The next day I was about to enter the college and someone clung around my neck.

"Hey duhh!" Neil said in my ear.

when I turned my back there were Neil, James, Joseph and Millie standing in a group.

I was so happy to see them back here in Florida after their stupid tour, but at the same time I was angry too for leaving me behind in this zoo for years.

"Hey, Finally, back from your foolish tour?"

"Yea! Girl, scold us later, Let's grab a coffee first." James exclaimed.

They didn't even have a clue what happened with me in these past days.

I wanted to tell them all but I refrained myself and decided to tell what happened to me just to Millie as she's a girl won't get hyped up easily.

"Girl, what are you thinking so deeply, we're here to have a talk with you." Joseph knocked me.

"Oh! I'm sorry, How was your trip by the way?" I came back to my senses.

"Hash! It was exhausting really." Neil exclaimed.

"Joe! You see that girl?" James pointed to a girl and knocked Joseph.

"Yeah! Ughh! She's beautiful." Joseph bit his lips in a disgusting way.

"Ew! You guys are really disgusting." I said.

"Shut up! I don't think she's into girls." Joe laughed and high-fived with James.

"You're really good for nothing." Millie furrowed her eyebrows.

"Let's see if she flirts back." James pulled Joe and went towards the girl.

"Hey but-, They never thinks of me, these perverts! I better go and see my babe." Neil left too.

"And he never thinks of me." Millie said with a sigh.

"You really like Neil right?" I asked her.

"I guess I do, but this won't change anything, see how he loves his girlfriend." She gestured at Neil and his girlfriend, who were kissing and making love.

"Hah! This bastard will realize someday don't worry." I said looking back at Millie who was still looking at them.

"I hope he does." she pressed her lips.

"Anyways, What happened? you don't look good? huh?" Millie asked me.

I told each and everything that happened with me to Millie, she's more quiet than me, she always listens to every problem and suggest the best she could, also she's more experienced than me in 'Love'.

"Hardin? You said his name is?" Millie asked me.

"Yess!" I replied.

"Hmmm! So, he really came back." Millie said in wonder.

"Do-Do you know him?" I asked her.

"Yess! Actually he was with us in high-school, and he was Noah's best friend."

"Noah's what?" I almost freaked.

"He was Noah's best friend in high-school, but after that something happened that Noah don't even want to see him anymore." Millie said.

"But what happened?" I asked her.

"I don't know much, but Noah's girlfriend cheated on him with Hardin, everyone knew that Noah loved her the most, they were in a relationship for 4 years, but then he himself saw Hardin and his girlfriend, Stella together." she exclaimed with a sigh.

I was shocked at what Millie told me, I didn't expected Hardin to be this cruel. doing something so heartbreaking to his own bestfriend. How can he be so cheap. but at the same time I was confused why Noah never told me about this.

I decided to ask Noah myself.

"One small cappuccino please." I said to the sweet lady at the counter.

the lady handed me my coffee.

as I turned back I saw Hardin sitting on the table I was sitting on.

"hey!" he greeted me as soon as I sat on my chair.

I ignored him and sipped on my coffee.

"What I was saying is, actually I-"

"Listen, just forget what happened between us okay?" I cut him between.

"But- NO! you misunderstood me, I was saying that I liked the book you gave me." he looked at me confusingly.

I was mesmerized by every look he was giving me. he was really enchanting but I controlled myself after what Millie told me, he- he's just a pervert.

"I'm sorry!" I said in a low voice but audible.

"Can we be friends?" He asked me with a smile.

That smile, that damned smile was my very weakness. I can't resist that smile. I was unable.

"Okay!" without a thought I said. I was being an idiot and straightforward again.

"but just friends." I couldn't help but smile. I smiled a little.

"Thanks for reminding me." he smirked.

"Are you free today?" before I could think he asked.

"mmm For what?" I wondered.

"Ahh! Let me take you to a place if you're free."

"Oh! Okay." I agreed.

"At 7:00 pm sharp at this cafeteria." he smiled and left.

Why does he have to smile in front of me. What everyone told me was that he's arrogant but why don't I feel like the person who just talked and smiled at me is arrogant, he's alluring instead.
