Chapter 65: Lillian's Fiance

Lillian turned her towards the sound of approaching footsteps from outside. She felt guilty and embrassed if being caught by the Feng's and seeing her with a man at their home. She could feel her anxiety coming off of her in waves. The hand which had grabbed Lillian wrapped itself around her head and pulled her into a warm bosom.

"What are you doing?" Lillian struggled immediately. She was even more awkward when those noise getting closer and closer.

Marcus held her tightly. He smiled but said firmly. "Don't move!" Lillian was about to refute when she heard the door opened and three stunned Fengs glaring at them dumbfounded and with their groceries in hands.

FengYe was first who walked towards them, putting the groceries bag on the floor and speaking kindly. "You must be Marcus, right? Lillian's fiance. Nice to meet you."

There was no need for official introduction. Marcus had already known that the man must be FengYe, the only son from the Feng's family and the two ladies were his siblings. Looking around and eyeing back at him. "Nice to meet you too, FengYe. And I believe these two pretty ladies should be Feng Xixi and Xiyan. Nice to meet you too."

Feng Xiyan and Xixi nodded, walked over and shaked hand with him before both ladies took the groceries bags and headed to the kitchen. All that Lillian could do was standstill. It all happened so suddenly that she totally stunned herself at the moment.

Marcus narrowed his eyes. "I am sorry to have bumped into your house like this. I guess I was quite anxious too see this little mischievous. She like playing hide and seek with me so it better for me to catch her before she hurts herself. Right, dear?"

She threw a quick glace at Marcus, and even the Fengs dropped their eyes on her quickly when they heard that. Lillian didn't expect that him to throwed out this type of awkward funny answers.

Before she could answer, Marcus glance at her and raised his hand to touched her cheek gently. "What do you think? Don't you?"

Lillian stepped back at once. Having noticed her abruptness had made herself embarrassed, she had to smile and said to him. "I…ignored you. I am going to help my cousin sisters prepare dinner." She had thought she should avoid embarrassment by hiding in the kitchen.

FengYe put his hand on Marcus's shoulder and lead him to the living room but after taking two-three steps. "Lillian, why don't we all go out for dinner tonight. Save the trouble of cooking. You will tired yourself with that big stomach."

Lillian gave him a displeased stare and pouted her face. 'What..? Tired myself.. Huh.. hello, I'm not the one cooking, I'm only the helper.' Seeing her cute reaction, Marcus laughed at her.

"I'm sorry for forgetting to bring you guys gifts for our first meeting. I was in the rush to see someone. I'll make it up for you next time. Brother Ye, you wouldn't mind calling you that." Feng Ye agreed with soft laughter.

At that time, with her back facing him, she finally turned around to look at him. Watching him, Lillian driffed into her own world. 'He was not only handsome but have long, slender legs too. At times, he caring, gentle and considerate too but only his two black eyes, somewhat making it difficult for me to understand what he was thinking.' But her sensed came back when she suddenly heard someone calling. "Lillian.. Lillian.."

This man was clearly Marcus, who's still waiting for an answer. She was still in a little trance and subconsciously mentioned. "Oh.. you means dinner? Are you treating us to one of the most expensive restaurant?" The others present were stunned at what she asked.

FengYe answered. "Don't need expensive one. We just go to our usual family type restaurant just down the road. The food are delicious and reasonable. My treats!"

That man frowned slightly and the way he looked at Lillian was extremely strange. This strange look stopped Lillian's next words that she was about to say came to a halt in her heart.

Marcus stepped forward and pulled Lillian back. He explained unhurriedly. "This little cousin of yours love spending my money, going to expensive restaurant and eating good delicious food. I'm used to it. Am I right, dear."

"Its alright. I will treats since its our first meeting and you're a guest here." Feng Ye replied.

Lillian had no expression. Her body leaned forward slightly, somewhat at a very obvious closed posture. They were couples after all.

"How could that be possible?" Marcus said, "Let me treats tonight. Brother Ye can treat us another time. Just treats as my compensation of not getting you guys 'meeting gifts'. Do you guys need to freshen up first, or we can leave now." All of them shaked their heads and everyone headed out.

When Keith saw them coming out, he got out of the car and remained in the same place. The weather around him was getting colder and colder.

Keith greeted them and said. "Boss! Young madam, how are you? And hello everyone!" Lillian nodded and Marcus introduced him to the Feng's siblings. Then Keith helped opened the car door for his boss and young madam before getting into his driver seat. Only three of them boarded the MPV. FengYe suggested driving his own car with his siblings.
