"Speak up boy!" Derek snorted disdainfully while walking around the weak dwarf
Both dwarfs and beast men watching this were shaken, unsure of how to respond. Normally, people like Thorin would be within the city walls, where it's safe.
So why was he positioned in a mere fortress?

He raised his hand, his palm crackling with the power of death as he swung down, but froze midway as he sensed danger looming.
"God of Death, You have gone too far this time!" A furious cry shook the heavens as a figure shot out of the second Fortress, shooting towards Derek.
"Gimli?" Thorin muttered in shock as he looked towards that direction, his eyes blazing with rejuvenation.
Derek looked in that direction with a deep frown as he remembered Thalgar's words regarding his brothers.
