Hikari was Infront of the Hephaestus Cabin, as he knocked on the door, qs someone came out he has dark skin, black curly skin, orange camp half-blood shirt, over that was apron that had down staines from building.
The boy looked at him. "Ho you must be Hikari, I am Charles Beckendorf, but just call be Charles, so what brings our father champion here"
Hikari nodded at Charles, taking in the sight of the older demigod before him. "Yeah, I'm Hikari," he said, trying to suppress the surge of emotions he still felt from earlier. "I came here because Chiron said I should start mastering my powers. I need to understand how to work with fire and forge, like Hephaestus."
Charles grinned, a friendly spark in his eyes. "Well, you came to the right place. If you're the champion of Hephaestus, you've got some serious potential. Let's see what you're made of."
He gestured for Hikari to follow him inside the cabin. The interior was like a workshop straight out of a dream—tools, half-built weapons, armor, and gadgets of all kinds covered the tables. The air was thick with the scent of molten metal and smoke, but it felt oddly comforting to Hikari, as if something inside him resonated with the space.
Charles led him to a large forge in the back of the cabin. "Alright, since you're new to this, we'll start simple," he said, handing Hikari a piece of raw metal. "You're going to learn how to mold this metal using fire. Control is key. Let's see if you can summon Hephaestus's flame and shape it."
Hikari took the metal, feeling its weight in his hands. He stared at it, focusing his energy as Charles instructed. The thought of his father and his determination to get him back flickered in his mind, fueling his resolve.
He raised his hand over the metal, trying to summon the flame. At first, nothing happened, but then a faint heat began to rise from his palm. Slowly, a small flame ignited at his fingertips, flickering in the air.
"Not bad," Charles said, watching closely. "Now, focus. Channel that flame into the metal. Let it become an extension of you."
Hikari narrowed his eyes, concentrating harder. The flame grew hotter, and soon the metal started to glow red as it heated up. He could feel the power of Hephaestus flowing through him, guiding him as the metal softened and began to take shape under his touch.
"That's it," Charles encouraged. "You're doing great, Hikari. Keep it steady."
For the first time in a while, Hikari felt a sense of control over his powers. The flame danced in his hand, and the metal responded, bending and shaping into something new. He wasn't just wielding fire; he was creating, just like Hephaestus.
Hikari's focus remained sharp as the metal continued to glow, slowly morphing into the form he envisioned—a simple but elegant gauntlet. He could feel the raw energy of the forge connecting with him, as if Hephaestus himself was guiding his hands. The gauntlet took shape, sleek and durable, with subtle engravings lining its surface.
Charles watched with an impressed expression. "You've got a natural talent for this, Hikari. It usually takes newbies weeks to get that kind of control, but you're already shaping metal like a pro."
Hikari nodded, wiping a bead of sweat from his brow. "Thanks. I guess being a champion of Hephaestus comes with its perks."
He stared at the newly crafted gauntlet in his hand, turning it over. There was a strange sense of satisfaction in creating something from nothing. It was unlike anything he had ever felt before. For a brief moment, the weight of his father's loss and the burden of his bloodlust eased, replaced by the joy of creation.
Charles approached him, his gaze admiring the craftsmanship. "Not bad for your first try. I'd say Hephaestus would be proud."
Hikari gave a small smile. "I'm still learning. There's a lot more I need to figure out."
Charles nodded. "That's the spirit. You're not just here to fight monsters, you're here to build, to create. And if you can master both, you'll be one hell of a force to reckon with." He paused, glancing at the gauntlet. "By the way, you might want to enchant that with something defensive or offensive, depending on how you plan to use it."
Hikari's eyes brightened at the idea. "How do I enchant it?"
"Well," Charles began, "for that, we're going to need some magical materials, and of course, the right runes. Hephaestus's fire can forge, but magic—that's a whole different craft. I can show you how to inscribe the runes, but you'll need to channel your inner power to actually activate them."
"Sounds like a plan," Hikari said. He placed the gauntlet down on the workbench. "But first, I need to ask you something. Do you know how to get to the Underworld?"
Charles raised an eyebrow. "The Underworld? That's... dangerous territory. Why do you want to go there?"
Hikari's gaze hardened. "My dad's there. He wasn't killed—he was turned to dust. I need to find him and bring him back."
Charles hesitated, a look of concern crossing his face. "I get it, but the Underworld isn't something you just walk into. You'll need a guide, someone who knows the way."
Hikari clenched his fists. "I don't care how dangerous it is. I'm going."
Charles sighed. "Alright, I won't stop you, but you should talk to Chiron first. He'll know how to prepare you for a trip like that. You might also want to see if any of the other campers have been to the Underworld before—there's always someone who's got experience with that place."
Hikari nodded. "Thanks, Charles. I'll see what I can find out."
Charles gave him a supportive nod. "Good luck, Hikari. If anyone can pull this off, it's you."
With determination burning in his chest, Hikari left the forge, the weight of his mission heavy on his mind. He would get to the Underworld, no matter what it took. And when he did, he'd bring his father back—one way or another.
Hikari then looked at then. "So remember the story where Hephaestus had trabbed hera in her chain"
Charles looked at him. "Why yes".
Hikari looked at him. "And by chance are there forge all around America"
Charles was getting a bit concern. "Um why yes 12 in fact"
Hikari just lookef at him. "And he had the chains in one of them, in a completely unrelated note, which forge is his favorite"
Charles looked and golved. "It would be outside of Boston, but he rarely vist them".
Hikari give him a sickening sweet smile. "Thank you".
Charles felt a chill run down his spine at Hikari's smile. "Uh... why do you ask?" he said, trying to keep his tone casual despite the growing suspicion in his voice.
Hikari simply waved it off. "Oh, no reason at all. Just... gathering some information. You know, being a good son and all. If I'm going to be the champion of Hephaestus, I figure I should know everything I can about his workspaces."
Charles wasn't convinced, but he didn't press further. "Right… well, if you need anything else, you know where to find me."
"Of course," Hikari replied, still wearing that unsettlingly sweet smile.
As Hikari walked away, Charles couldn't help but feel like he had just been a part of something... dangerous. He didn't know what Hikari was planning, but whatever it was, it wasn't just a simple trip to the forge.
Hikari's mind, meanwhile, was racing with possibilities. If he could access one of Hephaestus's favorite forges, he might find tools or artifacts that could help him with his quest to the Underworld. And maybe—just maybe—he'd find something that could give him an edge in freeing his father.
The chains Hephaestus had once used to trap Hera were legendary. If they were still in one of the forges, they could be the key to containing something—or someone—in the Underworld. It was a long shot, but Hikari wasn't one to back down from a challenge.
With renewed determination, Hikari set his sights on Boston. He had a forge to visit and no time to waste.
Hikari then smiled and spoke in his mind. "The chains of Hephaestus that is what I am getting"
Later that day in the big house, everyone heard a scream.
Hikari looked at Chiron. "Bullshit, what doo you mean I can't leave camp".
Chiron looked at him. "Unthle summer is over Hikari, you are staying in camp half-blood".
Hikari looked at Dionysus. "Mr D"
Dionysus just took a ship from his wine as he looked at Hikari. "Hey you may be my favourite but the rule are rule, blush you don't want to be strike down by Zeus do you"
Hikari looked at Chiron. "Then how can I leave camp"
Chiron looked at him. "If a god or a Goddess gives you a question"
Hikari looked at him. "When was the last one"
Chiron have him a small smile Before he answer. "I few years ago, let's say that camper failed and um... Quest were banned for the new few years".
Hikari clenched his fists in frustration but kept his composure. "So, I need to be sent on a quest, huh?" He muttered, eyes narrowing as he processed Chiron's words.
Chiron nodded, sensing the intensity in Hikari's voice. "Yes, Hikari, but the gods don't just hand out quests. They must believe you're ready or in dire need of completing something significant."
Hikari took a deep breath, calming his growing frustration. "Then I'll just have to get one of them to notice me. They need to know I'm serious about going to the Underworld."
Dionysus sipped his wine lazily. "Oh, don't be so dramatic. If it's meant to happen, it will. Until then, relax and enjoy the camp, dear champion."
Hikari shot him a look of determination. "I'll figure something out. I will get that quest."
With that, he stormed out of the big house, mind racing with plans to get the gods' attention, fully set on making his way to the Underworld.
Dionysus just looked at Chiron. "This year Capture the flags is going to be something else"
Chiron sighed, rubbing his temples as he watched Hikari leave. "Yes, it certainly will be... especially with him involved."
Dionysus took another sip from his goblet, a mischievous smile forming on his lips. "The champion of Hephaestus and Ares with that much determination... it's going to be more than interesting. I'd say we're in for quite the spectacle."
Chiron shook his head, his expression serious. "Let's just hope he channels that energy wisely. The last thing we need is another disaster."
Dionysus chuckled softly. "Oh, I wouldn't worry too much, Chiron. One way or another, we'll see something truly unforgettable during this year's Capture the Flag."
The two exchanged a look, knowing that Hikari's quest for the Underworld and the power he was growing into would soon make waves in the camp, one way or another.
Later that night, normal no one goes out of the cabin doring the night in camp half-blood, why because of the Harpies, but there was on person there training it was Hikari, as the Harpies saw him
Harpies one spoke. "Looks like this camper doesn't know the rules"
Harpies 3 then spoke. "Let's go and attack him"
As then went to attack him, and Hikari looked at him as he pressed his suit his fully formed, as an exco skeleton coverd his body, as then a breath makes that coved his lower side of face they looks like that of a wolf Muggle as it even looked like it had Sharp teeth, the exco skeleton in his arm pulls out more metal parts, as it becomes a gauntlet that has spikes on knuckles, as his 10 fingers finger now has claws, as then he makes a fist as like wolverine, Blade's comes our, then four more amrs, as he breath mist came out of the mask, the exco skeleton in his leg fully
The Harpies saw this and they were supires, but also they saw his emerald green eyes and they saw it glowing because of the light, right now he was looking like a Lycon
On that night, screams can heard and no camper dear to go out, not even the Ares Camper who the most bravest, Next Mornings Percy came out holding riptide, as he and everyone saw it, a sleeping Hikari under the tree, with multiple Harpies tired to with silver string, they seemed to be damged, some had dirt or mud in there face, other burn mark, and some had broke bones and even one that a ninja star on her elbows
On some of the tree Ninja star's were there and some smoke bomb, Chiron went to cut the string but it didn't cane so he asked Percy for Riptide and then the string's finally cut.
As Chiron finished cutting the silver strings, he knelt down beside the unconscious Hikari, examining the aftermath. "What on Earth happened here?" he murmured to himself, noticing the damage the Harpies had taken. Even though they had attacked Hikari first, their condition was far more severe than expected from a simple defense.
Percy stared wide-eyed at the scene. "I've never seen anyone take on the Harpies like that. And I finally relished that the exoskeleton really makes him look like a wolf."
Chiron frowned, noticing the various tools scattered around—the ninja stars embedded in trees, the smoke bombs still lingering with traces of smoke. Hikari had fought like a seasoned warrior. His glowing emerald eyes, combined with his wolf-like mask and gauntlet weapons, had transformed him into something even the Harpies feared.
The other campers, including the Ares kids, gathered at a distance, whispering in awe.
"Who ties up Harpies like that?" one of them asked, his voice tinged with respect and caution.
Chiron gently shook Hikari awake. "Hikari, wake up. What happened here last night?"
Hikari's eyes fluttered open, his mind still foggy from the intense training session. As he sat up, the weight of his own actions began to sink in. He blinked a few times, looking at the bound and beaten Harpies, then at Chiron's concerned face.
"I didn't mean for it to go this far," Hikari muttered. "They attacked, and I… well, I defended myself."
Chiron sighed. "Harpies are relentless when it comes to enforcing camp rules, but this..." He gestured to the scene. "This is something else entirely. We'll need to discuss this."
Percy exchanged glances with Chiron before speaking up. "Yeah, we definitely need to talk about that suit of yours too. You looked like a full-on warrior last night."
Hikari stood up, his muscles sore from the fight. "I've been pushing myself too hard, I guess. But I'm not just going to sit back. I've got bigger things to prepare for."
Chiron placed a firm hand on Hikari's shoulder. "We understand that you're driven, but you need to control it. You're powerful, yes, but there's a balance you need to learn. We'll talk about it more later."
As the campers slowly dispersed, whispers followed Hikari, echoing through the crowd. Everyone knew that the next Capture the Flag would be far from ordinary with him on the field.
But Hikari's mind was already elsewhere—focused on the chains of Hephaestus and his burning desire to venture to the Underworld. This was only the beginning.
Dionysus laughed after he got the report. "So first we have Percy who is showing unexpected strength and then his step Brother Hikari is doing this shit, oh boy how old are these two again"
Chiron looked at Dionysus. "Your a lot more cheerful sense the curse was lipted, and too answer 12".
Dionysus chuckled again, swirling his drink with a bemused expression. "Twelve years old, huh? And already causing this much chaos. It feels like they're growing up way too fast." He took another sip, glancing at Chiron. "Percy with his unexpected strength and now Hikari running wild with that wolf-like exoskeleton. They're not even teenagers yet, and they're already acting like full-blown demigod warriors."
Chiron folded his arms and sighed. "Yes, well, demigods don't exactly have the luxury of a normal childhood. Especially these two. The amount of power they're wielding is beyond what most demigods their age can handle." He gave Dionysus a pointed look. "We'll need to keep an eye on them, particularly Hikari. He's driven, but he's walking a fine line between control and recklessness."
Dionysus shrugged, a smirk playing on his lips. "Recklessness is practically in the demigod job description. But you're right, of course. These two are special. Percy's already starting to show the strength of his godly father, and Hikari… well, let's just say he's got a dangerous mix of powers brewing inside him."
Chiron nodded thoughtfully. "I'll have to talk to both of them soon. We can't afford to have things spiral out of control. Especially with the Capture the Flag event approaching. The last thing we need is either of them pushing things too far."
Dionysus laughed again, louder this time. "Oh, I can't wait to see how that goes. The gods are going to have a field day watching this unfold." He gave Chiron a knowing look. "Just make sure you have plenty of ambrosia on hand. Something tells me we're going to need it."
