Iron Gun

"You've got a deal there, Kaimon."

"It's Kae– you know what, I'm not even gonna correct you. Let's do this!"

In terms of accessibility, this situation clearly descended from the heavens. Now that Kaemon was here, Wang Jin didn't have to waste time looking for the second book. He could focus solely on getting the one located in Sahara City.

Still, there was no guarantee that Wang Jin would get out of this unscathed, if even, alive. But perhaps there was something about the new technique he learned that gave him a sense of confidence.

Was it pure bravado? Maybe, but even if it was, it still gave him that bit of energy he needed to stand strong against another Jin-sent assassin.

"Yah!"

Surprisingly, Wang Jin was the first to move. In the fights he had before, he would always be the one moving after. And to think, he prided himself on his high speed…

Infusing Iron Style into his fists, Wang Jin launched an Asmodeus-augmented Ultimate Karate Chop at Kaemon.

His hand moved with the fluidity of a sword. When he slashed, a wave of wind that burned with a raging fire followed in its tracks.

Choosing to engage with Wang Jin, Kaemon threw his own set of attacks, hoping to win the clash. A barrage of punches, kicks, and other martial arts were sent to both persons.

Being a practitioner of the Jin clan's techniques meant Kaemon was not at all sloppy in his movements. His enhanced senses allowed him to be able to keep up with Wang Jin's fast and almost spazmic attacks.

"Looks like you really have improved, Wang. Where has the weakling who couldn't even perform a single karate chop gone now? Your deceased mother would have been happy to see this new you." Kaemon bickered.

"What can I say, it's the faces of the Jin clan's members that rile me up. How about you let me hit you?" Wang Jin exclaimed as he continued to throw his limbs at Kaemon.

"I will if you let me hit you first."

Suddenly, Kaemon retreated backwards. Happy that he had won the first "duel", Wang Jin planned on continuing the assault.

After all, their little tussle pretty much already established the fact that Wang Jin was superior, at least physically.

If he could overwhelm his opponent with his superior strength, this battle would be over quickly.

"Get back here!"

Further increasing the amount of mana going into his fists, Wang Jin charged.

His eyes raised, seeing Kaemon randomly start closing his fist, and the color silver covering his skin. Realizing something bad was going to happen, he instantly swerved to the side, halting his acceleration.

And his instincts were right. Less than a moment later, an intense wave of energy was sent hurling at his past location. The moment it made contact with the floor, it cracked.

"This is the second book's technique, Iron Gun. Surprised?"

"Damn right, I am! Makes me wanna take it from you even more." Wang Jin smiled, not even noticing the slight amount of drool that leaked from his tongue.

"Come and get it from me."

That slight display of power shocked Wang Jin for a short moment, but it only made him want the next technique even more.

Concentrating some of his unused mana into his legs, Wang Jin rushed forward in slight bursts of speed, upping his unpredictability.

Kaemon responded to this perfectly, throwing multiple Iron Guns in the directions he anticipated Wang Jin to be.

But with merely a slight tweak to his bodily movements, Wang Jin was able to halt, dodge, and even redirect the attacks sent towards him.

Iron Gun, much like the Karate Chop technique, wasn't all that omnipotent. It was top notch in speed and accuracy, sure, but it stopped there. It couldn't compare in the strength and flexibility of the first technique.

And it has a glaring disadvantage to it. Wang Jin noticed that every few shots, Kaemon had to unclench his fist for a few moment, before allowing his Iron Style to seep in again and continue to shoot.

This was the little speck of time he would aim for.

"I've got you now."

After a few close calls and perfect dodges, Wang Jin made it to Kaemon. Stretching his hand out, he once again formed the Ultimate Karate Chop in his hands.

"Close, but not quite, Wang."

Somehow, Kaemon had anticipated this situation. The moment Wang Jin entered his zone, he was now unsafe, no matter how much he would try to retreat.

In an instant, Kaemon's body burst into flames, creating a small explosion the size of a rocket launcher.

The unprepared Wang Jin was left to take the full force of this surprise attack to the face. He raised his hands in order to protect his head, but that wasn't enough to mitigate even half of the damage dealt.

And if that wasn't enough, Kaemon had taken advantage of this moment in time when Wang Jin was unable to dodge. A single Iron Gun shot was able to launch him backwards.

"Heh. That was easier than I thought. But I don't think I've completely mastered Iron Gun yet. Let me see the pages."

Reaching into his pockets, Kaemon attempted to look for the pages he brought with him.

"Huh. Could've sworn I kept it behind me…"

"Are you looking for this, Kaimon?" Suddenly, Wang Jin's voice popped up.

"I told you, it's Kaemon, and you've already lost. Sit tight and let me take you in… how do you have that?!"

To his surprise, Wang Jin was holding the book in his hands, and was reading through it like a bookworm after school!

With a smug smile on his face, and an interest that sparked as a result of the information he was receiving, Wang Jin continued to flip through the book.

"Okay, I've got it!"

"Wha– don't tell me he's already learned it, and in less than a moment?!"

"It's pretty similar to the Ultimate Karate Chop, and also uses Iron Style. I think I've got it!"

"There's no way you have! You're telling me you learned the technique already?" Kaemon exclaimed.

"Yuppers."

"Screw the elders, I'm killing you right now!"

Rising to his feet, Wang Jin began stretching, almost as if he had just finished doing his morning workout routine.

Inside, he knew this pain would've normally hurt him by now. In fact, it was painful.

But a few usual run-in's with Lilian and her band of simps had already done wonders in regards to his defense stat. The constant pain they caused him physically, mentally, and even psychologically was in a different league from what he was feeling right now.

"I'm about ready to try this out… alright. Jin Clan Body Techniques, Second Page: Iron Gun!"

It was just as Kaemon had feared. Not even three seconds later, an enhanced Iron Style was layered over his normal brownish skin.

Balling his hand into a fist, Wang Jin pointed it at Kaemon.

"Thinking about it now… it's like a better version of Ultimate Karate Chop's long range version, huh!"

"Don't mess with me! Just because you've grasped the surface of Iron Gun, you think you can win this, Wang?"

"Shut it, man. You're talking like a mad mob villain. Let it happen!"

Kaemon, too, began to charge his Iron Gun. This time, he covered his fists with his fire magic, and poured his entire magic pool into the technique.

In the blink of an eye, the two of them disappeared from their spots, and charged towards each other.

"Die, Wang!"

The moment they entered their comfortable range, they extended both their arms out, and threw their respective Iron Guns.

The sound of their attacks meeting each other perfectly was deafening, it was as if two metal drums were repeatedly being bashed against each other.

It was so terrible, that both combatants found it hard to hear. But nevertheless, they continued their flurry of attacks.

For the first dozen of seconds, Wang Jin and Kaemon were even. Each attack they threw was designed to meet with their opponents' own hits and stop them in their tracks.

It was only after crossing the half-minute mark that they both started to slow down.

As a way of circumventing the "overheat" mechanic that came with Iron Gun, both Wang Jin and Kaemon would often remove the Iron Style covering their limbs, and continue fighting.

"Haha! Can you keep this up, Wang?!" Kaemon screamed as he continued punching.

"I don't know, can you?!"

The sight was very reminiscent of a certain two buff men launching invisible flurries of punches, each one contending with the other.

But in this case, Wang Jin's superior physical became the turning point of thid encounter.

Slowly but surely, Kaemon was slowing down. And eventually, he would stop.

On the other hand, Wang Jin seemed to be doing well, all things considered.

"No! No?! How can you use it so efficiently?!"

"See ya later, Kaimon!"

That was it. Two seconds later, Kaemon mistakenly judged an attack from Wang Jin and threw his fist slightly lower than it needed to be.

His attack slid against the underside of Wang Jin's, leaving it unattended and free.

With a loud crack, the free fist attack shot forward, and made contact with Kaemon's face.

That was all Wang Jin needed. Pouring out all of the energy he could gather, he forced himself to launch the most amount of Iron Guns he could do.

It was home free. Kaemon was left to take the full brunt of Wang Jin's attacks, and he, too, was launched backwards and into the ocean behind him.

"See you in the Spirit Realm, Kaemon."

Well, would you look at that. Wang Jin finally said his name right.
