CHAPTER 4: THE HEART OF MAGIC

On one of the expeditions, diamonds that possessed their own light found inside the crater of an active volcano, those dragons took them with them.

Along the way they had no encounter with enemies, it was a journey of reconnaissance in new lands.

Arriving at the castle, they took their stones to the laboratory that was made up of different species, who examined it.

As they experimented with stones containing magic, they noticed that it was absorbed by those stones.

One by one they lost their magic, eventually leaving only one. No one dared touch her, yet DRAKO, the king, made the decision to take a chance.

If anything happened, they should beg him together, if they wanted to end the war with those dragons, he believed that stone was an opportunity.

That mighty dragon wrapped that stone between his claws and the stone cast out his power upon him.

DRAKO, endured a terrible pain that came out of every pore of his being.

Becoming one with the power of stone.

All surprised to see their king full of magic, they decided to study it more.

They called it: the heart of magic.

They found that by placing it in a vessel of water, that stone expelled its magic, so they took each of the councillors from that vessel, gaining more power to protect their kingdom, thus all in the kingdom drank water from the stone.

The dragons of ANCALAGON, upon learning of that existence, tried many times to steal it without success, those beings had gained great power.

For thousands of years they would hide in the shadows of those islands lost at sea.

At this time, DRAKO, the king they had chosen, was at the best age to mate, his youth and strength was at his best, so he asked the council for permission to take a wife, married IMOOGI, who was his friend from a young age and his teammate of yesteryear.

Joy came to the kingdom a few years after the first incubation, the firstborn of the king they called DRAKE and 3 brothers who hatched in the following days (NARVAL, FAE and RONG, the only female), have hatched after a period of 8 months.

With them, security in the castle has been increased.

It's been thousands of years, anyway, those dragons can come back and end everyone's future if they let their guard down.

During this time, new species were born.

Among them was one that caught the attention of some protective species... that species walked on two legs and went upright, they were beings with their own reasoning, they broke with the traits of the other species, they lacked skin covered with thick hair, so they managed to dress up in the animals they hunted to survive.

Some learned how to use rock shapes to make cutting utensils.

This species also caught the attention of harpies and manticore, who loved the taste of their meat.

So they were victims of constant attacks, to such an extent that they agreed to the council, to place some dragons in the area for their protection.
