Chapter 62 Void Slash!

This is a secret known only to the two of them.

"We've arrived! This is my home, Warship Island!"

Following Abis' directions, Luffy and the crew sailed until they arrived at an island that looked like a massive warship.

"The name really suits the place!" the crew commented as they observed the island, which indeed resembled a giant warship.

"Thank you all so much! If it weren't for you, I might've perished at sea. To show my gratitude, let me treat you all to a meal," Abis offered warmly.

"Food? Is there meat?" The mention of food immediately made Luffy's eyes light up.

"Yes, plenty of meat," Abis confirmed with a nod.

"Yay! Meat! Meat!" Luffy cheered, dancing in excitement before dashing off in a random direction.

"Hey, Luffy, we don't even know where we're going yet! Do you?" Zoro shouted after him, but Luffy had already disappeared.

The crew was left speechless. Luffy's obsession with meat seemed to block out everything else.

"Well, let's take this chance to rest up and gather our strength. We'll need it before heading to the Grand Line," Nami said, nodding to herself. The Grand Line wasn't just any sea; it was a place where the strongest pirates ventured. Who knew what awaited them there?

"Of course! Whatever Nami says!" Sanji replied, twisting his body in joy as he fawned over her.

"Moonlight, aren't you coming with us?" Usopp asked, noticing that Moonlight stayed aboard the ship, practicing with his sword.

"No need, I'll stay here and watch the ship. Sanji, can you make some food for me before you head out?" Moonlight said, calmly continuing his training with the Kusanagi sword.

"Sure thing," Sanji answered, for once not distracted, and headed back to the ship to prepare Moonlight's meal.

"That guy… already as strong as a monster, yet he trains like he's still trying to get stronger. At this rate, he'll definitely become one of the greatest swordsmen, just like Mihawk," Nami muttered to herself, admiring Moonlight's work ethic.

"Talent and hard work—when someone has both, it's truly terrifying," Usopp agreed, unable to deny how impressive Moonlight was.

"He's already at the peak of swordsmanship, if you ask me," Zoro said, arms crossed. "He could probably hold his own against Mihawk. Who would win? That, I'm not sure of. But he's right up there with him."

Abis, overhearing their conversation, gazed at Moonlight with awe. She had seen him fight, and his presence alone made her feel safe. He was someone whose word could be trusted without question.

"Alright, let's go!" Sanji said, packing up his gear after preparing the food, and the rest of the crew followed Abis into the island.

Meanwhile, Moonlight stayed behind on the ship, continuing to swing his sword.

"Ding! You've performed Phantom Sword Dance and gained 100*100 experience points!"

"Ding! Phantom Sword Dance has leveled up to Level 2!"

"Ding! New skill unlocked: Void Slash!"

"Ding! Void Slash Level 1, 1/100,000!"

"A new skill, huh?" Moonlight thought as he examined his new ability.

Void Slash combined the power of Phantom Sword Dance and Draw Slash, creating a powerful attack where sword energy gathers in a concentrated form before being released with a slash. The longer the energy is stored, the more powerful and widespread the attack becomes.

"It's like a combination of Draw Slash and Phantom Sword Dance," Moonlight mused. "Not bad, but it looks like it will be pretty useful."

The system wouldn't give him a useless skill, after all.

"Void Slash!" Moonlight shouted as he performed the move.

A crescent-shaped sword energy quickly gathered around the Kusanagi sword, forming a glowing energy ball. After three seconds, the energy ball was fully charged, and Moonlight unleashed it with a slash!

Whoosh!

The sword energy soared forward like a dragon, a vast crescent of destructive force that expanded over the sea. The range alone was astonishing, reaching over 100 meters, and the diameter of the crescent reached a terrifying 50 meters!

With Moonlight at the center, everything within a 50-meter radius was engulfed in sword energy. The energy slashed through the sea, parting the waves, and killing countless sea creatures in its path. The ocean roared as waves surged violently, and the sword energy continued wreaking havoc until it finally dissipated over 100 meters away.

The ocean was left in ruins, as if it had been struck by a massive sea storm. The power of that single slash was terrifying.

"If we run into that iron-chain naval blockade again, I won't need to go through all the trouble. Just one of these slashes should be enough," Moonlight said to himself, impressed by the sheer power of Void Slash.

Back on the island, the crew suddenly felt the strong winds from the sea, stopping in their tracks and turning back to look.

"What was that?" Abis asked in shock.

"It's nothing. It's just Moonlight training. Looks like he's learned a new, more powerful move," Nami said with a dismissive wave, sounding almost bored.

She was used to it by now—Moonlight's training sessions often resulted in massive displays of sword energy that left the crew stunned. But by this point, it had become a regular occurrence.

"That guy…" Zoro muttered, his pride stung. The more he saw Moonlight grow, the more determined he was to surpass him one day.

"Let's keep moving," Usopp shrugged, not too concerned. "They're all monsters. I'm just a regular guy!"

Back on the ship, Moonlight smiled with satisfaction.

"Very good. I'll keep training and make this skill even stronger," he said to himself, continuing his practice.

Meanwhile, on the island, Abis led the crew to a restaurant where, to their surprise, they found Luffy already there, happily devouring a meal.

"Did he sniff out the food or something?" the crew muttered, shaking their heads in disbelief. Abis laughed and eagerly hosted them for a meal.

The islanders, upon learning that Luffy and his crew had rescued Abis, were grateful and treated them to a feast. The crew laughed, ate, and drank until the night grew late and everyone fell into a deep, drunken sleep.

Later that night, Abis quietly stirred from her sleep. She glanced around to make sure everyone was sound asleep, then quietly gathered a large amount of food—enough to feed a hundred people—and slipped away, heading towards the island's mountain.

Her footsteps were light, careful not to wake anyone—especially Luffy and the others.
