Reed waited in the room, eating his freshly cooked lamb. Beside him was the fireplace, the flames danced and cackled, coughing bits of ash into the dark night. Above him the wooden beams creaked and groaned, and outside the wind howled like a hurt child. Reed always had the dream of fighting foes and exploring the outside world. However here in the land of Soal, he would be frowned upon as no one has ever left the comfort of the village. As he stared outside and beyond the latticed windows, he could make out the Alpawa wild, a forest unknown to mankind, where all sorts of creatures roam...
