ONE PIECE: Through the scope

The story begins when our protagonist wakes up from his dream of drowning to death.

"Uhhh...my head hurts so bad. Also, i don't recognize this ceiling. "

The protagonist, who is yet unnamed had a sense of satisfaction when he subconsciously said something most isekai protagonists would say in the beginning of their adventure. he would soon realize the accuracy of his thoughts while wishing it wasn't.

(Author: Most of the readers have probably guessed why he would be wishing for his thoughts to be wrong if you read the title, you guessed right. )

He then got up from his bed and tried to find his bearing. That was when someone opened the door.

"It seems that I don't have to wake up up huh. Freshen up and come with me, Usopp."

These words rung inside the head of our protagonist. He was shocked at first but when he saw his small arms and legs along with the ridiculously long nose, he was sure that the administrator in charge of transmigration probably hated him. Thus, he conveniently fainted.

Two days later, at the top of the cliff at the southern side of the sea at Syrup village, one could see the silhouette of a kid yelling bloody revenge whilst looking like he had his entire bank account deleted by somebody, who also stole hi investments.

"Of all the things that could happen, you transmigrated me into this Diablo level difficulty world, and put me in the body of the Strawhat member that is exploited and harassed the most. This feels as if life gave me lemons, and also gave me scurvy."

The protagonist, who is now Usopp had put it in said order because he wasn't exactly fond of his previous life. He had been in this mood for the past two days but one the good side he had got his bearings as to where in the timeline he had been inserted into. The day he woke up was the day after his mother Banchina died, and Ussop the original had fainted right after her burial. An orphan who was seven years old, who has an extreme penchant for lying and was hated by most people openly.

Although about that lying part, our protagonist turned Usopp was also good at. He also had thick enough skin to do the actions he has to - playing the kid who yearns for attention. But he is not sure if his lying skills are at the level of Usopp the original, whose lying skills were legendary to a level that it could be called the most extreme form of the color of observation haki.

"It is enough yelling I suppose. Need to put up the act of being an irritating kid again. Also begin training the body and shooting skills to the limit since the transmigrator beginner's pack is nowhere in sight, or with my mentality I might break because of the stupid rubber man."

If the reader i wondering why Usopp is not trying to check for the beginner's pack, he did. He did all game-like prompts and major league soul scarring chunnibyou dialogues in his repertoire to activate it. He definitely wants to bury the moment when his caretaker saw him holding his right hand saying "Wake up, the flame of destruction hidden in my palm! Destroy all that stands against me!!".

He gets up from his spot on the cliff and takes a deep breath, does some limbering up exercises and begins to run around the island.

He continues his exercising by following up his 10 laps of the island with a set of core strengthening exercises followed by a meditative exercise for focusing his vision so that he could lay a foundation for awakening his kenbunshoku no haki.

Even though he only felt exhausted from the exercises, he knew that accumulation of strength is the most important part, since even Luffy's first major upgrade came only during the water 7- Enies Lobby arc. Until then he was strong enough to fight of the likes of Crocodile, and physically overpower the self proclaimed god Enel, with enough help from the plot armor. whereas Zoro and Sanji had to constantly overcome their limits to keep up with the enemy.

He then goes on to train his leg muscles, as it is the most important one to focus since he would be doing a lot of 'tactical retreats' soon. Along with it, he begins to carry rocks in a bag, just heavy enough for him to use as a tool for exercising and balance training. He repeats the cycle of running, meditation and muscle exercise to his limit, although he was sure the pain that will follow with such training was not a sweet thing but it would be like cod liver oil doses- good for your body, but you will definitely puke your guts out after. Thus ended his morning exercise routine, with a good old reminder to himself of the first class masochistic mindset he has to keep up to continue this torture.

"Now I'll have to do my daily chores, huh."
