Chapter 144: Poneglyph Chamber

"How?" Nami asked. She was surprised that she was found.

"I know about my love`s harem," Alvida said.

"I am not part of his harem," Nami said.

"Hey Nami," Ben said.

"Don't hey me," Nami replied.

"So what are you doing here?" Mikita said.

"I heard you were going to do something so I thought of checking it out," Nami replied.

"She might steal the treasure," Zala said.

"Treasure I knew it," Nami said. She got excited.

"I helped so you owe me," Nami said to Ben.

"There is no treasure in terms of gold or silver here," Ben said.

"So there might be diamonds," Nami replied.

"Maybe," Ben said.

"Nami, there is treasure here," Alvida said, patting Ben`s crotch.

"Hey," Nami shouted.

Alvida and Mikita giggled.

"Lively," Robin said.

"They sure are," Zala added.

"Alvida you can stop," Ben said.

"Okay my love," Alvida replied and stopped. Nami was red.

They looked up and saw the tomb was primarily constructed from sandstone. It was a golden color which felt warm. The sandstone was smooth to the touch in some places, while in others, it bears the marks of centuries, adding to its weathered yet enduring charm.

"Lets walk outside," Ben said and added, "What we are looking for is not here."

"What are we looking for exactly?" Zala asked.

"Patience," Mikita said.

"You don't know either," Zala said.

"But I trust my captain," Mikita said.

Nami sighed. Robin smiled, "We should wait and see," Robin added.

"My love has his reasons," Alvida said.

"No reason, just keeping the suspense," Ben laughed. Nami and Zala looked at each other.

They walked outside and Ben spotted a white cat statue. Its paw was mid-air. "Looks cute," Robin said.

"It is," Mikita added. Alvida smiled.

Ben went to the cat statue and pushed it. It started to rotate and the ground next to it opened.

"A hidden passage," Nami gasped.

"Yes it is, Zala this is what Crocodile was looking for," Ben said. The passage opened on the ground.

Ben led and the girls followed. "Crocodile was after an ancient weapon Pluto," Ben said.

"Pluto?" Zala said.

Robin looked serious. "A ship capable of destroying islands," Ben said.

Nami and Zala gasped.

"So you want that Ben?" Robin said.

"Not really, it will be useful but it's not here," Ben said.

"You are confident," Robin said.

"You will see," Ben replied.

"So all this pain and suffering was for a weapon which may not even be here?" Nami asked.

"Yes," Alvida replied.

"How awful," Nami said.

"So that's why he would not tell us, the power would have been too precious to him," Zala said.

"Enough to be Pirate King, Crocodile thought," Ben said.

They walked down the stairs and got to a room. The room was not too big however there was natural light coming through. Inside the room was a big blue cube.

"What is that?" Mikita asked.

"Look precious, we should take it," Nami said.

"It is an ancient artifact called a Poneglyph ." Ben said.

Robin walked to it and touched it. She started to look at the writing. "Ben is right Pluton is not here," Robin said.

"So all this for nothing," Zala said.

"It's best we did not find this, in the wrong hands it could be dangerous," Mikita said.

"Ben, can you read?" Robin asked.

"No but I know you can," Ben replied.

"Then how did you know?" Robin asked again.

"I have some other sources," Ben said.

Robin looked at Ben. "I know so much, not all of it," Ben added.

"Okay," Robin replied.

"So was this it?" Nami said.

"This Poneglyph is the most secret and guarded piece of history only us and the Royal family knows about it," Ben said.

"I can probably tell people and make some money off it," Nami said. Ben grabbed Nami's shoulders and looked at her.

"Do not tell anyone about this," Ben stated.

Nami could tell he was serious. "Okay," Nami replied. However Ben touched her and she pushed him off and lightly punched him in the stomach.

"Don't touch me," Namii said.

Ben rubbed his stomach. "My love, she has fangs," Alvida teased.

"She can throw a punch," Mikita said.

Robin added, "She is feisty but loving," Robin said.

"I do not love him," Nami said.

The girl giggled.

"So was this all my love?" Alvida said.

"No, I have on other theory," Ben said.

Ben saw his hand and nothing appeared.

[Walk to the end of the room and touch the D symbol]

"Follow me," Ben said. He led the girls to the end of the room. He saw lots of symbols and ancient text on the wall.

"I am looking for the Letter D," Ben added.

The girls nodded and started looking. "There it is," Zala pointed out. She pointed at the Letter D.

"Good job," Ben said and he hugged her. Zala smiled. Ben got off and walked and touched the Letter D.

The panel on the wall opened up and had a number pad.

[Press the number 3, three times]

"What is this?" Nami said.

"Something amazing," Alvida said.

"Do you think it's okay for Nami to see this?" Mikita said and added, "She is not part of the crew."

"She is part of my love`s harem," Alvida said.

"Then that's fine," Mikita said.

"I am not," Nami said.

"She is definitely part of it," Robin said. Zala nodded.

Ben pressed the number 3 three times.

They stood in silence for a second. Then the wall opened up. It opened side-way revealing a lift.

The lift had a sleek exterior crafted from a polished, luminescent material. Translucent panels covered its sides, revealing a mesmerizing display of swirling energy patterns that shifted and changed colors. The lift's doors were made of a transparent material.

"Let's go inside," Ben said.

"Ben what is this?" Nami said.

Robin and Zala were shocked. "It's another lab," Alvida said.

"Lab?" Robin asked. She thought back and she did not find anything on labs in her research.

"It's where we can find some unique weapons or power," Ben said.

"Is this what Crocodile was looking for?" Zala suggested.

"No it is what we were looking for," Ben replied.

They entered the lift. The walls inside were adorned with luminated colours.

Ben looked at the control panel inside the lift. It was a masterpiece of minimalist design, featuring touch-sensitive surfaces. The floor of the lift was made of a smooth, glass-like material.

[Press the D button]

Ben thought she sounded like a girl who was praised by her crush again.

Ben pressed the D button and the lift doors closed. It started going down.

Nami yelled and grabbed onto Ben.

"What's going on there?" Alvida teased.

"Get off me," Nami said.

"You were the one who jumped on him," Zala said.

"No," Nami tried to say.

"Yes," Robin said.

"So what do you think we will find this time, my love? Alvida asked.

"Who knows? Let's find out," Ben replied.
