"It's so scary. Fleet Admiral Akainu has been pushing for action ever since he heard about your war with Big Mom," 

Kizaru smiled.

"Very well, you've already made plans to instigate those captives. You Marines really do have a knack for repetition," 

Whitebeard remarked.

Whitebeard's comment stemmed from his recognition that the Marines had employed similar tactics before during the Summit War when dealing with him.

Currently, Marine, in collaboration with the prisoners from the Big Mom Pirates, is employing a similar tactic. They're teaming up to combat the Whitebeard Pirates, showcasing Marine's willingness to be ruthless in their pursuit.

"There's no point in talking now. Fleet Admiral Akainu is really determinant in taking you down, Whitebeard. If you truly care about your crew, raise your hand and surrender immediately."

"A war with the Marines won't end well. Even Roger, the Pirate King, knew that. So, don't let your crew suffer harm by following you."

Kizaru's attempt to persuade Whitebeard to surrender was seen as a joke by Whitebeard. Indeed, Roger was caught and sentenced by the Marines.

However, in the end, Roger still dealt a severe blow to the Marines. He opened the era of great pirates, inspiring countless individuals to venture onto the seas.

Through various developments over time, this era has become filled with pirates. Furthermore, Whitebeard's current power was beyond Roger's.

"Kizaru, it seems the memory of our last battle has faded for you. Do you need a reminder of my power?" 

Whitebeard asked sternly.

"It's not hard for you to deal with me with your strength, but remember, we're in your territory now, and your ships are below us. Do you want to harm your own people?" 

Kizaru threatened.

"Moreover, our preparations today go beyond what you've seen. I strongly advise you not to resist any further, as doing so will only lead to more casualties."

Whitebeard's gaze narrowed slightly. He wasn't sure what surprises Marine had in store, but if they were meant to intimidate him, they wouldn't work. Whitebeard was never one to be intimidated.

"If you have any tricks up your sleeve, let's see them. None of us in the Whitebeard Pirates will surrender. I believe in my sons; they can fight against you," 

Whitebeard said confidently.

"Okay, wait and see." 

After speaking, Kizaru immediately launched a fierce attack on Whitebeard. His powerful light-speed kicks and laser shot constantly barraged Whitebeard.

Kizaru doesn't expect to hurt Whitebeard. His current goal is to restrain Whitebeard, preventing him from joining the battle below.

Whitebeard continued to bide his time. He awaited the completion of Tesla's task to create the massive bubble shield. Once ready, he could unleash his full power without hesitation.

"Admiral Kizaru suppressed Whitebeard, and immediately prepares for the next stage of attack!"

The Marine Vice Admiral watched Kizaru's battle with Whitebeard with surprise and then gave the order. He was astonished to see Whitebeard offering no resistance against Kizaru's onslaught.

The Marine Vice Admiral speculated that Whitebeard may not have fully recovered from the previous battle. However, regardless of the reason, their sole focus now was to attack the Whitebeard Pirates with full force.

At the command of the Marine Vice Admiral, their newly deployed weapons were brought into action. In reality, these weapons weren't recent developments; rather, they were technologies studied long ago.

However, Marine applied this technology to battleships, enhancing their capabilities to some extent.

"What's that?" 

Marco suddenly noticed a change in the turret of the Marine warship across from them. It now sported smaller-caliber pipes.

However, though he didn't understand what it was, Marco could deduce one thing: those pipes must belong to some kind of weapon.

So, when those pipes appeared, Marco promptly alerted the other captains to be cautious.

However, the situation turned out to be more serious than Marco had anticipated. Following the command of the Marine Vice Admiral, those weapons swiftly launched an attack.

The golden laser beams shot out from the pipelines, piercing through multiple ships in an instant, hitting numerous crew members along the way.

"This is..." 

Marco's voice trailed off as he watched in disbelief. It was the unmistakable signature move of Marine Admiral Kizaru: the laser.

Originally developed for the PX series of robots, this technology was hastily adapted for Marine warships to combat Whitebeard, with enhancements to its power output.

Unlike ordinary artillery shells, this laser has a penetrating effect, making it difficult for many captains to confront head-on.

Moreover, these lasers are incredibly fast, installed on almost every Marine warship, making them powerful on the battlefield.

Laser beams from all directions continued to wreak havoc, posing a serious crisis for Whitebeard and his crew.

"Stay alert, everyone!" 

Marco urged urgently. He knew that repeated hits from these laser beams could compromise their ability to recover, even for the resilient Phoenix Fruit users like him.

As Tesla worked on his preparations, he couldn't help but feel the gravity of the situation when he noticed the lasers converging around him.

As a laser suddenly shot from the side, Jozu swiftly intercepted it, shielding Tesla from harm. His diamond-hard body remained unpenetrated, though the impact caused him some pain.

"Don't be distracted, do your own thing seriously," Jozu said to him.

"Got it." 

Tesla nodded and resumed his preparations with determination. However, the lasers disrupted his rhythm, as they threatened to destroy the bubble film he was creating.

So, Tesla had to gather his power, ensuring he completed the task in one go. Once the huge bubble film was finished, it would be impervious to destruction.

"These Marines are just launching attacks randomly!" 

Perrospero exclaimed from the captive ship.

Because he was almost injured by a laser beam penetrating through, he originally wanted to watch the good show between Marine and the Whitebeard Pirates, but now, he can't calm down anymore.

Perrosperro took the initiative to show up, and then used his fruit ability to create a piece of candy armor, but only his own range.
