Activities began bustling within Linchester as new orders were received. In a tent at the center of Linchester was Kaido whose upper half was bandaged and left exposed while Lucy sat beside him, gazing at him deeply.
"He wants us to press the attack but in a very effective way. We are not sacrificial tools anymore. Instead, it feels like both sides are actually fighting a war to win." Klien said with a deep frown.
Lucy heard this and frowned deeply, it felt like they were deviating from the original plan and getting dragged into a war between gods but they are nothing more than pawns in the hands of these gods.
Huff!
Klien exhaled deeply before looking at his surrounding with a calm look on his face.
"Any other news we should know of?" Klien asked with a raised eyebrow while gazing at the kneeling shadow mage, whose face was covered with a hoody.
Hmmm...
The messenger hesitated initially as if pondering to release the information before speaking.
