It did not take Iolana long to figure out that she had been lured into a trap.
No matter which direction she looked, all she saw was endless plains of sand. The rest of the students in their team had scattered about like dust, leaving absolutely no traces behind.
"What do you want?" Iolana gritted her teeth, not hesitating to brandish her two push blades at the two adolescent boys slowly approaching her.
Were she at her full strength, Iolana would not be so worried, however, she had just emerged from the fight of her life against the vorpal ember.
Though she had come out fairly unscathed, the encounter had drained every last wisp of her stamina.
"Calm down," said the dark-blue-haired half of the nefarious duo as they both stopped roughly ten meters away from her.
