Early

Jane blinked her eyes twice. "We're leaving? But where're we leaving to?"

"You'll know once we arrive there. So you should go to sleep now."

"But..."

"It's gonna be a long journey Jane. You need all the strength you could muster. So it's advisable you go to sleep now."

"I..."

"Arrrgh.." He groaned in frustration pinching his middle brows. "Now I really wish you did not recover so fast now. You're so noisy."

Jane blinked her eyes. "What? Me? Noisy?" She asked in creased brows.

"Goodnight Jane." He said and turned his back on her walking away.

She watched him leaving and her cheeks puffed out in annoyance.

"I'm noisy uhn? Tsh, he just called me noisy. I'm pretty sure I'm the most quiet he had ever met yet he called me noisy. How rude of him to say that." She murmured as a little frown etch on her face and she watched him shutting his door close.

"So rude." She said and ascended to her room angrily.

She sat on her bed still a bit angry and her cheeks still puffed which made her look cute. She was angry because she hadn't heard that all her life. No one had ever called her noisy. Rather, the people around her sometimes beg her or force her to talk and have fun like her friend Lisa. And here he was saying she was noisy. Unbelievable. It sounded really weird and annoying.

"I'm not noisy okay. I'm a quiet person. Tsh, he dared call me noisy. I don't think he has met the CEO of noise making, grandma and Lisa especially when they're together. Maybe when he does, then he would prefer my presence and not call me noisy ever again. Tsh, how rude of him to say that. I can't believe this."

She covered herself in the blanket and finally forced her eyes shut and soon after, darkness embraced her.

A knock woke her up from her peaceful sleep. She yawned lazily rubbing her eyes. She got up and walked to the door.

"Coming..." She lazily said as the person knocked again.

"Good morning Ma'am." Mr Bo greeted, while Lilian and Kristy bowed at her.

Confusion etch on her face as she saw Mr Bo, Kristy and Lilian at the door. She wondered what had happened. What was the emergency?

"Good morning Mr Bo." She returned his greeting. "What's happening? Why are you guys here so early in the morning." She asked because it was still night time and it was barely two hours since she shut her eyes. The sun had shown no sign of waking up from its slumber.

"We were sent here to pack up your things Ma'am?"

"Pack up? My things? Why?" She asked creasing her brows tight.

"You and Mr Francis would be leaving off in few minutes. So we need to pack up your things quickly."

She remembered Francis telling her a while ago that they would be leaving early. But she didn't know it would be this early.

"Okay." A little smile lit her face and walked in. They followed in and got to their assigned job.

She took some of her things and entered the bathroom. Because they were in a hurry, her shower didn't take that long. When she came out, Mr Bo and the other maids weren't there anymore. Some clothes were kept perfectly on the bed. She had guessed that he ordered them to keep this clothes in particular for her to put on. She quickly dried up and wore the clothes that was arranged for her. It was a short flare skirt and a handless top.

She walked downstairs and saw Francis sitting down like a king. She took in deep breath and exhaled out and confidently approached him.

"Good morning Francis." She greeted with a warm smile on her face.

His gaze slowly travelled up to her face and studied her without saying a word.

"Pony tail." He said after a while of examining her.

Jane raised a brow at him as she was confused at what he meant.

"Your hair. Pack it up into ponytail."

Her brown hair was let loosed and the look on his face showed that he didn't like it. She shook her head slightly and did as she was told. Her half exposed breast came into view as she finished packing her hair. It was what he wanted and a sexy smile curved up his lip at the sight of her half exposed breasts. 

"Better." He said and got up.

Without a sign, he walked passed her heading to the door leading to the beautiful flowery compound and she followed right behind him.

Kevin was standing outside and a black limousine car was opened down for them. Jane got in the car first followed by Francis. Kevin shut the door and the car's engine sounded shortly and accelerated away.
