Emily stopped talking and quietly sat aside, watching the doctor treat Herry's facial wounds.
She maintained a calm demeanor, which barely reassured Logan.
Grace wanted to argue further, but Logan's firm grip on her shoulder reminded her not to cause a scene in public, so she held her tongue.
"Are Herry's parents here?" the nurse shouted from the corridor.
Logan gave Grace a deep look, seemingly a warning, then turned and replied, "Yes, I'm Herry's father."
"Oh, he said he needs to use the restroom. Can you take him?"
"Sure, sure. Is his facial wound fully treated?"
"Yes, it's all taken care of. You did the right first aid immediately, so his injury isn't serious. He still feels some pain, but he's fine now. He'll need to take anti-inflammatory medication for the next month and be careful to avoid infection for a full recovery."
Logan smiled with relief, "Thank you."
"No need to thank me, it's our job. You should thank the person who administered the first aid."
