"DIE FOR ME!"

Noah panicked. That's right. Panicked. This was because he knew that at that moment he had been royally fucked. "Now of all fucking time?!"

Only 3 minutes had passed since executing Limit Breaker, which meant it had deactivated 2 minutes earlier and he knew the reason. It was because of his body. It couldn't handle the load that the enhanced power had given it, so it shut itself down before it would risk breaking down completely- a sort of defense mechanism against Noah's unintended suicide.

A groan escaped his lips as the transmigrator felt his body fall to the floor, devoid of any strength. Even then, it took all his willpower to not scream out in pain as his worn out muscles and organs relayed the pain he was meant to feel to his brain. His body had never been in a worse state, and his situation was grimmer.

The dream druid felt confusion as it watched its opponent fall to the floor. That confusion led it to stay still for a few minutes since it was smart enough to assume that the human was trying to bait it into moving closer. But after those few minutes of silence and observance, it finally decided to act. A tendril appeared from its forearm and shot forward.

A groan of pain left Noah's lips as he felt the tendril pierce through his thigh. His mind roared at his body, hoping he could find an ounce of strength that would at least allow him to stand. 'Goddammit! Stand up! Stand up, goddammit! You didn't come so far to die here!' Yet his body simply wouldn't listen to his mind. If anything, his attempts at trying to move only made the pain worse.

The druid, seeing the human unresponsive after that attack, attacked once more but all it received were more painful groans from Noah. Glee finally filled its conscience as it realized that its opponent had run out of gas! That glee turned into flames of revenge that made the druid release even more tendrils that pierced into Noah's body making him release more pained grunts.

The crowd watched as this happened with downcast faces, it seemed that, in the end, luck didn't shine its light on all. Most would flinch as the tendrils released a sickening sound as they pierced into his flesh, with some emotional ones even crying. They were even more amazed that the teenager could keep mostly silent as he received such a cruel torture.

Luke and Aina were much worse. Their aura seemed on the verge of release as they watched the happenings of what went on within that screen. The husband's fist were clenched, wishing with all his might that he could rush into that exam and save his son, but he couldn't. He could only join his wife as they prayed to their higher beings that Noah would make it past this.

Noah's eyes had lost a bit of their light as he looked forward. The pain that the beast sought to inflict on him didn't even register anymore. He just felt tired. He just felt like finally resting, finally dropping all the hatred and grief that were bottled up within him. It seemed fate didn't seem to want him to live, seeing as he faced off against such an unreasonable powerful monster. Maybe it was right in its sense of doing so, he too felt like leaving. Human beings were too complicated, most of the feelings they harbored were negative emotions, stuff like betrayal and killing came too easy for them once they confirmed it was for their own benefit. He didn't wish to associate himself with those kind of people anymore.

He just wanted to rest. Eternally.

"You're still the same, huh?" A voice said.

Noah's closing eyes paused. His senses spread towards his surroundings to notice that everything at the moment was on pause. Not even a dust particle was moving in this new environment. Plus, that voice sounded eerily familiar. Craning his neck, he looked up to his old friend, Ian. "You…"

Ian chuckled as he crouched and looked at the sorry figure Noah presented to him. "Yea me. You're in quite the tough spot I see."

"How are you here? Aren't you dead?" Noah asked, a tinge of grief seeping into his voice.

"Aren't you?"

That retort made the transmigrator's eyes to widen, that question could mean that his friend was also transmigrated into this world with him.

"Don't be silly, I wasn't. Only you got that benefit, I'm just a wondering shadow who came to visit my idiotic friend." Ian's smile disappeared as he stared at his friend and asked, "So you're going to give up?"

Noah sighed. "Do I have a choice? I'm tired of this universe's bullshit anyway, so yes, I'm going to give up."

"That's not the Noah that I know. He wouldn't run away."

"I'm not running away, I'm dying!" Noah yelled with veins popping on his head. "I'm dying because some bitch probably thought I was too dangerous to be left alone so he planned to kill me! I'm dying because of he doesn't want me alive! I'm dying because of his greed, jealousy and pride! I'm dying because of humans! The same way I died last time!"

Ian paused, looking at his friend with pity and grief in his eyes. "Noah. You can't give up because of all that. Yes, humans are too cruel when left to their vices and emotions but that's not all of them! There are people who live on the positive side, Noah. You know them, they are the people closest to you in this world." Craning his neck, the handsome ghost stared at his friend directly in the eye. "And yes a bastard does want to kill you. But the answer to that is not allowing yourself to die, its being the Noah that I know by living and making that bastard pay a hundred fold later!"

Noah's state finally calmed down as he heard his best friend talk. He stayed silent for a few minutes before finally speaking. "Ian. I'm sorry."

The ghost smiled, knowing the topic his friend was speaking about. "Show me that you are. By surviving this thing."

Noah finally smiled as he looked at his friend. "I will!"

And then time resumed. Only this time Noah's eyes burned with a resolution and determination never seen before.

"ROAR!" With a loud roar, the beast finally decided to kill off its adversary immediately but Noah wasn't going down without a fight.

"I WILL SURVIVE THIS, YOU FUCKING BASTARD!!!"He still couldn't stand or move, but at that moment, it was like Noah knew exactly what he needed to do. His hands rose up in the direction of the beast as he yelled out. At his call, the white mist circling his Essence core seemed to have been roused. It trembled before a portion flowed out of Noah's body and seeped into his environment. "DIE FOR ME!!!"

Nothing else needed to be said. A diameter of 30 meters around the Dream Druid disappeared along with it. The only thing that could allow one realize its existence in the cave once, were its two fingers which seemed to have escaped the sudden annihilation.
