Chapter 16: Ben vs Honey Queen

Ben thought it was strange that the device with Honey Queen was not a den den mushi. 

Honey Queen, still in her towel, pointed the device towards. It looked like a walkie talkie with a long antenna. 

"So you want to take my crew member? I will be the Pirate King. The Pirate King needs a bride and the crewmate of yours is mine," the unknown man said from the walkie talkie.

"Bear King, you're no Pirate King because I am Pirate King" Ben firmly said back.

"Why you? I will kill you, Honey Queen, bring back his head and that woman alive or don't bother coming back." Bear King ordered Honey Queen.

Honey Queen turned into her liquid form. The towel dropped. She blasted a large volume of purple liquid toward Ben. Ben got hit by the liquid and fell back. 

Ouch, that hurt he thought.

Ben then got up and charged at the purple liquid shaped women. He could see her red eyes formed. He tried to punch the woman  but his attack just went through her. 

She then fired another blast of purple liquid towards Ben. Ben dodged it this time. 

Honey Queen then fired a series of liquids at Ben. Ben found it easier and easier to dodge each time. 

Ben then fired his Demon Beam at Honey Queen. Honey fired her air liquid blast. They clashed for a second however Ben`s beam was stronger.

Ben thought it was pointless fighting. He couldn't damage her and she couldn't either. 

"You know you are wasting your potential here, Bear King does not care about it at all. If you fail, he said not to come back," said Ben.

"I won't fail," she said in a scared tone. Honey Queen knew she couldn't win. Her only attack was doing nothing to him and without Boo Jack she couldn't escape. 

She was starting to panic. Her liquid form was not stable. She wanted to run away. She felt alone. 

Ben walked towards her slowly while she was panicking. He then wrapped his arms in hybrid form around Honey Queen and said, "It's okay, I will always protect you."

Honey Queen reverted from her liquid form to her human form. She was completely naked. Ben also went back to his human form. He hugged her tightly.  He could feel her soft breast on his chest. She was not crying. She just stayed still and embraced Ben. 

"I will protect you, join my crew," Ben said.

Honey Queen spoke in a quiet tone, "Bear King is strong, he will kill us all. He has a powerful weapon called the King Cannon. He will use it to become the Pirate King."

"I will be the Pirate King. I am not afraid of anyone. Warlords, Yonko, World Government. I will crush them all," Ben said with conviction. 

Honey Queen had heard this from Bear King. However this time she felt different. She didn't know this man but she believed in him. He was young, had dreamy eyes and could feel something poking her butt.

She was in a turmoil of different feelings. 

For the first time ever in her life she didn't feel scared. "I will join you." Honey Queen said and she fell asleep in his arms. Honey Queen reminded of his little sister. She put on a brave face but was scared inside. He would usually say things like protecting her and she would get the biggest smile on her face. I wonder how she is doing, he thought. 

Ben then thought, first Alvida and now Honey Queen. It felt a bit easy for women to join his crew. He thought, maybe this is his devil fruit that has something to do with it or the system? Whatever the case, Ben would protect his crew with life and he needed to become stronger and learn haki.
