The start or endless trouble?

After the incident I took Blondys spatial ring and look for an inn to stay the night. Unfortunately another trouble is coming my way.

The reason I was confident and directly killed the pampered Young Master is because I have similar cultivation base with the City Lord and im at the peak Primordial Emperor. My strength should be the same if not stronger than the City Lord.

Worst come to worst I can always flee. What I didnt know is this is the start of endless trouble.

The City Lord is rapidly approaching the inn im staying. When I was about to lay down on the bed, I heard a shout from the outside. "You who killed my son. Come out!" I was shocked. That was fast he actually arrived faster than I expected, well ill go take a look outside.

Seeing the City Lord hovering in the air with ugly expression in his face. I knew that he will want to kill me no matter what thats why I come up and hover at the same height as him. "So youre the father of the scum?"

He did not reply and immediatly go for the kill. Unfortunate for him I can see through all his attacks I dont know why maybe its because of my cultivation manual. I seem to have purer energy than him even though we are on the same level im much more stronger than him.

I dodged all his attacks but eventually I got cornered since I lack experience. Seeing me cornered he smiles evilly

"Empyrean Flames!"

I took out my sword and use sword qi to neutralize the flames. Seeing me neutralize his flames shock him to the core he is after all a Primordial Emperor. After that he finally took me seriously.

We got into a stalemate for a few second then rush to each other. His eyes is fully of killing intent so I used one of the sword move I comprehend to attack him

"Sword Basics: Slash"

My moves maybe simple but its full of insight of the sword. I should be a peak swordsman in this world.

Sensing the danger the City Lord hurriedly dodges my attack. He may look like he simply dodges my attack but he sweating inside. "If I did not dodge that attack ill die"

If its not for the fact that I lack experience the City Lord would have been hack to death. We continue to exchange moves for atleast a thousand times. The onlookers are awe by the display of our might.

As time passes im getting the hang of it im slowly having the advantage. The City Lord realizing he is on the losing side and knowing that eventually I will defeat him decided to use his killing move.

"Empyrean Dragon!"

Suddenly a 200 meter Dragon made out of fire suddenly appear.

"Today is the the you will die. Go!"

Seeing the gigantic Dragon made out of fire coming to my direction I turned serious. I held my sword upward and yelled.

"GETSUGA TENSHOU!"

Instead of reiatsu like the one in Bleach I used my sword qi to perform this technique.

A blue crescent moon shape appear after I swing my sword downward.

It cut the massive fire dragon, it didnt stop there it slice through until it almost cut the City Lord. The City Lord barely manage to avoid it but it still cut his whole right arm.

He directly flee for his life and didnt even bother to say good bye. I didnt chase him tho.

Oblivious to the fact that I would regret my desicion later.
