Chapter 35 - Intimate

Ryuu sat down while trying his best to calm himself. It was difficult to do so when the person behind was a beautiful naked woman.

Shinobu had been persistent in washing his back which was quite meaningful as it shows you trust the person washing your back.

Though, he was unsure if it was the meaning of doing such action but couldn't deny how mesmerizing the feeling was. Ryuu kept his gaze fixated on the dazzling star that is rarely seen in his world. 

"Once everything is over, what do you plan on doing, Shinobu?"

Ryuu knew that her purpose in life was to end all demons and finally vanished the terror of the night. He knew that it was meaningless since humans are much more of a demon than actual demons as they are human yet kill their fellow humans. 

He sounded hypocrites when he was not one who bat an eye killing a human even if that person is a criminal. Ryuu is fortunate that the [ Peak Human Condition Physiology ] protects him from guilt and remorse.

As long as it treats the enemy as a monster then he wouldn't feel anything but if it's an innocent or just thug then the story is completely different. 

Shinobu heard her question and started to ponder. She had lived in the pursuit of ending the Demons and finally stopping the endless cycle of spilling innocent blood. By the end, she could leave the chat group since it's meaningless.

"I-I don't know…."

This causes an inner turmoil for her questioning what will do by the end of her journey. Ryuu didn't need to turn to know what expression flustered in her face. 

"What did you want when you were younger then? Before the Demon shenanigans?? For me I want to get stronger and protect my family while also enjoying life to the fullest."

Ryuu knew it sounded cliche but that's the only way for him to feel assured that nothing is going to happen to his family especially when his world actually had a supernatural world. 

"But that's still far in the future. You have a lot of time to think about it. Maybe you could come to my world after this is over."

"That sounds exciting."

Shinobu responded, finding herself trying to see what she wanted after everything was over. Ryuu was then shocked when he felt something pressed against his back and arms wrapped around him.

"I want to see what your world is like and maybe introduce me to your parents."

"Eh you're making it sound like you're my lover?"

"What if I am?"

Ryuu was silent hearing something unbelievable coming from Shinobu, baffled that she would say that and tried to wreck his mind knowing it was too surreal. He shook his head thinking she was only feeling obligated to repay him for helping her show the future.

"That's…I think you're just feeling that you need to repay from helping me but you don't to-"

"Of course not, I was just to know more about you that's all."

"Then would you change how you feel if I told you I've already had someone?"

Shinobu paused for a moment before giggling, which only left Ryuu confused as to why she was laughing rather than feeling disappointed. He could never understand a woman and was lucky that Justine acted like a boy but even then he was still confused at times. 

Their development only lasted close to a month similar to Anna Stockholm syndrome. He wanted her to like him for sure but thought it would last at least a half a year and not three weeks. It's like his fate was all in his favor, Harem protagonist luck if you will. 

"Why are you troubled when it's normal to have two to three lovers?"

Ryuu confused as to why she was this accepting in polygamous relationship when it only benefits him and not the woman. 

He can't just accept it without the woman having the certainty that they are willing to accept such an unusual relationship. Ryuu felt like he was a confusing mess when he wanted a harem but didn't want to hurt them. 

There is no denying that he was a scum but at least not enough to be Scum-che from against the gods. 

"What do you mean normal?"

"It's normal for a man to have multiple wives? Are you telling me in your world it isn't normal?"

"Yeah, it's illegal in most parts of the world unless there is royalty or a large amount of money and influence which I have but still, are you sure? It's only been three week that we have known each other and are you sure it's not because you feel you're obligated to repay me? Like I said it's-"

Ryuu was about to turn when Shinobu surprisingly kissed him in the lips which could be his first kiss. His lips were soft and tender that even though it was quick it felt like an hour had passed. 

"You don't need to think anymore, we have time to get to know each other and if it doesn't work then we can still be friends."

He truly wonders if this is how women are or if this is just how Shinobu is. Ryuu nodded understanding that her world was true as it's not like they needed to be lovers now and could grow more as time goes on. 

"And whoever this first woman that you like then I'm willing to be the second."

'Wow it sounded like a fanfic I've always read.'

He thought to himself hearing her words and was surprisingly on board with the harem thing. 

"But can you tell me....about her?"

Ryuu paused for moment thinking about his childhood friend that in every anime would always fail to get the protagonist which was dumb. It annoyed the hell out of him everytime he watched them. 

"Her name is Justine Reyes, my Childhood friend and has been with me throughout. She's a bit like Aoi or your younger self."

"What do you mean by that?"

Ryuu felt her embrace tighten that could easily kill a normal human but not for him thanks to his superhuman durability. He chuckled from her action and found it adorable before continuing his story about Justine. 

The more he said it, the more he realized how much she meant to him. Ryuu is reassured to have her having a primal urge inside him that wasn't present before. It was his intuition slowly growing stronger. 

"She seems quite nice and interesting girl."

"Yeah but don't tease her about it."

"Fufufu I'll try."

"Hey, how about I wash your back next?"

Shinobu agreed and let him watch her back before taking a deep once more in the spring water. Ryuu tried to not panic when Shinobu laid her head into his chest next to him. 

Ryuu's youthful look was still slightly taller than Shinobu which is why she was able to lay her head into his chest. If they somehow end up together then he would try to return everything twice.

The next day, Ryuu woke up in his room since Shinobu didn't try to train her magic after feeling too tired to do so. He stood up feeling his fatigue completely gone and stood up stretching his muscle and quickly opened his [ Gacha ] to see if there was anything interesting going to pop up.

[ You have acquired Byakugan ] 

Ryuu's eyes were shocked looking at the reward expecting something mundane and hadn't expected one of the Doujutsu from Naruto. He was reluctant to accept it since his eyes would appear white if it did then tried to look at the description.

However, he could feel it wouldn't be the case for him and quickly integrated before going to have breakfast. Ryuu winces from the pain as his eyes start to drip tears of blood. 

He used his Total Concentration Breathing to control the pain that soon ended and felt his vision become incredibly clearer than before. Ryuu tried to activate the ability that causes veins to pop up from his cheek below the eye.

'Whoa! I can see everything!!'

Ryuu acquired nearly 360° field of vision with the only exception being the blind spot around above the back of his head but even then it was nearly impossible to be attacked by surprise. 

'Wait what if I added my [ Parallel Thought Processing ] wouldn't that mean decrease the chances of my enemy to hit me?'

It was unbelieve sensation and could see through nearly any solid object that etched as far as 50 meters. Ryuu smirked then bought a mirror to see his eyes and surprisingly it remained the same but was completely red without an iris on the pupil. 

'This is really creepy jeez but at least it's barely noticeable.'

Ryuu stopped inspecting his eyes before heading to the kitchen to have breakfast and start his training with Mitsuri.
