The protagonist, Moonlight, arrives in the world of pirates and is invited aboard Luffy's ship. They travel through East Blue, Winter Island, Alabasta, Skypiea, Long Ring Long Land, Water 7, Enies Lobby, Thriller Bark, Sabaody Archipelago, the Marineford War, and more. With Moonlight's addition, everything changes.
"Hey, hey, hey, Luffy! Where are you launching that thing?!"
"Oh no!"
Just as Usopp sighed in relief, Zoro and Nami stared in shock as the cannonball that Luffy deflected flew toward another Navy ship nearby!
"Boom!"
A huge hole was blasted into the side of the ship.
"Ah! This is bad!"
"Oh no!"
"Luffy, you're in trouble!"
Seeing this, Zoro, Usopp, and Nami could only hold their heads in frustration. If it were any other pirates, they might just flee and let it go, but they weren't just any pirates, and Luffy wasn't the type to run away.
"Oops, I missed! But don't worry, I'll handle this. You guys wait here; I'll be right back!" Luffy scratched his head awkwardly, stretched his arm, and launched himself toward the damaged ship.
"Is that the famous sea restaurant, Baratie?"
Johnny and Yosaku, who had just woken up, looked at the massive ship, which resembled a floating building, and were stunned.
"A sea restaurant?"
"You've heard of it?" Usopp asked, curious.
"Yeah, it's a well-known restaurant in the East Blue. Pirates, marines, even bandits—they all come here as long as they have money. The food here is fantastic, and the chefs are fierce fighters, so everyone shows them respect," Johnny explained.
"We've always wanted to eat here, but I never thought we'd run into it like this," Yosaku added, nodding.
"This isn't the time for a meal. Usopp, Moonlight, let's go. Nami, Johnny, Yosaku, you guys stay and watch the ship. Luffy will only make things worse by himself!" Zoro said, calling to Usopp and Moonlight.
"A restaurant, huh? I'm starving, and I've heard these chefs are tough. I'd love to meet them," Usopp said thoughtfully, nodding.
"Yeah." Moonlight agreed, knowing that Luffy's personality could indeed turn a simple situation into chaos.
"Ah!"
As the three stepped aboard, they suddenly heard a scream, and a figure flew out from inside the restaurant! Moonlight reached out and caught the figure—a handsome man wearing iron knuckles.
"Captain Morgon of the Marines?"
Moonlight recognized him instantly.
"Thank you, thank you! Damn, this restaurant is outrageous, and that chef—he's way too brutal! Attacking customers like that! Damn it, I'm going to call the Marines and blow this place to bits!" Morgon muttered angrily, without even glancing at Moonlight as he stormed off, his eyes fixed on the restaurant.
"So that's a Marine captain, huh? Rude!" Usopp scoffed.
"Right? He doesn't even thank the people who helped him!" Zoro added, shaking his head. "Think Luffy had something to do with that?"
The three exchanged knowing looks before stepping inside.
To their surprise, the restaurant was bustling with customers, all enjoying their meals as if nothing had happened.
"Huh?"
The trio was puzzled.
"Move aside!"
Just then, a man wearing green clothing, with a bandana and a red snake pattern embroidered on his clothes, stormed into the restaurant. His expression was cold as he grabbed a seat, sat down, and kicked his feet up on the table. "Bring me some food!" he ordered.
"What the…? Who's this guy?"
"A pirate?"
The surrounding diners looked at him in shock, but the man's fierce expression made them shiver. Only pirates carried themselves with such a menacing aura.
"Ah, distinguished guest! Welcome to the sea restaurant Baratie. I'm your host, Patty. Feel free to order anything you want, as long as you can pay," Patty, the chef and host, said as he rushed over with a wide smile.
"I don't have any money, but I want to eat," the man said coldly.
"No money? And you want food?"
Patty's smile vanished instantly.
"Hmph, I'm with the Krieg Pirates. Make me some food, and make a lot—I want it to go,"
the man continued nonchalantly, ignoring Patty's darkening expression.
"What? He's with the Krieg Pirates?"
"Wow, that's the ruler of the East Blue!"
"I heard Krieg commands fifty pirate ships. If one of his crew is here, does that mean the whole fleet is nearby?"
The patrons were stunned. The Krieg Pirates weren't just any crew; they ruled the East Blue. Their captain, Krieg, was notorious for being cunning and ruthless. No one dared cross them, and now, one of their own was here, disrupting the peace of the restaurant.
"What the hell…"
"Maybe we should leave before things get worse."
"They've finally shown up, huh?"
Zoro, Usopp, and Moonlight each reacted differently. Zoro's eyes sparkled with anticipation; he'd heard of the Krieg Pirates before. Usopp, on the other hand, was visibly scared—they only had a small ship, how could they stand up against an armada? Moonlight's eyes glinted with a different thought—if Krieg was nearby, then the man chasing them, Mihawk the Hawk-Eye, must be close too.
Mihawk, the world's greatest swordsman, was someone Moonlight had always wanted to meet. His current swordsmanship, at level 3, combined with his mastery of Haki, was nearly equivalent to level 4 power—a level where the sword became an extension of one's will, capable of cutting through steel or nothing at all. This was the mark of a true swordsman, and Moonlight was eager to see how his skills measured up against Mihawk's famed black blade, Yoru.
"Get out! I don't care who you are or what pirate crew you belong to. If you want to eat here, you follow the rules. No money, no food. So beat it!" Patty shouted, interrupting the man's demands. He grabbed the pirate and flung him out of the restaurant without hesitation.
The pirate landed hard on the deck outside, pain shooting through his body, momentarily unable to stand.
"Damn it… If I weren't so weak from hunger…" The pirate's eyes burned with anger, but with no strength left, he struggled to get up and slink away, forced to think of another plan.
"Wow, that was amazing! The chefs at Baratie really don't mess around. Pirates are no match for them!"
"Chef, you're so brave to kick a pirate out like that!"
