Rose Fairy Garden (2)

Far away Leon's other beasts fought and killed various plant like beasts. They all had created seprate piles to collect the corpses of the beasts they had hunted.

The Dragon and chimera had similar sized piles with the Ifrit right after them.

The lightning Griffin looked at the other three piles and then at the pitiful ten beasts it had killed. Even with its instant casting it wasn't able to kill beasts in a single hit. Because of that it would take to long on just one beast compared to the others. Then with the others just mowing down all the beasts it could barely find some for itself.

The Griffin then turned to see the enormous blood like halo with the Blood Angel standing in it fighting Leon. It felt even weaker. It went back to looking for most beasts.

Back to the present, The butterfly flew towards Leon, seeing him injured it sat on his head and released a green aura helping him.

Ariel continued to write in her spell book, she had won the fight but internally she had lost. She didn't have memories before her evolution into an blood angel but she knew the Blood God's formation she had used was given to her by Leon. He could have used it on himself but he gave it to her. Before it's use she was always at the disadvantage, So she felt like she had lost.

As she thought about this, The blood angel wondered what she was like before the evolution. What was Leon's relationship with her past self?

She quickly moved away from the thought and continued writing.

The rest of the day passed quickly and the beasts had returned.

"Times up, Let's see who had the most beasts hunted."

Leon then followed each beast to its pile and collected the corpses into his spatial ring. Luckily most of his spatial ring was empty so he was able to take in all of them.

"So I've counted all the corpses and know who the winner is." Leon said looking at the beasts. Even the other three that hadn't participated were excited.

"The winner is the Cold Mist Ghost Dragon." Leon said.

The Chimera called bullshit. It wanted a recounting.

"Fine, I'll tell you the numbers, Cold Mist Ghost Dragon killed fifty six beasts. The Evil Chimera killed fifty five. The Ifrit killed thirty one and the lightning Griffin killed eighteen."

The beasts nodded, That were the numbers they had gotten. The Chimera was annoyed the Dragon had gotten higher then it but it didn't show it any more. It sat on its lotus and slept.

Leon looked at the embarrassed Griffin and added, "If this was a match on the quality of the corpses you would have gotten a higher position, all of the beasts you killed are very rare beasts with high potential."

The Griffin felt a little better. It told Leon that it had used its Basilisk eyes to look for beasts and found most of its beast hidding really well.

Leon then went up to the Dragon and asked, "So what is your wish?"

The Dragon looked at Leon and said in its Dragon Tongue, "I would like you to give me a name."

It then added through the blood oath telepathy, "Give a name to everyone here as well."

Leon looked at all the beasts here. He understood what the Dragon wanted him to do however he spoke to the Dragon through that blood oath, "I'm sorry but I can't give everyone a name, other then you, the Phoenix, The blood angel and the Chimera who are special because of the blood oath and primal bond so you all are particularly close to me. The other beasts aren't, I won't let them die but they will need to reach a certain level of strength so that I can trust them." Leon said that as he knew he wasn't some type of god that could protect all of his beasts.

Also the fact Leon could possibly contract double the amount of beasts then before, he was more careful with who to contract with the blood oath. He only had the limit of one contract a cultivation realm. Now that his cultivation had slowed down he would contract more beasts but could only choose a few. He had to be sure he chose the most trustworthy and talented ones. So he was watching his beasts and judging them all the time.

The Dragon understood this and asked Leon through the blood oath. Seeing Leon didn't change his mind didn't faze it, all it wanted to do was make Leon realise it supported the fact that he should name his beasts.

Leon nodded and said, "I'll give you a name, Zen, how does that sound?"

"It is fine, then I shall be Zen from now on."

Leon turned to the rest of the beasts, "Let's go back and meet our last member and see how their doing."

"Zen, take us there."

The other beasts got on the Dragon and flew to the Cherry Blossom forest again.
