Third Contract

Leon unsummoned the tiger. It wasn't good at hiding by itself and was too big to run around with. He had the Frost snake hide in his hood as continued to follow them.

They stopped and started talking. Leon moved until he felt he was at the border of their detection range, he then hid and waited.

"Young Master let us go find a spot to set up camp. We should prepare until they come back."

"Very Well."

Bly was now left alone with another man. He stood against the tree and made his Blood Spirit Fairy use spells. He made it attack trees and small beast moving by.

Leon watched with all his senses working. He heard the flapping of a bird's wing. He turned to look up and saw a flock of sparrow like birds flying in their direction.

However he wasn't the only one. Bly and the man turned as well.

Among the birds flying at the very back of the flock one of bird stood out. It had a few white feathers and bright ruby eyes completely contrasting all the other birds that only had sanguine colored feathers and eyes.

Bly saw not seeing the uniqueness. Saw the small weak Bird. He sent a soul vibration to the Blood Spirit Fairy. It said a chant formed a sword of Blood and launched it at the Bird in the back.

Leon seeing this didn't wait any longer. It should be after this Bly decided to contract the Bird because it was a variant.

Leon ran after the flock and used the eruption rune to blast off the ground. He jumped high enough that he was halfway to the birds that were more than a thousand meters high. The Frost snake knowing what to do, launched off Leon's head while using stealth.

In the air the Bird was hit by the Blood magic. It started to fall. The Frost snake reached it before it could build up any speed. It wrapped around it. Then dragged it down as it fell. The bird was the furthest behind none of the other birds noticed its swift disappearance.

Leon landed on the ground. He caught the two. Then ran into the forest Bly was sure to come after him. And that Bly did.

Bly had immediately ran in Leon's direction when he saw him in the air.

Leon used Formless aura to hide and ran as fast as he could. When he was sure he was far enough he jumped to the side on a tree and climbed up to the top. He then took out the chain and scythe. He made the Frost snake hold the unconscious bird.

Bly and the man kept running. They continued under Leon's tree thinking he was ahead.

Leon seeing them threw the scythe and pulled. He controlled it with soul energy as well.

The man that had been running behind Bly had the scythe come and tie around his neck. Before he knew it he was pulled up unable to call for help. Bly continued to run unaware.

In the tree Leon took out a sword and killed the man with a quick stab in the heart. He took the man's spatial ring and picked up the Snake and Bird sandwich.

He left the man's body in the tree and ran towards an isolated area.

"Bly is lucky I still have a use for him, or i would have made sure this scythe had killed him."

Bly was the Bloodling Clan's head's son. He had an important position. If he killed him now the Bloodling Clan would be alerted and would have used a secret method to figure out it was him. He didn't have a way to hide it. He also had plans of using him in the near future.

Leon didnt go back to the city as he wouldn't be able to hide the Bird. The guards wouldn't stop him but as the whole city was run by the Bloodling Clan if Bly asked they would surely tell Bly about him.

He found a covered area. He summoned the Tiger and has the Snake release the Bird.

Leon judged the unconscious bird in front of him. It was a variation that was for sure he could see why Bly chose to contract it. But seeing its white feathers Leon thought they had a lot more to them then the eye can see.

He decided to contract it. He sat down and cultivated the Nine Thrones Soul technique. He had the Frost Snake and Tiger snake watch the Bird.

They all agreed. The three heads surrounded the Bird and stared it. Leon face palmed. "That wasn't what I meant by watch. Just make sure when it wakes up you don't let it escape."

The Beasts realized this and nodded.

Leon quickly cultivated. Behind him three thrones formed. Two were vibrant while one was dull and not completely formed. The Flowing Blood Forest had a lot more energy in it compared to the Desert.

The desert was a waste land while this are a had been turned into a holy land for Blood cultivators because of the Blood of the Blood Demon Dragon. It also had an abundance of Soul energy.

Leon easily broke through to the third level. His three thrones solidified. They moved and formed a triangle behind him. He summoned his soul book and it changed. Not much only a few runes changed.

Leon was satisfied. The Soul book had finally leveled up. From normal grade it broke Into rare grade. He had been expecting this to happen. With how strong it was he was sure it would level up soon.

Leon didn't spend time on it he opened it and saw through it. The first page had a dull picture of the Phoenix egg, as it was too far away the book couldn't contact it so it was dull. The next page had changed.

It was the page of the tiger. When the tiger was a Fire Tiger the circle had a picture of the Fire Tiger sleeping in an area filled with fire. The border had been reddish-orange and had gold etchings on it.

Now the circle had picture of the evolved Pink-Flame Serpentine Tiger sleeping on a tree made of pink Fire in a world of white. It was cuddled up with the snake head next to his as it slept on the branch. The border was a whitish pink. With gold etchings still there. These etchings were formed because of the Blood Oath he formed with it.

On the next page was the Frost snake. It was seen sleeping in a world of white snow. It's border was an Ice blue. It had sculptures of Dragon made of ice on the two sides of it.

Finally it opened to the fourth page which was blank. Leon couldn't open any more pages.

Looking through the book he didn't see that much of a change. The name of the beast had been added and the pictures were more realistic. The Phoenix had still not been given a name the tiger was given Pink-Flame Serpentine Tiger. It was what he had decided to call it. He had asked the tiger and tail if they waned to change it they said they were okay with it.

The Forst snake also didn't have a name. Which surprised Leon.

"It looks like there is a lot more to it then I thought."

Leon stopped checking his soul book and wen to the Bird. It had woken up but was too scared to get up. It felt the Serpentine Tiger and Frost snake stare at it. Leon went up and dropped his Blood on to it.

The contract quickly formed.

On the blank fourth page a circle formed and a bird- it was a ruby eyed bird with white feathers peeking out of the majority sanguine color feathers- could be seen standing in an empty world of red. It had a red border matching nicely with the picture. It also had its name written at the bottom of the page it read: Blood Sparrow.

Leon summoned the Sparrow.

The small Bird as big as his fist formed. It sat in Front of him and stared at the Serpentine Tiger and Frost snake.

It the tigers tail and as well it's own head stared back. The tail even stretched out forward looking at it form all direction. The Frost snake hissed at it. Then jumped on Leon's head uninterested.

Leon honestly felt distressed by the fact he had all baby beast with barely any fighting power. The Frost snake was the strongest but was around quarter a meter long and could barely do any damage in a real fight. The tiger didn't even know how to attack and now he was given a bird that had just learned how to fly. Leon already decided he was training them after this.

Leon looked at the Blood Sparrow. He couldn't see any thing unique about it. He reached out and touched one of the white feathers. He felt his body react he jumped back.

In his body the slaughter qi had reacted. Leon knew what it was. The bird had a horrendously low Holy element Bloodline in it, and a high level one at that.

Leon was amazed. He couldn't help but think Bly was a useless cultivator. He evolved a beast with holy blood into the evil element. Leon felt like laughing just thinking about it.

"No wonder it's achievements were so low. Looks like you two got a competitor and it won't be easy for you to keep up."

Leon couldn't identify the Bloodline other then it's high level. He had only met one beast with the holy element. It was the Phoenix he met in his past life. After feeling the Holy energy from the Sparrow he though it was comparable to that of the Phoenix.

Leon started his survey "What abilities do you know?"

The Blood Sparrow looked at Leon blankly not understanding. Leon cringed. "It hasn't formed a spiritual awareness so it can't understand me. Other then a few simple orders it can't do anything."

"I have to help it form it. It hasn't even reaches one redstar... I really need to train it."
