"Damn this cave is big, '' Percy said as he held a torch above his head. The cave surrounding our dear protagonist was dark. So dark he couldn't even see 10 feet in front of him.
Percy could only hold a torch in his hand as he looked for what the guide called "ore". No other explanation, just "you'll know when you see it".
*Splat splat splat*
A weird jumping noise was heard so Percy looked in that direction. Anaklusmos held in his hand and ready to swing.
A blue... Blob was jumping at Percy. It had come from the darkness, and honestly looked really cute.
The blob had jumped next to Percy, but didn't make an effort to try to attack him. In fact this blue blob seemed to take a liking to Percy.
"You're a cute little guy ain't ya?" Percy said as the slime jumped pretty high. High enough to cause Percy to widen his eyes.
The blue slime was small compared to its counterparts, so it easily was able to fit on percy's shoulder.
"I wonder how you are made." Percy said,as he could feel the water in the slime, but there was something there... Something foreign. Magic maybe?.
Percy did eventually find his first iron vein though, and sheesh, Luke wasn't kidding when he said that resources would be plenty.
Though as Percy was mining the ore, another slime came at him. This time it was a red one, much bigger than the blue, and more aggressive too.
Percy swung anaklusmos twice and finally dispatched the slime.
"Ugh, now my swords are all sticky" Percy groaned and flicked his sword, getting most of it off.
*Boing* The blue slime jumped and landed on Percy's shoulder.
Percy continued to mine the ones that he had found, all the while listening to the darkness in case he heard anything... Sus.
But so far nothing. Deeper he heard stuff walking, or just moving without a purpose. And judging by the footsteps, they were not human.
Percy walked forward and saw a small cliff of sorts, he could still barely see the floor since the torch barely illuminated it.
"Oh Hades... This is going to be a pain isn't it?" Percy said. He then carefully jumped down while holding onto his slime pet.
Percy gripped the edge of the cliff before swinging his feet, then when he let go, he hit the floor with a roll. Thankfully his slime pet was safe.
Percy had begun his mining journey, but his killing one was also just beginning.
Slimes, skeletons, and a bunch of other things began attacking Percy. Hades even tunneled its way and tried to attack him.
Percy though was faster than most of the creatures, stronger too in some cases, but they seemed as if they were crawling out of the earth itself just to attack him.
The slime, which Percy had gone on to name Travis, as it had the playful spirit of his old friend from camp half-blood.
At the thought of camp half-blood Percy sighed. He sat near the edge of a pretty deep cliff. He could see lava a pretty good distance down, but his mind was elsewhere.
Percy was lost. He didn't know what to do with his future. Marine biologist? Lifeguard? Scuba diver?
It was... Honestly he didn't know what to do. He had multiple paths that he could choose, but he couldn't feel a path to any of them.
The only thing that he was good at other than ocean related things was fighting. Then again that couldn't be blamed on him, as there were things beyond his control.
*Sigh*
Truthfully Percy and Annabeth had been drifting away before the final war with Kronos.
he wanted nothing to do with the gods after the war, she wanted to be in the center of it all, by being the architect.
Really he was fine with that, really he was. But he was conflicted.
Then he and Annabeth just... Broke up, and it was nasty.
He couldn't remember precisely what happened, but he just knew it was something childish. Words were thrown out, hurtful and very very cruel.
Really it felt like Hecate was guiding him, watching as he chose one of the many crossroads in front of him.
He could have become a god, or join the after party as many gods and demigods had, or straight up leave.
Instead though, he was invited by Apollo of all people, and Hades for a "guys night out".
They were honestly really chill, and for the first time in a long while, Percy let his guard down.
That's when he met her. Honestly, Percy could only barely remember her face, as she was like light itself. The moonlight shifted and covered her in the light rays.
Beautiful would be an understatement of her, but Percy was really more memorized by her eyes.
Drunk Percy was a very happy Percy. He was vaguely aware of Hades and Apollo making a bet though.
Needless to say, when he awoke he was here in this world.
For better or for worse.
Though, throughout his journey underground, he did find a singular chest. Inside was a magic mirror, dynamite, and some potions he had no idea of.
"What a weird day huh Travis?" Percy said as he put them in his pouch.
"Now let's go back to the surface," he said.
(End of chapter)
So, what would you guys think in terraria terms should be percy's minimum health/mp and what should I make his maximum?
200? 300?
Also should Percy be able to come back from death as a true terrarian? Or should he just have a single life?
Personally I'm voting for multiple deaths.
And what are your opinions on slimes not attacking Percy? Since technically they are made of water type substances?
bruh I beat EOL in the daytime. but now I'm struggling on master mode night time lul.
