"So, tell me something. How are two kids that are only seven years old able to kill so many Initiates and then act like it was just a normal day for them?"
Seduralto asked as she looked at the two boys in front of her. They looked like two normal kids and you would not think that both of them had just killed 21 people not that long ago.
The two just kept quiet.
"No, you are not going anywhere until you answer me."
She said, scolding them. Sheyken looked at her.
"Would you rather have wanted us coming to you crying and broken from the experience? Do you think we even know how to act after the morning we have just had?"
He asked her as he looked at her. She sat back in her chair in thought.
'That is true. I do not know how kids are supposed to act after experiencing that. I only killed my first human when I was 14."
"What happened in the village for you two to come out so skilled and fierce?"
She finally asked. Sheyken extended his hand as a gesture of wanting compensation for that information like she had done. He smiled as he looked at her. Falgur also smiled as he liked the slyness of his actions.
'This kid! using my trick back at me is playing plain dirty.'
Seduralto thought in resignation. She knew whatever she offered, Sheyken was not going to tell her anything. She looked at Falgur.
"So, mind telling me why your brother is dressed like that when you have legendary armor on?"
Sheyken looked at Falgur who was smiling from ear to ear after that question. He was already expecting such a question after resolving to wear Shadow.
"His master is still testing him."
Seduralto was panicking in her head now.
'So, there might be two powerful people in the village. I wonder when they got there.'
She thought.
"I would like to ask that for now you do not tell anyone about our masters or you will disturb the peace of our village. I answered many of your questions because I am putting my trust in you. I would hate for it to be broken."
Sheyken added.
'Is this kid threatening me? hahaha, he doesn't have to. I'm not the idiot who would want to be on masters of that level of power's radar.'
"No problem. You can trust me."
She said with a straight face.
"What do you do if you want to craft a weapon and armor here?"
Sheyken asked and She was happy to move on to something else.
"For normal armor with no special qualities, we have a blacksmith that can craft up to the second tier. For anything other than that we go to the capital as that is where the best smiths and craftsmen are."
Sheyken was pleased with her answer and Falgur was now on the same page as Sheyken on what he was trying to find out.
"Is there a private room that is bigger than this, I have something to show you?"
Seduralto did not know where he was going with this but she told them she had one and they would have to pass downstairs. They stood up to leave but she had a message in her communication diary. She told them to go wait for her by the counter and she would come down in a bit. They left her and Salina who had many questions undone her visibility spell. Seduralto told her to follow them and they would talk afterward.
As the two boys were downstairs, two of the adventurers were waiting for them by the counter and they had trouble written on their faces. Alati was not by the counter and seemed to be talking to someone at the back corner of the room by the request board.
"Hey, kid."
One of the men stood right in front of the boys. He was wearing casual clothes with the only thing striking about him being that he had wearing gauntlets on his hands.
"I will give you a mana stone for that armor you are wearing."
He said in a cocky tone like Sheyken had no choice. The two boys just looked up at him and they knew he was way more powerful than they were, but they could not tell what he was.
"Yeah, kid. If you know what is good for you, you would just give us the armor and walk away. I am sure you know how much a mana stone is worth right. You can live like a king for a year."
Sheyken looked at the other man and also felt the energy around him. It was wild and powerful. He was scrawny looking like the Initiates they had just killed but his face was intimidating. He had two lines of scars on his face going past his eye that looked to be normal.
Falgur tried to just ignore them and just walk past them. Sheyken followed his action but when he was almost past them, the man wearing the gauntlets grabbed his wrist. His hand ignored his defensive field like it was not there and he could not even react in time. Where the man had grabbed him, he had almost broken his bone as Sheyken's flesh was squished like the man was holding a marshmallow.
"Ahhhh!"
The pain of it all made Sheyken cry out involuntarily. His scream set Falgur's emotions flaring as the Lighting inside him sparked but before he could even move some kind of energy rendered him unable to. The man with scars on his face was looking at him like he was looking at a toy he was about to play with.
"Kid, it looks like we have a deal right."
The man holding his hand said as he put a mana stone in the hand that he was holding. The scream had made the adventurers close to them look at what the commotion was about.
One of the onlookers saw Salina undoing her invisibility spell as she slowly came into view after coming down the steps.
"Awe shit! Salina the berserker has shown herself!"
The man who saw her quickly said as he wanted to get out of the hall as soon as he could. The whole hall quieted down and everyone looked by the steps. People gulping could be heard all around as a woman in a ninja outfit slowly approached Sheyken. The windows closed together with the entrance door at the same time like a gust of wind had swept through the hall and shut them.
"Awe Shit!"
The same person who first saw her said, now knowing he could not leave the building.
"Fuck...."
The man holding Sheyken's hand said as he let go of it as Salina was now face to face with him.
"AHHH!"
A scream was heard and as soon as everyone heard it, they all tried to get as far away as they could from where it was coming from and only being stopped by the wall. Others tried to hide using the person closest to them.
The man who had screamed was none other than the same one that had been holding Sheyken. The hand that had almost crushed Sheyken's had been cut and was dangling with a piece of his flesh preventing it from falling off. He tried to hold it together with his other hand giving Salina free reign over his body as he could not protect himself.
A punch to his jaw sent him flying and crashing to the wall where the other adventurers were. They quickly scatted to prevent being hit by his body. The man quickly fainted thereafter.
Seeing this, the other man knew he had screwed up for following his friend's plan. He tried to quickly run but a wind blade cut both his two ankles. He fell down hitting a table. Salina then held one of his legs with one hand like she was holding an oversized branch. She swung him from side to side, hitting his whole body on the floor with every swing. After the seventh one, everyone looking on was wishing they had stayed away from the guild that afternoon. The scene was just brutal for even seasoned adventurers.
When she was done, almost all the man's bones were broken. She threw him at the wall and the adventurers scatted as the man bounced off it in full force with others thinking he was dead. She took a table with one hand and went to the man who had gauntlets not giving a damn that he had fainted. The table quickly broke apart after two hits on the man's skull.
With her blood starting to boil, it seemed she was not done yet as she grubbed two tables that were next to her.
"Salina! I think that is enough. If you continue, they might die."
Seduralto said as she calmly went to her and touched her shoulder. Salina was starting to breathe rapidly with her chest going up and down and her eyes looking like that of a bull. She put the tables down and calmed herself.
Seduralto looked at the adventurers who wished to be out of there at that point.
"What happened?"
Salina asked as she was leaving a message in her communication diary during the incident.
"They dared to touch and hurt an honorary guild member."
She said out loud so everyone could hear her.
"Honorary guild member?"
Some voices could be heard in the background asking.
Seduralto looked at Sheyken and Falgur. She saw that Sheyken was holding his left hand in pain and in that hand a mana stone. She quickly understood what happened. She was not surprised to see it quickly disappear from his hand like his Camorphiare had when he had finished showing it to her.
'Well, I did warn him that this would happen.'
Sheyken and Falgur had looked on in awe and admiration at the brutal beat down they had witnessed. They did not know the lady but she was their role model to them at that point.
"Are the two of you ok?"
"Seduralto asked.
"I'm ok. It will heal in no time."
Sheyken said while Falgur nodded.
'Heal in no time?'
She asked herself but put the question at the back of her head. She turned around to address the adventurers.
"Let me introduce you to our new honorary guild members, Sheyken and Falgur."
She said as the adventurers looked on still scared and surprised.
"As you know, you are to treat them as you would treat me or my father. So, laying a hand on one of them is like laying a hand on me or my father."
She said in a stern tone.
"Let us hope it never happens again as Salina had shown a glimpse of what would happen if you do."
She said as Salina stood next to her. You could hear some adventurers gulping and those who were wishing to get Shadow from Sheyken rejoicing that they had not acted on their greed.
"Alati, I am sure you can handle the rest."
Alati who was still hiding under a table finally showed herself and since she could not talk out of fear for that moment, she nodded her head. It made Seduralto smile as she looked cute when scared.
"You must take the two to the infirmary, I am sure they will recover in three months."
They then led the boys past the counter and into the door behind it.
"And you say you are scared of two boys when everyone one is scared of the sexy berserker."
Seduralto whispered in Salina's ear as they went inside, making Salina flinch as she hated the nickname. Sheyken was smiling from ear to ear to have gotten a mana stone just like that while Falgur could not help but hold his head, remembering it being struck by a pan as he looked at Salina.
