Chapter 3: Dominating the Field

"Welcome to the second round" Li Shen said in a serious tone

"The round is broken into two parts, first part is to measure your cultivation level and the second is to fight beasts" Li Shen said calmly

"The more beasts you defeat the better it is but remember even though you are virtual, that does not mean you won't be hurt and once you do get hurt you will be eliminated and the longer it gets dragged for, the stronger they get" Li Shen said with a smile

"Alright first of all I would warn you that the first beast is a Blood Hound which is at the second Realm so those who can't beat them get out!" Li Shen roared

Hearing this many people went to the back except 5 people besides Wither

"System do you think they are the other sins?" Wither said in his mind

[Host , I have analysed them and by far it seems that only Lust and Wraith are present here]

"Those sins already?!" Wither was stunned

[Host, There is only wrath and greed here and others should be found later on]

"I see" Wither said to himself and looked back at the stadium

The first person was a guy who was bulky

"2nd Realm of Body Forging, pls step on the platform" A robotic voice rang

"Hahahhha look at me I am the king bow to the king!" The man stepped on the platform and said loudly

"Ugh Another idiot who thinks themselves great" Wither said with disappointment in his eyes

[Host is right, this man will be done in no time]

"What do mean by don-" As soon as wither was about to ask, a red buzzer rang

He looked back and saw the same man lying on the ground unconscious with a wind rabbit on his back

"Is this what disappointment looks like?" Wither said with his eyes twitching

"What a sore loser!"

"Hhahaha king ? You are a peasant!"

"Imagine being high and mighty just to be destroyed by a rabbit"

All kinds of ridicules and comments kept coming from the crowd

"Alright... Next" Li Shen said with a look of disappointment

It was a young boy in his twenties

"I don't wanna!" The boy Said and ran back

"Is this really hell?" Wither was speechless

[Host, even though I have never seen hell why does this feel like children's playing games?]

"Maybe because it is" Wither said with yet another disappointed face

One after another everyone kept coming up and falling down

1hour later,

Only three people including wither stood

"Alright next!" Li Shen said

It was a guy who was ten and almost as tall as wither was

"He should be Wrath" Wither muttered to himself

"System scan them please" Wither muttered again

[Host, there are a few beasts of level 2,level 3 and some of level 4 and level 5]

"What about the people?" Wither said with a doubtful look

[Host pls don't ask the system for the obvious]

"3rd Realm of Body Forging realm, pls proceed" A robotic voice said

Wither instantly looked at the direction

It was a girl in her 8 like wither wearing a green dress and a flower hairpin and had a pleasant white skin tone with a few scales on her arms

[Author note: There is no such things as skin tags or moles since the characters are far from being humans so pls do not think wrongly]

The girl stepped on the platform and stood in a fighting stance

The gate which was full of red eyes opened and a huge number of wind rabbits rushed out of it

"Haiyah!" The girl said and kicked a rabbit which was thrown 10m away and missing the head

She kept attacking all the rabbits one after another some even ran but they were also killed

The second gate was opened, the silver railings made a metallic sound when moving and a group of ferocious beasts came out

"Shadow Wolves?!" Wither was stunned

Shadow Wolves were known to be a vicious pack who will eat the target entirely and won't even leave their bones

The girl began attacking again but this time, the movement was different

She kept changing the direction of kicks and made different angles with them

The wind wolves kept attacking but their attack was not very strong as they kept getting destroyed

The beasts eventually died down and the golden cage opened

"Damn Golden Back Apes!" The crowd was in a haul

[Warning! This apes are in the same realm as the host]

"I am in the 4th realm!" Wither was stunned

Golden Black Apes were known to have a strong offense and defence and considered extremely vicious

When the apes arrived on the ground, the girl began to say something and suddenly the black hair turned into whitish colour with a cyan tint at the bottom of it and the hair turned into a lighter black colour

She then ran at full speed and jumped on the head of the ape and then she used all her strength to attack it causing the ape to roar and become wild

The ape began to smash everything and caused all the surrounding beasts to get out of control and destroyed everything

The other participants including the bulky man were also caught off guard and were surrounded by a bunch of apes

"Gosh did she just make the leader to berserk?!" Wither was stunned

This was the first time he has seen someone this stupid

A ape appeared behind wither and tried to smash him but wither jumped up and kicked the arms away then he kicked the legs causing the ape to go immobile and smashed the chest causing the heart to stop

This scene caused the surrounding apes to get even more enraged as they began to rush at wither

Looking at the incoming horde, wither took a breath in and out and then rushed at the horde at full speed

He jumped over the head of one ape to another while making the enraged ones to go immobile

He ran at full speed and kicked some apes in the way making them move 20m away and fall unconscious

The leader ape upon seeing Wither roared fiercely and attacked the girl and then threw her at wither while rushing behind

"Gosh is this the scene of a movie or something?! Well whatever!" Wither muttered and jumped to catch the girl

He then let her down and once again rush towards the ape

The ape roared and punched at wither who countered it with another punch

Book!

The dust and gravel were shaken in the virtual world

Outside the virtual world,

"Dean what's going on?!" Li Shen said with a puzzled expression

"The apes are enraged due to the lack of planning and are now rushing at the students" Dean explained

"They are virtual so why are they not stopping?!" Li Shen in a angry tone

"I got the report that due to the apes getting enraged they can't be controlled and the system will only send them out once they get hit but there are such a huge load of requests that the system crashed and they will only be out once they are able to defeat the leader ape" Dean explained

Li Shen also looked at the Dean but he couldn't do anything

"Roar!!" A sudden roar caused them both to look at the screen

They saw a young boy about 8-9 fighting the leader ape

"Is he the one you are interested in?" Lin Shen asked with a puzzled face

"It's indeed him but I never thought he is also good at fighting other than just literature " Dean smiled and looked at the fight

The ape was continuously getting bombarded by the barrage of punches from wither

The defence was very high but such a large number of attacks caused cracks to appear on the armour

Crack! Crack!

Cracking sounds could be headed as the Armour started to break all over it's body

The ape roared and was about to smash wither again when suddenly it looked down and wither was gone

The ape looked around the venue trying to find him but it couldn't

"Trying to find me?" Wither said while standing on the head of the ape

The ape was stunned and was about to shook him off when suddenly a sound echoes

"Crack!"

It was the sound of bones breaking and the next moment the leader fell down dead

All the other apes saw this and were terrified for their life so all of them looked at wither at the same time including the boy and some other participants who were lucky to survive till now

Wither looked at the direction and all the apes began to run back frantically not Caring about their deceased leader at all

This scene caused all the spectators including the Dean to become speechless

"That boy is so young yet so powerful!" The Dean said with a smile

"He will be the strongest among our clan when he grows up" Li Shen said and the Dean nodded

"The overhaul has ended teleporting all the participants to the real world" a robotic voice said and everyone began to be shrouded in a light and disappeared

Outside the virtual world,

"Ugh finally it's over" Wither said with a exhausted look

This fight caused alot of stress to him as he had yet to stabilize his realm

"On the plus side I have stabilized my realm" Wither smiled

"Ugh where am I?" The girl beside him said

"Yo mrs.dummy" Wither teased her

"What did you say?!" The girl was furious

"Dummy because you are too stupid" Wither said in a serious tone

"How dare you?!" The girl was extremely enraged

"Why are you mad at me? Look at what you caused!" Wither said in a angry voice

The girl looked around and saw all the people who were seriously wounded lying on the ground

"How did this happen?" The girl was speechless

"You could have enraged anything but you chose to enrage the leader of not for me i doubt anyone would have been alive" Wither said with a disappointed look

"Also why isn't your hair going back?" I

Wither asked with a suspicious look

"It's my natural hair and the one before was painted bcs i don't want the public to know who I am" She said in a calm tone

"But you saw me so..." The girl was getting ready to attack Wither

"Yeah I don't care really unlike you I have been living on a mountain so you can say the possibility of me knowing anything about you is negative " Wither said in a calm voice

"You don't care about the fact I am from the mist family?!" The girl was stunned

"My goal is to get stronger not to care about what others do" Wither sighed and got up

"Where are you going?" She asked

"What kind of question is that? I am hungry so am. Going to eat something" Wither said in a low voice

"But the placement..." She was about to complete her sentence when wither interrupted

"Well look at the screen it's there anyways bye" Wither said and walked away

She looked at the screen and was stunned
