Peerless Harem

Today is the day that I will finally take my life. It has been an incredible journey thus far, and I have accomplished all that I have set out to accomplish from the moment that I’d found myself reincarnated into this eastern fantasy. Honestly, me. A simple farmer has reached the pinnacle of all creation under heaven. Yet, despite that seemingly impossible achievement, I feel so empty inside. Perhaps, it is because I am all alone here in this place. This summit. For the loneliest number is me. So many people have left me on my journey towards greatness for one reason or another. They either did not have the OP systems or cheats to reach the top with me, and I feel so guilty for totally forgetting about them for many, many adventures, especially when I ascend to a higher realm. Now that I have reached the peak, standing above all else, looking down at the world and everything below, I wonder to myself, what have I truly accomplished in the end? Where are my friends, families, and most importantly, a harem of heaven defying beauties? ****

Might of the Spiritual Realm

And there are more than a couple supreme beauties lying there on the ground, bleeding out from the numerous gashes and lashes all over their body.

They were simply not fast enough to evade the attack from before.

Or they had failed to successfully block or nullify the attack, which was kind of foolish unless they had made good use of a Sacred Treasure. Only through a Sacred Treasure that there is a chance of resisting or defending against such an attack.

Technically, it wasn't an attack.

Nothing under Heaven would be able to withstand an actual strike from a Primordial Being, and I think I do mean nothing from what I know about Primordial Being so far. They are above Heaven, and thus, they should not fear the Heaven and its judgement.

The Primordial Elemental Energy that I had unleashed upon the group of people a moment ago cannot be considered an attack, as the energy has no ill-intention whatsoever. It has absolutely no intention, and it is more akin to a strong blast of wind passing through the area and everyone. Otherwise, Sacred Treasure or not, everything would be devastated within its wake.

And I would also be dead for trying to contain such energy within my body and mind. Mortally anyway, but even so, it would still set me back since I would have to somehow piece my body back together in the aftermath.

Good thing that I do not have to, and my poor action of brute forcing my way into the Wind Stone did give me some interesting insight into what is exactly being contained within those Elemental Stones.

I hope that I will not be so hastily with the next elemental stone, as I do want to make use of all of that incredibly powerful Primordial Elemental Energy sealed within the pocket dimension of those stones.

Strangely, I also sense a consciousness or a mind just before I release the energy. I might have mistaken about that, but then again, there is a consciousness within the Blood Stone. Maybe all the stones have some sort of consciousness or mind or a will.

This requires more investigation, and as I eye the survivors, they flinch. Their previous predisposition is now gone, and they are more like lambs to the slaughter.

It is more or less a normal response from experts in the Martial Realm or Spiritual Realm when facing an expert in the Learned Realm. Learned Realm is at least 3 Realms higher than theirs, and one realm higher is enough to scare people shitless let alone three realms.

"Kumo. Please correct me if I am wrong," I speak up without removing my eyes from the survivors as well as the dying. "What happens to those who dare to step into the Valley of the Wind uninvited?"

Kumo takes a moment to snap out of her stupor and removes her eyes from the carnage. "Their lives are forfeit, master."

I nod slowly, and each nod strikes fears into everyone. "And what do you think happen to those who dares to invade our Sect and demand things?"

"They must die a thousand deaths, master," Kumo answers with some thoughts. "No. A million deaths for even stepping into this chamber and interrupting your meditation."

I smile faintly. "You still have much to learn, my young padawan, for death is merely the beginning of their suffering, and death will be the only thing they beg for in the end. Do you know how long a spirit – a soul – can linger between the boundary of the mortality? How long a mind can continue to endure and suffer after the body has all but becomes useless?"

My right hand raises to activate one of my rings, but before I am able to put my thoughts into actions, the ceiling collapses onto me and everyone due to the destruction of the supporting pillars.

I was wondering when that will happen, considering the Primordial Elemental Energy has pretty much renovated the entire chamber in its passing.

Everyone immediately acts, escaping from the collapsing chamber, including Kumo. Everyone besides me and Li Zhu, that is. Kumo does not even attempt to reach me and render aid likely because she has assumed that I am more than capable of escaping myself.

Or maybe she just realizes what kind of monster she has sworn to serve. Eh? I have that thought since she has that thought. I can feel and hear what she is feeling and thinking when she is nearby.

I will ask her about that later when I get out of here.

As for Li Zhu, she is a spirit, so getting buried would not hinder her even if she is kind of out of it at the moment due to her crushing defeat. As a natural born spirit, Li Zhu can phrase through matters like it is not even there.

That is an incredible powerful ability if used correctly, and as such, I order Li Zhu to come to my aid.

I will make use of her powers and abilities since she is not using them fully herself. It also teaches her a couple new things or more, for I prefer her to be useful to me in some form. At least, she should not be a burden to me in the future.

I just hate babysitting people. Like I do not have enough problems on my hand already.

Li Zhu reacts automatically because I have ordered her so through our blood connection. If I have, say, requested her, she would not react fast enough, and I would have resorted to other methods to save myself to demonstrate my power.

The moment that Li Zhu touches me, I allow her to energy my body and into my mindscape. Within an instant, my will dominates her, and she enters a state of waken sleep.

Li Zhu is aware, but she is unable to do anything other than watch and learn. She is more or less being trapped inside me as opposed to me being trapped in my own body somehow.

Well, that is certainly possible.

If her will was stronger than mine, she would able to suppress me and take possession of my body to do whatever she pleases just like Kumo has done so to Zhao Yao. Since my will is stronger, the reverse is true, and while she does not have a body, I still have access to all of her powers and abilities.

Naturally, Li Zhu will try to resist me, but thanks to our master-servant relationship, she cannot resist my command. That is one of the reasons for the blood contract. It prevents her from getting any ideas.

Before I make my escape, however, I activate my blood stone ring to suck up all the bloods and another ring to capture any linger spirits or souls. It is not a good idea to capture spirits or souls due to a reason, but I will not keep them for long.

Only until I get what I want. It should be fine.

I use the last slither of spiritual energy that Li Zhu has and shot skywards. A spiritual aura emerges and coats my being as I do so, allowing me to phrase through collapsing peak of the mountain all the way through to the other side.

Since Li Zhu is a Vermillion Bird Spirit, flight is one of her natural abilities, thus, I do not need to resort to using any items to remain airborne. Even if she does not have flight capability, there are other ways to manipulate spiritual energy to produce thrust.

Hell, even an adept Martial Realm expert can manipulate their natural Qi energy to produce flight, but I notice that none of the Marital Realm or Spiritual Realm experts can fly unaided.

They have to use some sort of items or artefacts to produce the effect.

Honestly, the level of skills of cultivators in this era pale in comparison to the cultivators of the old era, and it is such a disappointment or a golden opportunity – depends on how I see it.

Popping a pill to restore Li Zhu's spiritual power to maximum, resulting my spiritual aura explodes and covers a vast area. I quickly locate everyone within my aura and then focus on each one of them.

The spiritual pressure that follows crush their will, and I can feel their spirit screaming in pain, begging me to stop.

Within my mindscape, Li Zhu is utterly shocked that her spiritual aura could be used in such a way. It's really is nothing compare to she can do, as it is her powers after all. Also, I am burning out very quickly channeling this much power due to my mortal physique.

Thus, I make my ultimatum, and I am sure they will not be able to refuse after the small demonstration.

I hope that you enjoy the chapter.
