Viridian forest

I am walking in the night in the Viridian city, not a great idea but I am already far from the city so let's have a go while at it.

I do not want Bulbasaur to fight any more Pokemon, as that would force its evolution, which I planned to have after her move mastery had reached B- in all of the available moves.

I had told her to refrain from fighting and this trip to Pewter city served her move mastery upgrading trip.

According to my estimates, it would take five days to reach Pewter city at this rate, still two days earlier than what this Ash and Misty would take.

Now back to what we were doing. We had covered about a day's distance from Viridian city and were camping in the forest now. There was Bonfire, Bulbasaur in my lap and I was surfing the Pokenet for my plans.

We had walked the whole night, which was idiotic but who says you can't do anything idiotic once in your life?

Now to Pokenet, I had found a Totodile egg, its parents being two Gold grade Ferraligators, so it was bound to have a Gold or at least silver-rated Totodile emerging out of it.

It was priced at 90 million Pokedollars, a little pricy as Pokemon coming out of an egg was easy to form a bond with trainers, it would not betray and will have a jolly relationship with its tamer, so overall I would call it a good deal.

The thing is I don't have 90 million Pokedollars on me.

But now I had the means to earn that money. After my thought research of the currency and its worth in different parts of the world, I noticed the different prices of different pokemon here.

The Price of the Totodile egg is justified as it could very well evolve into a diamond-rating Ferraligator, which was a force to be reckoned with.

Similarly, squirtle a royal Pokemon of the Kanto region is pricey but not as much, which was surprising as they were in low numbers even in their native region.

Back to squirtle, I remember the Pokemon episode of Cinnabar island.

The episode hosted hundreds of Wartodle and a Blastoise on Cinnabar island which was unknown info to most till Ash reached there.

After researching the prices of Wartodle and Blastoises, which were lower than expected. A mere ten million for one Wartodle and a price of 20 million for a Blastoise was a very small price for a royal and that too for a third-evolution pokemon, but justified as taming them was more difficult than training a squirtle.

The total value of the island's pokemon was in the range of approximately one billion minimum to six billion Pokedollars, which was a lot but it was not meant for me. I mean I won't be going to catch them all and then start selling them, I don't have that kind of time, nor the manpower or individual power to catch them.

The better option was to sell this info, preferably to the League for money and incentives.

So I am now placing an ad for the same on the Poke blog. Most of the time when a 10-year boy posts this type of info, it would be ridiculed as a prank, but the weight of my information is very tempting to be thrown aside as a prank.

Most probably the League would compel me to sell the location, but I would also be outsourcing this to Team rocket for more money.

As an important Kanto Pokemon, the league won't declare Cinnabar Island as a Wartodle hunting zone but most probably catch them all to make them join their ranks or make them a prize for their many tournaments and matches. A similar action that Team rocket would take if they approach me with the money.

200 million is not a lot for this info and neither is a minuscule amount for it. But an adequate amount for me which would hasten my plans and get rid of the monetary side of problems while training and fetching my pokemon.

The sun is on the rise, my Bulbasaur, she was tired of training while at the camp for most of the night and so was I.

We continued our journey, but if I see a tavern or hotel here in the wild I won't shy away from taking a rest.

My sleep schedule should be improved, it is unhealthy for a ten- year old developing boy to lose sleep over nothing.

"Right Bulbasaur?"

"Bulbasaur?" She looked at me with a doubtful expression. I should not talk to myself this much.

"Come here." I picked her up, this comforts me when I have her in my hands, is the father complex speaking?

We walk for some more time while Bulbasaur continued practicing her Bulba song, which frankly is improving, it is good.

After much time, a small town was in sight, which should have what I require, most of the towns and cities are equipped with the daily necessities for trainers and other pokemon. I should restock food for Bulbasaur and for me.

At the hotel, I paid the receptionist, a cute girl for a room for one day. I would stay here only for a half but the minimum was a day stay.

We (Bulbasaur staying with me in my room) walked up the stairs to reach our room.

Man, I am tired.

"Bulbasaur let's have a rest while here, don't train for a day in anything, just rest," I said to her.

"Bulbasaur!" She nodded with relief. Was I that harsh of a trainer?

I jumped on the bed and in just a minute sleep came to me. Good night, oh it is 11 am, then good morning? Afternoon?

Whatever just sleep.
