Training trip and fight with itachi and kisame

We left off when Naruto left with Sasuke for the training trip. Naruto had stopped Sasuke from going to Orochimaru. I don't remember if I gave Sasuke the curse mark, but I think I did not give it to him at all. So, Sasuke is going to be the summoner of the frogs as well as some bird summonings. 

 Sasuke, Naruto, and Jiraiya left for the three-year training trip, and here we take a time skip. During these three years, Jiraiya mainly trained Sasuke because Naruto did not need much training; he was already strong enough. However, he still trained a bit. You could say it was more for him; he often trains with Kurama, as he knows tons of sealing jutsu and other old jutsu that Jiraiya does not even know existed. Naruto was training with Kurama as well as Jiraiya. In this time, all three of them mastered Sage Mode. Sasuke, instead of using snake summonings, started to use frog summonings like Jiraiya, because Jiraiya was Sasuke's master.

They were also trying to find out about the Akatsuki. Finally, they came across Itachi and Kisame. Sasuke was angry, but Naruto gave him some sense, making him realize the main reason why Itachi massacred the clan. Sasuke agreed to know the complete reason because he knew his brother was not the type to kill to test his own strength. Naruto said, "I'll take the fish guy; take care of your brother." Jiraiya wanted to intervene but had confidence in the strength of his students.

At this time, Sasuke was about to leave for the village in one or two months, and their training was already over. Sasuke took on Itachi, and Naruto took on Kisame. It was not a pleasant day for Kisame at all. Kisame attacked Naruto, trying to deliver a punch because their motive was to capture the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki. However, Naruto did not even dodge as a gust of wind blew Kisame away. As Kisame was about to land, he saw water beneath him. He tried to use it to his advantage, but then he saw a smirk on Naruto's face. His eyes widened as lightning started to go through his veins because there was water, but there was also lightning in it, created by a shadow clone behind Kisame who had made both the water and the lightning.

Kisame, not weak, started to use more of his power, delivering shark-shaped water jutsu. But they didn't even reach Naruto as fire surrounded Naruto in a dome-like shape, growing larger and larger. The fire then transformed into a dragon and dashed towards Kisame. Shocked, Kisame had never seen such jutsu before. "Damn, this kid isn't even using hand signs," he thought as he saw Naruto with his hands in his pockets, staring at him with a bold expression. Kisame tried to dodge the fire dragon but then used his Samehada to absorb it. Naruto raised an eyebrow.

Now you know Naruto is interested in that sword, and he's going to get it. Kisame, angry at the idea that this brat was making fun of him, attacked Naruto again, dashing towards him at top speed and swinging his Samehada at Naruto, trying to cut him in half. Suddenly, Naruto opened his eyes, revealing Sage Mode. Samehada did not want to mess with that chakra and escaped from Kisame's hands, shocking him and creating distance between Naruto and Kisame.

Naruto then said, "Don't let your guard down." Kisame saw a slicing wind tornado engulfing him, cutting his body all over and causing him to scream in pain. Even Samehada did not come to his aid because the tornado was spinning rapidly. After some time, Kisame was sent flying through several trees, his body covered in cuts and bleeding. He tried to summon Samehada, but it was now sealed and could not escape. Without Samehada, Kisame couldn't use his shark jutsu. As he saw Naruto staring into his eyes, Naruto uttered a single word: "Kirin." Clouds formed in the sky, and a lightning dragon struck Kisame, ending him.

Sasuke, observing Naruto's use of the Kirin jutsu, noted that although he originally designed it, Naruto was the first to use it effectively. Meanwhile, the battle between Sasuke and Itachi proceeded unchanged. Itachi used his Susanoo and, on his last legs, explained everything, including how Danzo had ordered the massacre. As Itachi was about to die, Naruto grabbed him. Sasuke activated his Mangekyo Sharingan, and Naruto commented, "You're quite a crybaby, aren't you, Uchiha?" Naruto then placed his hand on Itachi's heart, channeling some of the Nine-Tails' chakra into him, reviving his heart and curing his disease.

Itachi, though shocked, was still exhausted and asked Naruto why he did it. Naruto simply replied, "I felt like it. I don't need to explain anything to you, Uchiha." Itachi smiled a little as Naruto walked away towards Jiraiya, who was quite impressed with the development of his students. This time, Sasuke didn't say he would destroy the village; instead, he vowed to destroy Danzo.

Naruto picked up Samehada, which embraced him well because it was attracted to the Nine-Tails' chakra. The group returned to the village with Itachi. The Third Hokage, still alive, understood why Itachi had acted as he did, and everything was explained to the council. The people were happy to see the return of Uchiha and the leader of the Uzumaki/Namikaze clan. 

Shortly after, they received a report of Gaara being kidnapped. Itachi rejoined the ANBU, his presence known only to the council and higher-ups. Danzo met a gruesome end at the hands of the two Uchiha brothers, his body parts separated, his Sharingan arm ripped off, and his head placed at the front door of the ANBU Black Ops hideout.

Now it was time to rescue Gaara. Tsunade gave the mission to Naruto and Team 7 to retrieve the Kazekage. Naruto remarked, "Well, it seems Gaara has been taken. We are going to pay."
