When Sasuke was fighting a large copy of Juubi and Boruto was fighting Code, Kashin Koji was secretly observing their fight. Code pierced Boruto's body, but a moment later he turned out to be a clone

"Another Kage Bushin? You don't have the courage to face me in person"

"Change with me" - said Momoshiki "I'll show this piece of trash where he belongs"

"No, don't think I'll let you do that"

Sasuke managed to hit and destroy the core placed in the Juubi, and deactivated Susanno.

"There's only you left"

"You underestimate me, Uchiha"

Suddenly, in the place where Sasuke was standing, a Code marker was placed on the ground, and a moment later a portal opened from which another copy of Juubi emerged. Before Sasuke could dodge, the Juubi bit him, turning into a large tree and sealing Sasuke inside it.

"SASUKE-SAN!"

Suddenly Code appeared above Boruto, trying to attack him "Die Boruto!"

Before Code could hit Boruto, Kashin Koji appeared and kicked the red-haired teenager in the face, sending him flying backwards.

"Kashin Koji, I thought you died after the fight with Jigen?"

"You thought wrong"

Kashin Koji grabbed Boruto by the collar and they both disappeared in the smoke.

"Hey, why did you take me, what do you want from me?"

"Boruto, I was watching you from hiding because of my toads, I know about the whole situation. Someone asked me to bring you"

"Wait, you're not from Kara? Why are you helping me at all?"

"I never considered myself a real member of this organization, my job was to spy on them and gather information" Koji explained

"Hello Boruto," said Toneri, who appeared in front of them

"Toneri-san, what are you doing here?"

"Boruto, it's time for you to awaken your doujutsu"

"Doujutsu in the Byakugan sense?"

"No, you may not be aware of it, but you have a dormant doujutsu that I once gave you. Tell me, have you ever seen something strange?"

Boruto remembered the incident with Sumire and Nue.

"Yes, I remember there was something like that, when I woke up a strange eye"

"This doujutsu is called Jougan, try to pour chakra into the eye"

Boruto nodded sending chakra into his eye, then one of his eyes changed, the sclera became black and the pupil became blue

"Now we will test this doujutsu"

Toneri created a dozen or so black balls which he sent at Boruto. The blonde decided to run away, but when he touched the ball, Boruto felt himself becoming weaker and weaker

"These orbs absorb chakra when you touch them"

"Damn, what should I do now?" Boruto thought

At one point, Boruto looked at an empty space in the room and then teleported there

"You have just discovered your first ability, teleportation"

"Wow, amazing"
