Intro...

It was the first day after the summer break.

The school was bustling with old and new students. Many hugged themselves after not seeing each other for 7 weeks, narrating how adventurous or how boring their holiday was to each other. Various teachers were hurrying to their classes to once again make the lives of their students horrible for the next 1 year.

"Sigh....." Aurielle sat in the second row and looked over at Latisha, who seemed to be so immersed in finding out who the new students were. It was her last two years at Phoenix High, after this she would have to take over her parents company. Although a feeling of contentment filled her whenever she thought of taking that position, she couldn't deny the negative thoughts which invaded her mind constantly.

"How was your trip to Japan?", Tisha, she asked pushing away all impervious thoughts and worries coursing through her mind.

This was her best friend, they knew each other for over 12 years. Their friendship started based on a fight over spicy chicken in a hospital cafeteria, which brought them together never to be torn apart.

Did you see the boy band that you have been dreaming of?"

Silence…

"Tisha?"

"Are you alright?"

Pa.....  Suddenly she heard a slap at the back of her head, which startled Latisha. Seeming to notice that her best friend felt neglected, she slips up to her and kisses her cheek, saying, "Oh, my dear goddess, how dare I forget thy?"

Giving her a glare, Aurielle said, "you should focus more on school than thinking about someone insignificant who you don't even know. Why are you so interested in finding out who they are?"

"Aurielle, don't be such a hassle", Nisa from 1D told me she had seen the guy last week by the registration, he looked like he fell down from heaven, like a male god surrounded by angels", Latisha exclaimed with her eyes glistening as if they were blinded with gold.

"It's more like he came from hell, surrounded by demons, seeing how you all are smitten by him. Did you bring back the posters that you promised you would bring for me?" Aurielle questioned while rolling her beautiful ruby eyes.

"OMG, Aurielle, you should have come with me to Japan; the concert was wonderful, beautiful, amazing and incredible. They performed so many songs, I almost thought my ears would explode due to the screaming and yelling of all those girls."

"I would like to remind you that my ears hurt too when you sing along whenever you listen to their songs, Tisha."

"Yeah, yeah, my goddess, hehe I know, packing out her bag, she brings out a large poster as the teacher walks in with two students behind him."

Mr. Martin, the head class teacher of Class 1A, smiled brightly at his students as he shouted,"Oh my, Oh my, look how busy it is!  Good morning, everyone! I hope you all had a relaxing and exciting holiday!!"

Seemingly not so excited like Mr. Martin answered the class dully, "Good morning, Mr. Martin."

"I can feel the enthusiasm in your words. I guess you are all excited to see me. Likewise, I missed you all too. We will have an exceptional school year with each other."

"Most like a horrific school year, you meant to say", murmured a student, who received a glare from Mr. Martin.

"Well, as you all can see, we will be having two new students in our class this year. Look at how bright they seem. Introduce yourself to everyone; this will be your adopted family for the next two years" murmured Mr. Martin to himself, smiling wickedly.

"Good morning, everyone, my name is Lorena, it's my pleasure to spend these last two school years with you all. I look forward to having a wonderful time", she said while smiling, showing her white pearly teeth and a beautiful face with big starry blue eyes.

"This is my twin brother Lucien", she says, awaiting his introduction.

Turning to look at him, she notices his head is down and he seems to be distracted as he keeps staring at the second row. Still smiling to the class, she steps on his toes, making him scream ahhhhhhh and giving him a death glare. Glaring back at him and gritting her teeth, she whispers, "Introduce yourself this minute, or else I won't hesitate to tell you on Aunty Helena."

Slowly he raises his head, making all the girls in class gasp in surprise, showing his signature smile with a twinkle in his bright gray eyes, a deep voice comes out, saying, "my name is Lucien and I look forward to the next two years" , with his gaze lingering back on the second row.

Surprised by the beauty that these two siblings represent and the drama that unfolded before their very eyes, the class welcomes both of them. Everyone seems fascinated by these two, wanting to sit down beside them.

Lorena is offered a seat by every guy in the class; Lucien however, seems to be fixed on where his seat will be. He makes his way to the second row, where Aurielle is seated, and asks "Can I sit here?"

She looks up and stares at him strangely, wondering if he was blind, not noticing Latisha, who is seated beside her.

"Fortunately, this seat is occupied already; I would advise you to sit elsewhere; moreover, I don't fancy strangers sitting beside me", she said, staring into his gray eyes.

"Hmmmmmmm... are you sure we are strangers?" he murmurs to himself while cursing Latisha silently in his heart.

Latisha, noticing the weird atmosphere between the two of them, silently whispers, "I feel like I am really invincible; I might as well get up too," she says while she stands  up.

Aurielle pulls her back to her seat, "If you dare stand up, then you can forget the spicy chicken I promised you."

Like a flash, she sat back down, murmuring, "Handsome, I wouldn't give up my spicy chicken for you; I am sorry."

"Well, I would need another seat, I guess then", Lucien sighed, breaking their eye contact and scanning the room for empty seats. Finding an empty seat on the fourth row, he makes his way there, thinking to himself, one day you will sit willingly beside me, Rielle".
