Chapter 19

A couple of months passed, I sat in the backyard while she was asleep under the umbrella in her pack-and-play beside me. I ended up falling asleep on the chair, I woke up to Jackson waking me up.

He held her "Has she eaten recently?" I rubbed my eyes "Um. I fed her about an hour ago. Was she crying?" He shook his head "No, I just picked her up. She was asleep." I stood up from the chair "I didn't mean to fall asleep."

We went inside so I could feed her. I covered her with the blanket and fed her. He stayed quiet for a few seconds but said "Are you doing okay?" I looked up "As good as I can be." He asked "Now that she's a few months older, do you want to come back?" I smirked "Wouldn't your girlfriend mind?" He looked away "I don't have a girlfriend."
