Little did he know that despite the ear-piercing scream she let out, she was going to bolt away from there. The sudden pain that attacked his entire body the moment he held her hand was crippling. He expected to feel pain, but not this much. This was beyond every pain he had felt, even the one he felt when she had attacked him with her glowing palm when they first met.
However, apart from the pain which took him unawares, she instantly zoomed off from that spot, forgetting that their hands were still linked together. The sudden move, which Axel had not expected, caused him to let go of her hand, and stumble while trying to keep up with her speed. It was surprising how she could still be fast despite the fact that she was connected with his weight.
