Lenin looked in the mirror as he straightened his suit. He was preparing to go to class. This was the first time he was going to step foot in the classroom after the ranking tournament.
He looked down to the left side of his chest. A small silver plate was hanging on his chest with the words 'First Year King' written on it. It radiated monstrous majestic aura. It was obvious Princess Swallow-heaven had done something to it.
Knock! Knock!
"Lenin, let's go. We'll be late!"
A female voice rang out.
"I'm coming, I'm coming"
He said as he hurriedly picked up his backpack and run out to meet up with Aina.
After a few minutes of walking, they arrived at Class 1-C.
Swoosh!
Lenin opened the door. Immediately he stepped in, all eyes landed on him. Immediately after, they all stood up in respect.
Lenin was taking aback. He did not expect this from the students. As of now, an unfamiliar feeling was bubbling in his chest. It was pride. A different type of pride.
'Is this how the kings and queens in middle school felt? Damn.'
Lenin thought enthusiastically.
He nodded his head towards his mates which signalled for them to take their seats. Lenin also went to take his seat.
"Damn bro. Who knew you would be like this? You used to be soo whimpy!"
Brian said with a laugh as he took his seat beside Lenin.
"Tch" Lenin chuckled.
'I wasn't whimpy. I just couldn't use my power. Speaking of my power..... Something has been feeling off for a while now'
Lenin looked up into the sky. It was completely gloomy. It seemed like for the past few weeks, nature had been upset about something. Even during afternoons that were supposed to be sunny, the sky remained gloomy.
Swoosh!
The door snapped open again drawing Lenin out of his reverie.
"Alright, stop talking! We have alot of things to do today!" Master Vacto said with his usual cool demeanor.
He scanned the room until his eyes landed on Lenin.
"Ah, Lenin. I see you have recovered. The Principal would like to discuss something with you after school. You better be on your best behavior!"
"Yes sir!"
"Okay... Open your history textbooks. To the year of 2021!"
......
The Central Continent.
Gigantic and powerful countries littered all over the central plane. The air was thick with fresh energy force giving the whole place a serene feeling. Each country was a force to be reckoned with.
The over 130 countries always socialized but rarely had any conflict.
Among the numerous countries, one particular country seemed to carry authority no less than Freedom Country. This was because it also housed one of the superpowers of earth, The Wind Fountain Academy.
This country was called the Nation of Wind.
The Wind Fountain Academy was situated in the middle of the Nation of Wind. A large yellow barrier covered the entire academy which spanned several kilometers. Unlike the Immortal Institute though, the Wind Fountain Academy was made up of mainly mages.
It wasn't that there were no other practices there, but the academy mainly specialized in training mages. Of course, the Immortal Institute focused on training cultivators.
Many mage towers could be seen in the academy while students filed about going on their various duties.
In a particularly lavish sector of the academy, another mage tower stood tall. This one was different from the other random ones though. It was huge and radiated majesty.
It was lined with gold and diamonds, and was formed out of one of the hardest metals. It had over fifty floors. Surprisingly, all these floors seemed to be virtually empty. Even so, powerful auras could be felt radiating off the building. The aura came from a group of individuals who seemed to be gathered at the very top of the tower.
The top floor was actually a large room. The room was decorated lavishly and had every item to make one's life comfortable. Contrary to the magnificent look of the place, the atmosphere of the room was filled with tension.
A youth with purple messy hair sat lazily on the couch. He naturally radiated monstrous energy, though the energy was nowhere near that of Betty or her friends. He had his purple robe on and seemed particularly annoyed.
Three other youths stood before him with their heads bowed in slight fear. There were two men and one woman.
"Erm... Erm... Mage King-"
"Just call me Cravisna. Mage King is a bore" the purple haired youth said.
The guy who was talking nodded his head hurriedly.
"Errm... Cravisna, the top rankers of the fourth years are summoning you. They want to discuss the details of the youth tournament"
It seemed like this Cravisna was the same one Lenin had saved. But his demeanor was completely different right now. He seemed like a very warm person when he met Lenin, but from the way these people were shaking it was obvious they were afraid of him.
"Tch. Its hard to be the top ranker for the third years. They are always summoning me." Cravisna sighed in exasperation.
The three standing infront of Cravisna said nothing. Even though they were ranked directly beneath Cravisna among the third years, the gap between them was huge. Cravisna had won every battle flawlessly to become the Mage King of the third years. His spells were monstrous.
Cravisna passed his hand through his hair and smoothed it. He rose up and nodded to the others.
"Let's go"
"Yes!" They immediately responded and followed behind him.
'Hmm... The youth rankings... Does it mean I'm going to meet that monster again? From the energy he released, he was probably a third year right?'
Cravisna thought with a smirk. His purple garment flattered as he moved to where he was needed.
........
School was closed and many students gathered with their friends to decide what they were going to do. Lenin on the other hand, was preparing to go to Princess Swallow-heaven's office.
"Yo! We'll see you when we see you" Brian said with a smirk as he walked out of the classroom.
Lenin raised an eyebrow.
"What is that supposed to mean?"
"Hah... Don't mind him, just go to the principal's office"
Aina said as she dragged Brian away.
'Why does it feel like she's still angry with me? Hah... I'll think about that later. Right now I have something else to do'
Lenin thought as he walked out of the classroom.
.......
Okay, in done with my exams and I have rested a bit. Thank you to all who waited patiently for me. I would try to post at least five chapters a week. And the more the power stones, I will also increase the chapters.
