"Mum am coming" joy shouted. Joy is a college students who's is focus on her studies since her father died. Her mum is a single mum and sells at a bookshop. She couldn't sponsor Joy's education and told her to stop college but joy was persistent a and determined. She signed up for a scholar ship exam and luckily she passed. She has a kid brother.

BACK TO PRESENT

"Please be fast" Mira said (Joy's mum)

"Here the tissue you asked for" joy said

"Thanks dear" Mira said" By the way where's your brother"

"Mum he's busy with his assignment and I will be going back to college tomorrow" joy said.

"Why dear? I thought you would be staying till weekend? And jack misses you a lot" Mira said.

"I know mum. But I have to go to college tomorrow. All my friends are there and jack is gonna be fine. Remember he calls me on the phone? And I will come visiting sometimes" Joy said. Mira chuckled and looked at her daughter who's 22 years old who's in her third year in college.

"Mum are you there" joy said bringing her mum back. "Am fine there. Now go and get your things ready so I will start shouting tomorrow morning" Mira said.

"OK mum." Joy said

Joy's POV

While going to her room she remember she heard her phone ringing while conversing with her mum. She quickly went upstairs and saw on the screen three missed calls

"Maya is gonna kill me!!! What will I tell her now?"

Drops her phone on the bed and brings out her clothes and boxes. She arranges her clothes, takes her bath and falls on the bed.

"Am exhausted" joy said and sleeps off.

Morning

"Morning mum" joy greeted her mum. "Morning dear' Mira responded.

"My luggage is on the car already and am running late mum. We have a class this morning and I can't reach my friends." Joy complained
