The man threw his hand at the boy and when he saw it coming, the boy takes a step backwards, dodging it as fast as he could. Fortunately, the hand barely misses the boy by a few centimetres. The man's balance was broken because of this and he fell to the ground.
Abel now looks at him with his furrowed eyebrows and hand on the grip of his wooden sword, ready to unsheathe it anytime. He stands there as the man gets himself up from the ground and clean himself with his hand.
Crowds now are gathering around the place to watch whatever interesting event that is going to unfold upon their eyes. The man didn't bother to look around and charged straight toward the boy.
Abel unsheathes his sword as fast as he could when he sees the man charging toward him, he swings his sword toward the man. But the man stops right at the safe distance where the sword could hit him and the sword misses.
The man suddenly bows towards the boy with a respectful manner and with his head facing the ground, the man said with a loud voice, "I'm sorry m'lord for scaring you! Please forgive this servant of yours!"
Still, with his sword on his extended arm, the boy looks at the man expressionless, he wasn't expecting this, he mutters under his breath, "What just happens?"
But that muttering can be heard by the man, he continues his words with a louder voice than before, "I'm sorry m'lord, I was just extending my arm to help you on the bag behind you"
The boy turned his face enough for him to see this bag. It all makes sense now for him. But he was still confused about the identity of the man in front of him, "But why do you want to help me though? Do I know you in any way?"
The man raises his head to look at the boy for a few seconds and then quickly faces to the ground once again. He then answered the question of the boy, "Yes m'lord, I'm Rio, a gardener employed by your father, please forgive me once again if I scare you"
The crowd dispersed when the words of the man reach their ears. It was not a fight as they expected. Abel looks around for a second, then a light smile emerges out on his face. He slowly makes his way toward the man.
The man closes his eyes as tight as he could and then gritted his teeth, thinking about the boy, 'I screwed up, shouldn't have scared the young lord… whatever the punishment is, I'm ready to receive it'
All that thought was gone when he feels the light touch of the small hand of the boy on his shoulder. The man raises his head a bit and sees the boy looking at him with a light smile on his face.
Abel said to the man, "You did scare me, but it was nothing, let's just go to the residence, I have some business to do at home as soon as possible"
The man was speechless when he heard this, his mind suddenly plays some scene from the past. All of it was filled with the boy's ordering this and that and punishing the man, but when he saw the smile, he could feel a warm feeling at his heart.
He straightens his back and both he and the boy make their way to the residence of the boy's family. Soon, they reach the small front yard of his residence. Before the boy enters, he said to the gardener, "Hey Rio, may I trouble you to find some good blacksmiths? I need to make something"
The man bows once again to the boy and says, "I will do so m'lord, you can meet me here in 1 hour" the gardener then ran from the yard as fast as he could, leaving Abel alone there.
Abel calls for the mini guy, Abelard, "Abelard, Abelard, I'm going on a bathroom break, see you in 3 hours" the boy logs out at the game to get some bathroom break.
…
3 hours later in the game.
Abel logged into the game and instantly saw the gardener waiting for him right there. As soon as he saw the boy appears in front of his eyes, Rio bowed once again toward the boy and said, "m'lord, the blacksmiths are ready"
A smile emerged out on his face and the boy asked the gardener, "Can you lead me there?" To which the gardener responds with a short, "As you wish m'lord"
2 minutes later, the boy finds himself in a building. There are 5 blacksmiths, standing idly in front of their anvils. Behind them are some furnaces attached to the wall with blazing hot fire inside of it.
The boy was amazed by the sight. He looks around while still staying at his position. Rio then said to him, "M'lord, what are we going to make today? Weapons or toys maybe?"
The boy's astonishing looks are gone in a few seconds when he heard the man's word, he cleared his throat with a simple cough and said to Rio loudly, "Make me some set armour, I need them ready by two days, I need 42 of medium armour made out of metalwork, 48 leather armour and 8 pieces of elite sets of armour"
The man looks at the boy in disbelief about this for a few seconds. He then looks at the 5 blacksmiths that are looking at the boy in disbelief as well. He suddenly faces the boy once again and said, "As you wish m'lord, your order will be ready in 2 days"
All the blacksmiths there sigh but maybe Abel was too distracted to notice the sighs. He gives the gardener a smile and says, "Thank you, Rio, I would be grateful, expect rewards you will get later!"
Without letting the gardener having a chance to respond, the boy walks out from the building, leaving all the people there. He then thinks about his next destination while on the street, 'I think I got the armour, what are the things that the elves will need at the invasion…'
Bump!
The boy wasn't paying any attention to the surrounding and hit a wooden signboard placed right in front of a building with his right leg and loses his balance. His body made a quiet thump sound when he falls to the ground, but despite the busy street, no one's there to help him.
They all look at him as they continue to walk to their own destination, the boy stares at them when he was on the ground and curses at his luck, the people and the wooden sign. He gets himself up and quickly cleans all his clothes with his hand.
Abel then kicked then the wooden sign and was about to went to another direction but was stopped when he noticed the symbols at the wooden sign. There are several symbols on it, a wizard hat, a long cane, books and the one that caught his attention the most, the symbol of a bottle filled with weird coloured liquid.
A light bulb appears on his mind as he thinks about what happens, 'Maybe it's not a disaster for me to fall because of this stupid board, maybe it's a blessing! Where's the store that sells the potion, would be a great help for me and the elves!"
He then finds the store not long after, the doorway is right in front of him this whole time and without wasting a minute, the boy enters the store. The first thing he sees are a counter right in front of the doorway with a clerk behind it, there's a door beside the counter and a chair right in front of the counter.
He makes his way there and places himself on one of the many chairs, the clerk immediately says to him as he sits on the chair, "Do you have the money to buy the things here? Go away kid, we don't give away free things here!"
Abel was speechless and expressionless when he heard the clerk saying this to a potential customer. He responded to the clerk, "But sir, I want to buy some potions sir, can you even let me look at the options available?"
The clerk looks at the kid while he raises his eyebrows, his eyes go up and down like examining the boy's look. When he was done, he let out a sigh and says to the boy, "Still no, I know you are poor, even if you want to buy a potion for your father or mother, I won't give you a discount!"
Abel had enough and slams his clenched fist on the table, making a loud thump sound that shocks the clerk. Then he says to the clerk with a voice of him trying to intimidate the clerk, "Dude, if you don't show me the potions, I'll make sure you will lose your job by tomorrow and won't find another job!"
The clerk was not intimidated by him, instead, he said to the boy, "Boy, stop your bluff and threat before I call the guards on you, you will regret it when the guards take you to prisons!"
"Is there any problem? Derrick!" The voice of an old man can be heard coming from the other side of the door right beside the counter and when the door opens, it reveals the source of the voice.
