The Shang Qing Sect is insanely capable with as many powerhouses as there are clouds. It is one of the controlling forces that dominates Yuezhou.
Naturally, there exists many different paths one can follow inside this extremely capable force. Or rather, there are many different roles its pupils and descendants get to choose and follow.
With the cultivation path as the most respectable and the main path, the Shang Qing Sect has four peaks in total and is a great place to cultivate. After all, capabilities is the reason why people can stand tall in the Taoism community.
Then, there are the paths of alchemy, crafts, and ancient arrays. Compared to the path of cultivation, these three paths are more lacking in status.
If a cultivator feels that he or she is more talented in one of these paths, he or she can pick one and join that one.
