New York City, 2014, a little after noon, movements and murmurs were heard in a small alley in a poor neighborhood where the body of a young man with a somewhat unkempt appearance was found lying on the ground surrounded by garbage bags, with some bruises visible to the naked eye on his face but which did not completely hide his good appearance.
Shortly after moving and moaning due to the pain in his body, the young man whose name is Jack Steven, 21 years old, orphan, without money, partner or friends, woke up.
When Jack woke up, he lay still, remembering everything he had experienced for as long as he could remember: discrimination, abuse, mistreatment and injustice, which little by little awakened the hatred that he had been accumulating and holding inside him over the years.
Making a decision out of hatred, Jack set out to take revenge on all those who caused him suffering, leaving aside any morals and principles he may have had, deciding to use all possible means to achieve this goal.
He then got up from the ground enduring the body pain as he began to walk out of the alley.
As he began to think about how and with whom he would begin his revenge while wandering aimlessly through the streets he began to feel hungry and weak since he had hardly eaten anything yesterday before they beat him up and left him lying there.
So he decided to try and find something to eat first to replenish himself before planning and starting his plan.
With the need to feed himself, Jack had to face another problem and that was that he did not have any money to buy something to eat because he was not exactly a person with a home or some food stored at his disposal since he was used to doing small daily jobs to satisfy his basic needs and on days when he could not find any he could only force himself to eat whatever food he found.
Which he did while looking at the outdoor cafes where he quickly grabbed what some customers left unfinished when they left and ran.
Which he had no other option since he could not afford to suffer hunger and weakness living alone on the streets.
So he started heading towards one of the cafes he usually visited which wasn't too far away.
Arriving in front of the cafe, Jack chose to stand in a small park in front of it as he watched, waiting for his chance.
While waiting for about 40 minutes, his chance finally came when one of the customers, after paying the bill, left on the table some slices of bread that he didn't finish eating and a can of Coca Cola which it was not known if it had anything left.
But Jack couldn't afford to waste this opportunity and decided to take action immediately.
Walking over to the now vacated table Jack rather fluently tossed the slices of bread and the can of coke before walking away.
Arriving at the park in front, Jack sat on a bench while he observed what he got, which was nothing more than three slices of bread with butter and a can of Coca Cola that luckily still had some left in it.
Eating what he got and barely calming his hunger, Jack decided to take the moment to think about his plan for revenge.
Thinking about his weak condition and lack of money, Jack thought of all the people he was going to take revenge on and decided to start with one of them.
His name was Tom Baker and he was a person from the slums like him but unlike Jack who lived on the streets Tom had his own house although it was small and in poor condition and he spent his time with the local criminals since apparently he liked crime and intimidating the weak.
Tom was the culprit behind the bumps and bruises on Jack's body. Despite being in better shape than Jack, he was jealous of his appearance, as Tom could barely be called normal-looking, which, along with his penchant for bullying the weak, made him take Jack as the object on which he vented his frustrations.
Knowing that due to his weak and malnourished body he had no chance of defeating Tom head on, much less taking revenge, he had to think about his condition and come up with a plan accordingly.
So he decided to first observe Tom's movements for about 3 days, waiting for some opportunity.
