Chapter 154 (Jacob and Stefanie's Relationship)

Landry, along with all of Camilla's ex-classmates was stupefied when they heard Jacob and Stefanie speaking to each other. At that moment, Landry finally discovered the reason why Jacob could have free meals at the hotel.

A smile flashed across Landry's face when he asked Stefanie, "Are you jealous?"

"As if! Why would I be jealous?" Stefanie rolled her eyes and continued, "My dad has been asking for you recently! He wants you to join us for a meal at home!"

"In another few days, perhaps. I've got my hands full recently!" Jacob rejected.

The guys at the scene were all staring at Jacob with envy. They were dumb founded by the fact that he had just rejected an offer to dine with the McMillan family.

A meal with the McMillan family could potentially turn their life around for the better. They could not understand why Jacob would reject such a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
