Viridian shock

I was here at Viridian city gate, checking my things if they are for me to leave. Now that I remember I should call professor Oak and my uncle and aunt about my safe journey to Viridian city.

I first reach out to my home where I find only my aunt available. After describing my journey without any hitch I ended the call with her.

She was happy for my safe travels to the City and prayed before me to Arceus for my luck to not diminish. I guess a lot of people die on the journey, which is understandable. Pokemon are dangerous beasts and a trainer is just someone who tames them and makes them fight for him. The power of Pokemins is very tempting and if it weren't for the LEague's strong trainers, the world would have been one anarchy of sorts. I said my goodbyes and well wishes to them.

One thing I did was advise them to adopt a child to them. While this may seem a very sensitive topic for my Uncle and Aunt, they had me for 10 years as a son to them. They are in their later forties and they were already incapable of bearing children of their own.

A child makes a strong bond with old people in the world of living. It may look like I was comparing a child to a pet but their adoption would make four lives happier than they could ever be. The child gets loving parents, Uncle and Aunt get, well a child and they love children and I get a happy family.

Now back to contacting professor Oak. The telephone rang once. I tried again as my customs told me to when the phone has not been received at once. Now it was immediately picked up.

"Oh Ethan seems like you finally reached Viridian city, it is a strange thing your Pokemon profile has to been updated once, where are your new Pokemon?" the professor asked.

"No professor, I have not caught any Pokemon from the town till here, the ones I want to catch have to wait for some time, I just trained my Bulbasaur with wine whip and razor leaf repeatedly along the way" The professor did not show any disappointment towards my decision.

"Oh, so you already thought of your dream team? that's one way to be a trainer, Good, good." I then continued "On a different note, I just saw the legendary Ho-oh in the skies flying above the rainbow on the second day of my journey." Of course, I didn't but this would solidify Ash's claim when he explains a similar sighting. I do not see any downside to this lie, but this may have unseen benefits.

"What! you must be hallucinating. Trainers have searched for years behind Ho-oh's trail."

"I am sure of what I saw though." "Don't talk your fantasies with me, Young man" Ash's mother came behind the camera with some snacks with her Mr. Mime." Well, then I am busy at the moment with this Mr. Mime, I wish you best of the luck, Ethan." said professor Oak put his phone down.

Well, that was good, now to prepare for my journey forward.

In the evening.

A boy was riding with officer Jenny and in his hands was a hurt Pikachu, He hurriedly asked him to be taken care of after which he sat down with his companion, an orange head girl, They both looked tired and worn out.

After some time, nurse joy came out of the operating room to bring the good news that the rat was in good shape. Both were relieved t hear that and were then reprimanded by Nurse joy.

This boy was Ash from pallete town and the girl was Misty from the cerulean city. The Boy Asgh went to the phone service to inform his mother and Professor Oak about his travels. He then described his sighting of a golden bird flying across the rainbow which was met with silence by professor Oak.

Pikachu was now out of danger. I sighed noticing a hot air balloon with a Meowth face on it docked just above the Pokemon center There was some sound coming from inside.

james- And make it double!

james- To unite all peoples within our nation!

jess- To denounce the evils of truth and love!

james- To extend our reach to the stars above!

jess- Team Rocket blasts off at the speed of light!

I could hear the Team rocket monologue inside the Pokemon center from far away, the Exit gate of Viridian city to be exact. I had contacted Officer Jenny about the thieves being present at the Pokemon center.

I could go to help Ash and nurse joy but firstly it would come as a good bonding time between Pikachu and Ash. and secondly my visit there will have major demerits in the long run.

I would be making an enemy of Team Rocket, who while being weak and not powerful enough to beat the future me, would be very annoying.

I could beat them hundred times in hundred battles, it matters not because they just have to win one time against me to steal my pokemon. And in the future, nobody can tell if I won't have a weak moment, so lying low helps me. Plus I need to reach Pewter city fast as I had devised a plan that would vanish my monetary problems as well as my Pokemon problems.

With this, I left from the Viridian city exit gate, which was surprisingly unguarded. Looks like Officer Jenny had gone to the Pokemon Center.

I check Bulbasaur's stats, I had battled two Pokemon trainers in one day while I was here, both being victories given the trainers were rookies.

Oh, that reminds me of the Rookies tournament. Many of the Gym leaders made their debut through that. It would take place in four months' time, adequate for me to train three Pokemons.

(Don't worry, the chapters would be at least 1000 words without counting the system, it wont be used for fulfilling word count.)

I was a fan of Pokemon but not a fanatic to learn every move and such. I have great battle sense and I would be using that to win, so I am not filling it up with TM moves, just include one or two popular ones. Having many moves which I myself don't understand, much less use in battle would be idiotic.

I mean if my Bulbasaur has forty moves, what is the use when the mastery of leaving one or two aside all is shit. To the net city then, but first on Pokeblog.
