381 God Enel, Marco Remact 04

After moving at high speed, Enel was momentarily stunned when he saw Marco. He didn't expect Marco to catch up so quickly.

What Enel didn't realize was that Marco had already predicted where he would appear.

"You... how could you!"

Enel stammered in surprise, instinctively taking a step back.

However, Marco had no intention of giving Enel a chance, as he had carefully created this situation. Marco's relentless pursuit had come at great cost and effort to force Enel into this position.

Marco clenched his right fist, a cyan flame burning on it. Unlike his usual recovery flame, this one was infused with Armament Haki, giving it significant offensive power while still retaining its healing effects.

Marco struck without hesitation, his cyan fist hitting Enel's chest directly. The blow left a fist-sized mark on Enel's chest, with a black flame clinging to it.

After landing a punch, Marco followed up with a powerful kick, sending Enel flying. This decisive move shocked everyone, making them cheers.

"Damn, Marco's combo is really great!"

"Yes, he's our role model. When will I reach that level?"

The crew expressed their admiration for Marco. They felt victory was within their grasp, knowing how difficult Marco's move was to execute.

After being struck by the Phoenix Flame enhanced with Armament Haki, it felt like being trapped in tar, enduring prolonged damage.

Having fought with Marco before, Katakuri understood this well.

But Katakuri also understands Enel's power. He's unsure if Marco can effectively damage Enel. Honestly, Katakuri admires Enel's strength but also sees the challenge he poses.

Unlike Marco, Katakuri lacked the courage to challenge Enel. He remembered the tragedy of facing Enel before and doubted another fight would end any differently.

So, Marco's decision to challenge Enel surprised Katakuri. He hadn't expected Marco to make such a bold move.

Seeing Marco's powerful move, Katakuri realized that Marco had broken through his inner barriers. He could now face his failures calmly and grow even stronger.

This is a transformation. Sometimes, becoming strong is just a change of mindset. There are many talented people in the world, but not everyone can grow, and not everyone can reach their full potential.

The strong are not made overnight. They are often shaped by years of trials and countless failures. Some, like Marco, can transform and grow stronger from their failures.

"It seems this guy has already gotten far ahead of me,"

Katakuri thought to himself.

Katakuri had wanted to compete with Marco, but now it seems he may be outmatched. With Marco's current strength, defeating him seems impossible.

While Katakuri sighed, the battle continued. Enel, after being kicked by Marco, was back on his feet in the air, but blue flames still burned on his body.

The flame caused Enel constant pain, but he could endure that. What really irritated him was that the flame couldn't be extinguished.

Enel's thunderous power tried to extinguish the flame, but instead of succeeding, it backfired and made the flame stronger.

"Damn, what kind of flame is this? It's so troublesome."

Enel, with limited knowledge of Devil Fruits, was unaware of Marco's abilities.

"It seems it's still effective. He couldn't put out the flame. If I keep using it, I might have a chance to win,"

Marco thought to himself, though he wasn't too confident. He knew Enel might have other tricks up his sleeve.

So, Marco remained cautious. Even in this situation, he refrained from approaching Enel too hastily to launch an attack.

"You really annoy me,"

Enel muttered, frustrated by his inability to rid himself of the flames. He abandoned the idea of extinguishing them and decided to defeat Marco swiftly to end the duel.

Enel pounded his taiko angrily, and the sky darkened gradually. Clouds gathered, hinting that a heavy rainstorm is coming.

"This guy can actually change nature."

Jinbei suddenly exclaimed, and the others were also very surprised.

Using the fruit's power to summon dark clouds and thunder, it's clear the fruit's abilities have developed remarkably well.

The surrounding area had already started to gust violently, causing the weaker crew to seek shelter in cabins. The battlefield soon emptied out, with only a few people remaining.

They witnessed Enel standing in the sky, his arm raised high. Lightning struck from the dark clouds, directly coursing into Enel's body, augmenting his thunder power.

Enel unleashed a barrage of lightning bolts towards Marco, like a thunderous sea, engulfing him completely in a large area.

A powerful electric current surged through Marco's body continuously. In the midst of the thunder and chaos, Marco had nowhere to hide. Nevertheless, his recovery speed was visibly increasing.

On one side, destruction; on the other, recovery. The two forces clashed like opposing teams in a tug-of-war. However, with Enel empowered by natural thunder, he had no fear in this battle of attrition.

But Marco is different. His recovery power has reached its limit and is nearing its breaking point. His skin has even turned blood-red.

"Stop!"

Whitebeard commanded, his hand raised. A powerful vibration comes from his gesture, forcefully pushing both combatants apart. Even Enel's thunder was repelled, dispersing the dark clouds in the sky.

Enel witnessed Whitebeard's immense power once more, momentarily stunned. After a long pause, he flew down silently.

"I lost,"

Marco admitted, fully aware of his defeat. He had no defense against Enel's tactics.

"Winning or losing doesn't matter. What's important is what you've learned from this battle. Both of you fought well,"

Whitebeard reassured them.

The battle ended with Marco's defeat, but he showcased some remarkable skills, earning him plenty of applause.
