CHAPTER 1

CHAPTER 1 

Roger found that he was a peasant in the nation of Astoria. The life of the peasants was really bad as they had to pay 50% of their harvest. The world was not so developed and the forest and lands were many. The limit to development was not due to land, but was due to manpower. He did not have to care for food as his body had unlimited physical strength. But he really could not do without food. He decided to go to the forest to get more food. 

Roger walked with a wooden spear he had made. He had used the iron knife of the village to make some spears as he had borrowed in exchange for some eggs. He looked at the forest and walked inside. He kept waking straight as he was not scared of anyone and he was not scared of poison. 100 times the speed would mean than 10,000 times the power at impacts (1/2mv2). He could take nearly 20 million kg with 100 times the speed and his speed had reached 4500 km/hr which was more than 10 times the speed of sound. Just by running at full speed, he could destroy an army. He walked through the forest searching for some hunt. Today was the first day and he had come alone. The villagers warned him against snakes and other reptiles and against boars and wolves. He did not care much and went against their suggestions. He had the power to increase his speed and he was not scared. He named the speed that caused impact on the external environment based on increased speed type1 and the one that did not cause impact on environment based on increased speed, but based on actual speed the type 2..

Roger looked at the birds and did not care for them. He did not know how to cook at all. He finally saw a bunch of rabbits and he ran activating type 2 and caught the rabbits and killed them. He tried to kill them twisting their necks and found that it was ugly and he threw that rabbit away. He could only kill the other rabbits using the spear point and pushing through their necks. He still failed. He could only take it after kill them such that their heads were ugly. He took some ropes like leaves and made a basket and put the body in the basket. He returned with 12 rabbit bodies. He found that some wolves were following him and killed the one at front and kicked all the others away using type 2 speed. He returned to the village. A single wolf was more than enough.

The villagers were happy to see Roger coming with a wolf body. This had meant that he was strong and their village had a proper warrior. They looked at the rabbit meat and wolf meat and came ot him. Roger looked at the villagers and smiled. He thought about an idea and said, "1 rabbit for anyone who is able to do my job for three days. I need 5 rabbits. One-fourth of the of wolf meat for anyone who can skin the wolf and make the food."

They came in huge numbers and finally the Mills family decided to take on the offer as they were the strongest in the village. They had many children and less land to do the work. They were the ones similar to village chief and it was not much problematic too. They were not fools to make a person who could come out of the forest alive, without using bow and arrow, with a wolf corpse. John looked at them and smiled. The Mills family had made a deal with others to lent them some tomato for taking all the benefit. The basic idea of Mills family was to go to the town to sell the meat to get more money and hence more food. 

Roger ate the cooked rabbits and ate the whole wolf meat. The last bit of salt was used and the herbs used to make the dish was really tasty. Roger looked at them and smiled and gave some food to the children and all of them. He was not going to give them every time he gets the food. Ryan Mills came to him and said, "What are you going to do with the wolf skin?" 

Roger asked, "Is there someone here who can make it into a dress?"

Ryan said, "There is a seamstress in the nearby village."

Roger said, "I will get some more wolf meat and wolf skin tomorrow. I will pay for the service using the wolf meat."

Ryan said, "It would be better to sell it to nobles for now. They will try to get it from you when you have it. It is hard to make a good one from the village. The best one to make the dress is at the town and it is hard to get it."

Roger asked, "How much money will I get?"

Ryan said, "You can get a silver or two. It can be exchanged for 15kg rice or 30kg millet."

Roger said, "Get me the silver. Next time onwards, I will give you half of the wolf meat for each wolf skin sold."

Ryan said in happiness, "Yes. I will make sure about it."

Roger looked at the three silver coins and smiled. He used his space to store the items. This world did not even have a demon king to kill. Roger got more wolves and skinned their skins. He went and sold to the merchant himself and had more than 40 silver coins. He looked at them and found that they were really rich. He bought himself some leather dress and bought a steel sword with a sheet. It cost him 3 gold coins. (1 gold coin=10 silver.). Roger returned back to the village with food and sword.

Roger did not have any a method of practising the sword. He could only create a wooden man from the movies he had seen and try the basic moves of chopping, blocking, stabbing and parrying. He did not find any method at the city and found that the traditional method of practise needed to get the teacher and they were charged by at least 100 gold coins per week. He was not interested in the week ones and wanted to learn from the best. He was not too worried as he knew that he could learn the methods easily by just watching it.

Roger kept eating the food and practising. He got the information that there was no method to rise to the top. Roger found that no new knights were to be hired and he could not leave this place as his identity card was at the city. The town officials did not have the power to recruit soldiers and he was not interested to be a security guard. He could take the kingdoms examination for the royal academy and try to become an official but he did not have any books and did not know the method of knowledge of this world. He could join the army to rise to the top and then try to become an official. With both positions and merits, he should be able to become a noble. The problem is that if there is no war, it will be waste of time to join the army. If such a situation arises, he could only try to be a robber and try to become the head of the bandits. He could only try to fight against them the government and with his power, he could only rebel and fight against them. He will rise to the top no matter what. He is already tired with the life where his whole life is dictated by others. He will fight to his full freedom to become stronger.

John knew from the world information that there was a war going to occur in the future. He just has to stay here for two years before he could start his layout. John collected a lot of chicken and let them be under the house to host them. He created a bigger house and let them be hidden in his house. A hen would give an egg per day and when he increased the speed by hundred times, they would give hundred eggs a day. He had 30 hens and had more than 3000 eggs a day in average due to his power letting he hen work in the optimal stage. 3 eggs could be sold for a copper coin and 3000 would get 10 gold coins. With ten gold coins per day, he could get the money necessary in 100 days. He would collect the eggs in a while. 

John also went to the forest to find some plants that would give fruits eatable by humans. He found that tree and increased its speed. He found that the fruits would be grown continuously. He found that the beings that was used for production, would work in the direction of production only when he let them be under the skill. John under doubt took a single wheat plant and let it be under the 100 times speed and found that the wheat was overflowing in due time instead of the ripened wheat tree stopping after ripening. This was a good method.

John went to the market and sold a lot of eggs. He wore a mask and sold it in the city and found some merchant to sell it to them. He found that the fruits were costly but the market was low, unless he use it to create wine. He did not how to create wine and decided to create wheat. He let the wheat crop be held upside down in his room and let it grow. It was more than around 2 hectares and he found that it took more than 100 day to ripen as the germination and growth stage was skipped. He got 1000 kg per day after speeding up. He decided to build a bigger house and create more land to get more food. He could get 20 copper coins per day for wheat. He found that it was useless in terms of the potential of the universe and decided to build a bigger house to get more food. He created big enough to host wheat crop equivalent of 200 hectares by letting it lie on top of each other and collecting it directly to the space. He exchanged eggs from other places that was fertilized and let it be born. The male was killed and female forced to lay eggs.

John would run at full speed to reach other cities to sell the items to get more gold. He had kept continuing this method for a long period of time. He also learnt the method of forging and bought an anvil and hammer. He went to the mountains and got some metal ore and created a proper sword as he was able to control his health to the pin point. He understood how to use carbon to make it carbon steel and made a full body armour. He made a lot of swords in the fun time. 

He also learnt some other items and the method of making wine. He had earned more than ten thousand gold coins and found that the people and soldiers were moving for the war. He decided to go to see the governor for becoming the baron.
