Chapter 3

"What to do? I guess since that guy said that this is their territory, I might be able to gather more information from that settlement. These people seemed nothing more than just simple bandits."

Said Dary, and he started walking. As he was walking, he unconsciously began to smile.

"It has been years since I saw humans... In that previous world, there were no humans; although it was quite small compared to earth, it still took some time to navigate around it... Now taht I think about the area seems quite plain, the bandits might be hiding somewhere around; well not taht care about them."

After a few minutes of walking, he could see a larger city wall. He could enter without any sort of problem, and he started walking around the streets. The streets were quite lively.

"This city seems to have quite an adequate level of protection. Judging by the sheer number of people, could it be some sort of major city?"

Thought Dary as he was strolling the streets. Soon he found a building which caught his attention, a large arena.

"Let's go in some time later and have some fun. I am intrigued!"

After going around the town, Dary managed to gather valuable information.

"It seems that in a kingdom called Re-Estize, there is some sort of tomb, and many adventurers are ready to invade it soon. I am always down for tomb raiding; maybe I will find something interesting. Let's go there and let me see what it has."

Dary left the city, and he walked away so that no one could see him. Then his armour vanished, and instead, rags appeared on him, completely covering even his face; only his glowing eyes were visible through the rags.

"Now, let's take up the pace! It is already getting dark, but I will still conceal myself just to be safe... Fly!"

Dary was lifted from the ground and started flying South West of the city. As he was flying, he gradually increased his altitude. After flying for some time, he noticed another city under him.

"I don't know why, but I can't help but be excited! The last time I had this feeling, I found that dragon in the previous world."

Said Dary, and once he looked down. He noticed campfires and tents, and what these tents were around shocked him.

"The Great Tomb Of Nazarick?! What the hell?! It must be a coincidence there is no way.... but now that I think about it, I am technically my own character, so it might be possible... Either way, let's stay vigilant, I know I got stronger, but I don't know if I could survive alone there. Those foolish people who invade must have already died."

Stated Dary and extended his right hand, and a ring appeared on his middle finger. The ring had a large red gem engraved into it.

"With this ring, I should be able to teleport anywhere within the tomb if it really is the same. Alright, let's test it; I will try to go to the sixth floor, to the amphitheatre."

The ring grew up, and he found himself in the centre of a large building, an arena. Before he could have done anything, a group of four people got teleported right next to him. Two men and two women.

"What the?"

Thought Dary to himself but was surprised because a small dark elf landed right next to them.

"Our challenge tonight is five foolish humans that dared to infiltrate the Great Tomb Of Nazarick, and against them, we have the Supreme One: Lord Ainz Ooal Gown."

A skeleton walked into the arena along with a man in underwear wearing a bucket as a helmet with two holes for his eyes. Also, the man had a katana on his side and always kept one of his hands on it. The man was staring continuously at Dary.

"And who might you be?!"

Demanded the skeleton pointing at Dary, who remained quiet and just looked around and thought.

"It seems the NPCs have changed; they seem to be more "alive" than before. You have prepared well, my friend, if you really are the one I know... You have two guardians next to you, and two extra are watching."

The four humans were shocked and didn't even question how Dary got here, and the silence was only broken by the dark elf.

"Hey you, worm, The supreme one asked you!"

"Don't you think you are disrespecting me a bit... Aura? Also, to your question, "Lord Ainz Ooal Gown", I gave permission to myself; I hope you don't mind...Satoru Suzuki!"

Stated Dary and pointed at the skeleton as he smiled.

"IMPUDENT WORM!"

Shouted the man next to the skeleton and was about to cleave Dary's head off, but the katana's blade was caught by Dary effortlessly. After stopping the weapon, Dary let go of it and kicked the man in the chest, sending him sliding backwards.

"I will save one of you, so choose wisely."

Looked Dary back at the four confused humans; however, it didn't last long as the man jumped right back at Dary, and a vampire landed next not far from the skeleton.

"I take it that this is a declaration of war! I expected more from you, especially from you, Vordo!"

Dary looked behind him once again and noticed that three out on the floor were pointing at the same person. She was the magic caster of the team. Dary smiled and looked back at his opponent, whose blade almost reached him. A red sword appeared in his grip, and he swiftly used it to block the incoming blade. Dary quickly pulled his sword back and used its handle to hit the man in front of him in the stomach, then dashed back and grabbed the shoulder of the chosen human.

"Goodbye, everyone!"

Shouted Dary and then vanished along with the girl.

"Lord Ainz, please allow me to follow and dispose of them!"

Said the vampire, however; much to everyone's surprise, the skeleton called Ainz fell to his knees and just stared at the ground.

"Lord Ainz!"

Shouted the dark elf, the man and the vampire.

"Impossible; I have seen him die right in front of me! I watched him being buried!"

The man and the vampire looked at one another and nodded. And right after that, Ainz stood up, and a greenish aura appeared around him for a moment.

"Oh, I apologise. It seems I lost my composure; this event was greatly meaningful and valuable."
