Chapter 10: New World

'..come on..' I waited patiently for my mother to pull her phone out. This was the only way I could think of without freaking her out.

'..I just hope she doesn't look at what I'm searching up..'

I sat there patiently for what seemed like a couple minutes before I saw my mother check her phone for the first time.

'.. Yes! Now!..' I immediately sprung into action, initiating my perfect plan.

"..mama..g-gimme.." I muttered as I held out my hands. The embarrassment I felt was shown entirely on my face as i turned bright red like a tomato.

'..come on! please work..!' I prayed silently for her to fall for it.

I saw my mother stare at me for a few seconds, contemplating. She appeared to have been in deep thought after hearing my words.

"You want it?" She held out her phone at me questioingly.

"Y-yesh!" I let out an exited yelp, the answer to all my questions being held dangling in front of me on all its glory.

"haaaa, okay, fine, here." She handed it to me as she had a reluctant look on her face.

'..???..' I was a bit confused, I hadn't expected something like this.

'..is that it?.. that easy?..' Her sudden action caught me off guard.

"T-Thank..you.." I accepted it regardless if it meant not having to fake a temper tantrum. I wasn't going to just let such an easy opportunity pass by.

"Sure, kiddo, just stay here and behave, okay? I gotta go check on your sisters and make sure they're training properly."

"Okay!" With that, she stood up and went to check on my sister in their room, although I don't know what kind of training they're supposed to be doing, I've often seen them meditating whenever I pass by their doorway.

'..FINALLYYYY..' The moment I saw her step out of the room, I started to search for any information I could fiendishly, everything from basic history, the year, any current events, even basic human physiology.

I continued searching for anything before finally stopping for a short break.

"fuuuu, wow..that was..alot"

After scouring for every bit of information I could, I finally found what I needed.

The planet I'm currently inhabiting is called Romulus. From what I could gather, it's around 10 times bigger than earth, and it's divided into 4 different continents of equal size, the north, south, east, and west, though here they're called by their respective names rather than that.

The north, Eros inhabited by the demons and monsters, like vampires, werewolves, succubus, and such,their ruler being titled the lord of demons This, of course, meant their ruler would most predominantly be a demon, their land being rather bleak, with very little fertility, however their rich in things like Mana stones and ores, so insuch they specialize in occupations that involve handling ores.

The South, Philia, inhabited by the elves, fairies, and most nature loving races, the most dominant race, however, being the elves with their ruler being The elven queen. Their land the complete opposite of Eros, being incredibly fertile while also being rich in fruits and crops, the land however lacks minerals which led to them developing friendly relations with all continents for trading, most especially Eros.

The east, Storge, inhabited by the beast women and demi-humans, their land was a rather desert like area, similar to the Middle East back on earth. It was mostly rich in things such as wildlife. Therefore, they specialized in things like meats, pelts, and anything related to beasts.

Finally, the West, Agape, inhabited by humans, it's also where I'm currently living, The Land was completely average compared to the other different continents, it specialized in neither ores, or crops, or wildlife, it was a sort of jack of all trades Master of none, however the only remarkable thing they are known for is their advancement in technology which was more advanced than what I knew back on earth, they traded this tech with other continents leading to a grand revolutionary Era for each of them.

The calendar they use is also the same as what I know, the current year being..2978.

'..huh, so I was born in the year 2975..'

So far, that's the most I could gather without resting. After absorbing the knowledge of this world's geography, I started to look more into the history of the continent I live in.

'..alright, just a bit more..' I immediately dove back into my research as I continued where I left off.

After an hour of searching, I finally finished as I put down the phone ever so slightly, I sat there a bit digesting the information I just read.

' ..haaa, what a world to be born into..'

I felt myself slump onto the couch as I remembered all the crucial and very disturbing pieces of info I could gather.

Unlike my previous world, where it was mostly a monarchy system run predominantly by males, this world is the complete opposite, with in each and every single continent having a matriarchy system in place.

In other words, in this world, women are the ones who are in power.

Although it's not exactly explained why for the other 3 continents, for Agape, from what I could find came down to two main reasons

The first dates back millions of years ago back to the prehistoric Era back when humans first evolved.

The second is due to the sudden influx of a foreign energy called "Mana".
