorts of things in it. He took out several books and said seriously, "These are for you, not for the Dojo! When you have cats, you can pass it on." Bea's lips twitched, "Cats?" Ace nodded seriously, "Well, you won't have kids, so-" Bea kicked him, laughing angrily, "Right!?"

Ace chuckled and handed over the duffle bag, "I'll see you around, sis." Bea smiled and him and nodded, "Love you." Ace smiled happily, "Love you too." Bea waved and left, looking back before wiping her eyes as she disappeared, heading into the Airport in front of them.

Ace watched her go and sighed as he patted Noivern, "Let's go back, buddy." Noivern growled sadly, Ace rolled his eyes, "Well, you'll see her again, don't worry." before getting on his back as Noivern flapped his wings, flying up and away from Jubilife.

As for what Egg?

Of course, Galarian Zapdos.

What? Favoritism? That's his sister, right?!

Anyway, after Bea left, Ace's days returned to constant practice. 

Slowly since his arrival, he accumulated training partners before they all left one by one.

Roark was preparing for his trip in 4 months. Byron was setting up to take over the Canalave Gym. Bea went back home…

Ace was running with his Pokemon, sighing to himself.
